Is it illegal to block your own drive-way in the state of California (San Diego)?You wouldn’t think so. It is your driveway and you are the one blocking it. This is likely to be considered illegal. After all, how does a passing officer know it’s your car and your driveway. You are also blocking access from the street side for emergency access.If you parked the right way, you would still be blocking it but since you are entirely on your own property and not blocking the sidewalk, you would likely be fine.But, there are always exceptions. San Diego is a big place. You have the city of San Diego, the County of San Diego, the various suburbs which are often collectively referred to as San Diego and you have various HOA’s and neighborhood associations. All of which have their own rules and ordinances.Some places prohibit you from parking on your lawn, some from parking in your own back yard, some even from parking in your own driveway.It’s a good bet that parking in front of a driveway might garner you a ticket. The judge might let you off if you bring in proof that it was your car and your own driveway.

Well first problem, the armed forces cannot “remain neutral”. Not “would not” but cannot. They do not make their own political choices, they do what the Commander in Chief tells them.Second, almost half the land in California is federal property. So if Californians plan on seceding they either need to vacate this land or purchase it. Considering the budget problems they already have, I don't think this will happen.Third, where is California going to get all it's water and power? They import quite a lot from other states. They'll have to get cracking on some new power plants right away. I'm sure the environmentalists will love that.Fourth, why would all Californians unanimously agree to secede? Huge swathes of California counties are Republican, they just aren't as densely populated as the left coast. Why would they go along with this?

I don’t know that I’d say “right-wing,” but you can definitely get a sense for county-level partisanship pretty easily. Modoc County, at the top right, gave Mr. Trump a 48-point victory, and Shasta County, southwest of Modoc, posted a 37-point margin.Much of rural California is heavily Republican, and you can see the clear demarcation between the bluer counties on the coast and the redder counties on the interior, with a couple of exception.Of course, those rural areas aren’t where the population lives.
