If they used a fake ID, would it have fooled most people? Presenting false identification is a crime, too. I have worked at one shop that had a livid mother come down to yell at us about her “do no wrong” angel who gave us his older brother’s license. They looked nearly identical. In that state, tattooing a minor without consent will cause you to lose your body art permit and there is no getting it back. So this 16 year old kid was about to rob someone of their livelihood because he used a fake ID. The police sided with the tattoo artist and the kid was taken into custody and charges were pressed against him.Can you prove that the tattoo shop knowingly tattooed a minor? A reputable shop would do paperwork of some kind for a legal release form. I can’t imagine paperwork was done for a minor if they knew it was a minor. At that point it would be your kids words against the shop. The burden of proof is on you.Did another legal adult sign on their behalf? Not all state laws are black and white about who is allowed to be the responsible party. If someone else made that decision, it might fall on that person and not the Shop at all.I’m sure there could be more factors to take in, but you have to be sure. You can always complain to your local health department, as well, so they might get a surprise visit and have all paperwork checked. If you truly want to hold someone accountable, I would have words with the Shop in question. Talk to the owner or manager. See if the paperwork can be found. You’re more than welcome to involve the police.Lawsuits are difficult. If you can establish an actual crime took place, the lawsuit will hold more merit. Well to start off, Adderall (mixture of amphetamine salts), Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine), and Focalin (dexmethylphenidate) are all different kinds of central nervous system stimulants used to treat ADHD in adults and children. Although they all treat the same condition, there are some slight differences between them.Vyvanse (I am prescribed 70mg once daily in the morning), in my opinion, is the best for treating severe ADHD. Vyvanse is a prodrug, meaning that the psychoactive ingredient (dextroamphetamine) is not “present” in the actual pill, but arises after the liver has processed lisdexamfetamine into dextroamphetamine. It is then pumped into the blood stream and reaches the brain. This is also my favorite ADHD medication because it has very little potential for abuse. For the drug to work properly, it must be processed by the body. Meaning that it is impossible to insufflate this drug and get high. Because it must be processed by the body, Vyvanse is a long acting stimulant medication (70mg lasts me about 9–11 hours).Adderall works similar to Vyvanse except that it does not need to be processed by the body in order to work, giving it a quicker onset of action. And also making it easier to abuse. Adderall only lasts for about 3–5 hours (in the immediate release form) and is usually prescribed to be taken multiple times a day. Adderall can cause a “high” if too much is taken at once, causing it to be potentially very dangerous. Adderall comes in immediate release and extended release forms.Focalin is different from Vyvanse and Adderall in that it is a methylphenidate based drug rather than an amphetamine based drug like Vyvanae and Adderall. There are immediate and extended release versions of this drug. This drug also has potential for abuse and dependence.All these drugs do essentially the same thing, help relieve the symptoms of ADHD, but have slightly different effects on the body and mind. This is how I think of these three medications compared to each other: Vyvanse is perfect for me because it gives me the highest level of concentration and mood elevation that lasts the entire day (perfect because I'm in school) and it is also the smoothest (no massive highs and no crashes) ADHD drug on the market. Focalin doesn't do much for me (possibly because it's methylphenidate based and not amphetamine based) and usually makes me a little jittery and doesn't help with my ADHD that much. And Adderall helps my ADHD a lot but I need a longer acting medication, and it usually just makes me very creative, not necessarily focused.Hope this helps!!
