The job opportunities in computing field is a little low in Singapore as it is mainly a financial hub. You will find most of the students going into either banks or consulting firms after completing their master's degree.This is also because there are very less tech companies having their development and R&D offices in Singapore. No. And no.In fact this move will backfire spectacularly on Google and USA.Before I explain why, first we should understand that Donald Trump thrives on chaos. That’s part of his business model, to come into a negotiation and unsettle all the negotiating parties. He can’t win fairly and never does. He wins through deceit, deception and despicable behaviour. His corruption is proven.Trump has declared Huawei a threat to AMERICAN security, simply to win a trade war. Huawei, like any good technology company, updates cloud based architecture by pushing content to servers. All technology companies do this. There is no security threat.Conversely,Google owns Boston Dynamics which contracts to DARPA, the military research part of US government. Right now, google are making killer robots. Google also has invasive use and exploitation of user data.Ironic isn’t it.Huawei’s sin is that they have become world leaders in 5G, well ahead of USA.This is important because 5G sets a standard for communication that will fuel iOT devices and therefore super charge blockchain and cryptocurrency.The 5G standard is for a minimum capacity of one million Devices per square kilometre.Which means that suddenly we will have billions of smart devices with ai and machine learning now able to serve humanity.Trump is afraid of China’s Technological superiority. So naturally he is playing an unfair brinksmanship game, because he can’t win playing fair.Huawei is a great company doing such a great job with technology that it is cannibalising sales from competitors. On track to be bigger than Apple as they continue.Which leads to why the google strategy will fail.Being such a great company, Huawei has the foresight to develop a contingency for the eventuality of being banned by google.Huawei has its own app ecosystem ready to launch immediately to 50m plus users.Banning Huawei will only serve to launch a competition eco system on superior hardware, thereby establishing Huawei as like the eastern version of Apple.Apple is optimising exciting form factors really well. No one would argue that Apple design has become boring and hit a wall. No new for Factor’s or innovations.Google will lose a massive user base of android and all the revenue that goes with it.As third world countries modernise, Chinese business philosophy of making friends and developing regional partnerships is a major competitive advantage.Huawei will be able to leverage openness (ironically) against USA authoritarian behaviour.Ironically, the secret services agencies of USA, Australia and New Zealand have breached the human rights act and broken the rules of the bill of rights and constitutional democracy, by dictating to the public and companies and judging us all for being guilty until proven innocent, by eliminating our privacy.So google and USA authorities are in fact biogeted and unethical, because they invasively breaching our rights of privacy.They feel that they can do so by activating THE LOAC. The Laws of Armed Conflict. If you declare a war on terror, then because you are at war, you can not follow a set of rules which diminish human rights by up to 90%.There are thirty human rights. Most people wouldn’t know what they are, which is a bit sad, because these rules are minimum standard for what ot means to be human.Trump is leveraging this state of war to undermine democracy and human rights to push his aggressive agenda of authoritarian rule.I am a New Zealand citizen and not a US citizen, yet US law is being peddled at my local post office in Australia, with placards about anti privacy rules that Australia is following to insatiate the appetite of those who think that human rights and democracy doesn’t matter.Therefore the plight of Huawei is now becoming a flash point for reasonable people to rethink how the west is behaving, lead by Trump.We like Huawei.Huawei staff are deeply involved in helping communities to connect and evolve into a new age of digital collaboration.This is helping many fields from education to healing. Without Huawei, USA companies, who are technically inferior in many fields, will gain an unfair monopoly.Now that google is making Huawei the underdog, there is going to be a massive backlash against AMERICAN companies, as consumers who are fed up with the decline of democracy fight back the only way they can.With their wallets.I think that consumers will vote against the monopolisation of American technology and adopt the alternate system to google.In fact I’m banking on it.Donald Trump thinks he is smart. And gen is very good at chaos. However chaos only works if you can rattle the subject of your machinations. China and Europe look at Trump like a petulant child.
