Thanks for asking me to answer Marc, but I don't really have many issues with the site except for the already mentioned Anonymous feature.Maybe it's because of the crowd I've always hung with, but I don't really offend easily. I consider some of the misogyny on here to be a product of cultural differences. Not a lot of it, but some of it. However, there are so many questions (Anon of course) that scream "I'm 22 and girls hate me and I just want to get laid but I can't so all women are bitches and we men need to find a way to fix them so they think right!" I find those questions sometimes funny, sometimes irritating, and always the product of an uneducated and immature mind.The one thing I do have a problem with are the named users who continually spout filth."You spot a plain hoe like this:— they smoke (she's so corrupt that she'll suck a dick next moment she's finished sucking her cigarette),— they drink alcohol (any kind of it, be it vodka, beer or exquisite wine of any kind; the reason is that alcohol affects a woman's brain in ways that make her instantly promiscuous — that's easily tested),— they go to nightclubs (decent girls know that you only go to a club to get laid or show off — no decent girl needs that),— they hug and kiss without any restraints (everything starts small, so a first date kisser is a hoe most definitely),— they show too much of their body (they wear miniskirts, show their cleavage whenever they can — clearly only hoes would do that),— they take pictures of themselves with little clothes on and post it on facebook and everywhere (those posting naked selphies are perfect hoes),— they are no virgins and not married (no decent girl would lose her virginity that easily)."I would do the proper thing and credit that quote correctly, but I'd rather not have to read his filth on this thread if I can help it. Everything I've ever read by this user is trash and is lowering the respectability of this site. And then there are people like this: Someone called me a "stupid h*e" on Quora! Why aren't people like this dealt with a bit more harshly?Oh, one more thing, this is gender neutral, Can we PLEASE be able to report people for text speak?"what does money have to do with happiness?if ur happy ur happy with or without money.if ur not happy without money, u wont be happy with money."I feel stupid for them. Another thing that lowers the quality of this site.I guess all I'm looking for is a place to freely air my lessons learned, my opinions, and my thoughts. I almost expect to get hassled anywhere on the internet but I haven't had the experiences some of the others have so I'm good with Quora. At least here, as opposed to gaming sites and chats, people believe I'm a girl.

The question is “Another school shooting. 17 victims. How will gun owners once again convince us more gun ownership makes us safer?” My answer is that gun ownership has nothing to do with making us safer, especially in a gun free zone.Having been briefed on the Lessons Learned after the Washington Navy Yard (Gun Free Zone) shooting in 2013, and having a close friend in charge of protecting the Building 197 crime scene for the FBI’s analysis, the conclusions reached were that having people with guns change the status of the “hunter” into the “hunted” as quickly as possible probably kept the number of victims (12 murdered, 3 wounded) from being much higher even after driving through an Entry Control Point with armed personnel, and walking past armed contract security at the front door who had a CCTV center to view different areas of the building. Remember, this was a guy with multiple weapon violations (not necessarily convictions) in Texas and Washington which he characterized as an anger fueled blackout. He was also moved to another hotel while working for a Navy contractor at Naval Station Newport after the voices in his head were causing him consternation. But I digress.I also read with great interest the report on the March, 2014 Naval Station Norfolk (Gun Free Zone) shooting of a Navy Master At Arms and the suspect who killed him. The suspect had previously been convicted of manslaughter (2008) when he killed a friend of his on a North Carolina highway, and was “given” 4 years (REALLY!!). There was another Entry Control Point with armed personnel at the Naval Station. The Police Officer didn’t wave him through, but didn’t EVER call out that there was a gate runner when he entered the base. He didn’t even go to investigate for 9 MINUTES!!! The suspect walked past the pier sentry who was distracted but saw him and didn’t challenge him. When the killer went onboard the ship, the Officer Of the Deck (OOD) who was reportedly much larger than the suspect, hid. The quarterdeck sentry was a small female sailor who drew her pistol to intimidate the suspect, but couldn’t sweep the safety, and couldn’t maintain the pistol in her grasp. When the killer took her pistol and when he and the Master At Arms started shooting at each other the killer was able to kill the sailor (because he wasn’t wearing his body armor). The suspect was then shot and killed by another sailor with a rifle from a little further away.I see numerous answers about school administrations not expelling students. I know from first hand experience that judges and juries don’t impose maximum sentences (4 years for manslaughter?), and nobody seems to know how to get somebody involuntarily committed for mental health evaluation.What I constantly see in regards to preventing these types of crimes are failures of entities to do their jobs:Security Clearance CompaniesYouth ServicesMental Health ServicesJudgesJuriesInvestigative AgenciesLocal Law EnforcementProsecutorsParentsSchoolsThis entire society is to blame for these types of fiascos, and trying to pin the blame on an inanimate object (gun) or trying to sarcastically ask how gun ownership makes us safer is ludicrous. On the other hand, having people that are trained to work as a team (a School resource officer, and a combination of 3–6 teachers, a maintenance person, or vice principal) who are armed, know each other and are trained to quickly respond and change the hunter to hunted, I believe would be effective in either nullifying the attack or deterring the attack altogether.

After all, his great grandfather, his granny, his dad were PMs ( His mom was one step ahead, the PM himself reported to her ). But Rahul was different. He never aimed to become a PM. He knew he could never be India’s PM, yet he continued fighting elections.Many people are suggesting that he should never have been a politician. Thats like telling Arjuna not to be a Kshatriya warrior! Thats precisely what Lord Krishna advised against.The second advice of Lord Krishna, to never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, Rahul follows it to the book. Congress faced countless debacles under his leadership. 2012 UP State elections, 2014 National elections, 2017 state UP elections and many more. But neither he nor his party consider him to be the cause of the failures. He continues to lead the party. On and on! Karma Yoga in action!Seriously, most of us would spiral into depression just after one failed interview or one bad yearly appraisal. But this man, faced so many failures and yet continues to work. He knows he doesn’t have the oratory skills of the likes of Modi, but yet he addresses numerous rallies and gives interviews where he messes up big time. He knows he doesn’t have the mass appeal of his grandmother, yet leads his party in national elections every time. He knows he’d be disposed off the day his sister Priyanka steps into the party, yet he is loyal to Congress.Why? Because it is his duty!You really need to have a very thick skin to persevere under so many odds.
