Legolas had started longing for the journey West during the events of The Lord of the Rings. After the ceremonies of the Field of Cormallen in honour of Samwise and Frodo, Legolas was restless. He wandered in the woods and sang of the Sea. Aragorn urged him to remain in Middle-Earth and he did so for a time. He attended the coronation of Aragorn at Minas Tirith. The appendix is a vestigial organ in the human body. Appendicitis occurs when the appendix gets inflamed and is filled with pus. The symptoms of appendicitis includes pain in the lower right abdomen, vomiting, fever, etc. If not treated on time, it can lead to what we call a “burst appendix”.A burst appendix is a clinical emergency. If the appendicitis is treated on time, burst appendix can be avoided. Symptoms of a burst appendix include severe abdominal pain, swelling, vomiting, etc and the resulting peritonitis from spillage of pus from the burst appendix into its surroundings can be fatal if not treated quickly.Yes, someone with a burst appendix may have chances to survive, but prompt medical care is key. There should be no delay in getting medical attention if you have symptoms of a burst appendix. Early detection and removal of the appendix are indeed very necessary to prevent complications and even death.

We[1] know little more than the fact that Durin VII existed. The method of reclaiming Moria is completely unknown to us. What little information we have is taken from Appendix A of The Lord of the Rings and a little more from drafts that didn’t quite make it into the Appendices. Appendix A even tells us that after Durin the Deathless, there were five heirs, limiting most of our information from Durin to Durin VI…‘He slept alone, until in the deeps of time and the awakening of that people he came to Azanulbizar, and in the caves above Kheled-Zâram ... he made his dwelling... There he lived so long that he was known far and wide as Durin the Deathless. Yet in the end he died before the Elder Days had passed, and his tomb was in Khazad-dûm; but his line never failed, and five times an heir was born in his House so like to his Forefather that he received the name of Durin.’The Lord of the Rings - Appendix A - III - Durin’s FolkMines of Moria - By jcbarquetDurin VII is added as a descendant of Thorin III and we are given no dates. We then have to go to The History of Middle-earth to find more information, and this never even made it into the Appendices. Volume XII known as The Peoples of Middle-earth says that his birth was told in prophecy at the Battle of the Five Armies, and that he was born centuries later. In the Fourth Age he reclaimed and recolonised Khazad-dum. There they would stay until the world grew old and the Dwarves failed with the days of Durin’s race ending.That’s it. Durin VII is mentioned as existing and we have some drafts talking about him taking back Khazad-dum.
