I would avoid drafting him in the first round and would pass on him until the middle to lower second round.Juju Smith-Schuster: WR, Pittsburgh SteelersADP: 18.9 Overall Rank: 17 Rostered: 99.4%Juju Smith-Schuster had a breakout season last year recording 1,429 receiving yards. Smith-Schuster will be carrying most of the load this year since Antonio Brown was traded to the Oakland Raiders. This may raise some concerns. Smith-Schuster has no experience playing as the first option wide receiver in the NFL. While he could very well become a top wide receiver next year, he could also flop due to more attention drawn onto him from the defense. An aging Ben Roethlisberger is also showing signs of inaccuracy which may also hurt Smith-Schuster’s production. I would pick wide receivers around Juju, if possible. However, there is a huge discrepancy between good receivers and bad receivers and Juju does fall under the former.Dalvin Cook: RB, Minnesota VikingsADP: 24.1 Overall Rank: 22 Rostered: 98.7%Dalvin Cook showed flashes of stardom in his first three games in his rookie year. However, those were ended by an ACL injury in Week 4. His return last season showed some promise but the young star needs to prove himself this year and cannot be depended on to be a surefire fantasy star. He would be a good RB2, but I would not draft him until I have two receivers and my RB1.Josh Jacobs: RB, Oakland RaiderADP: 38.3 Overall Rank: 35 Rostered: 91.6%It is always wise to avoid rookies in high rounds of a draft. If you feel that Jacobs will do well, wait for a lower round to draft him (if available). However, many high-ranked rookies do not live up to their expectations (Rashaad Penny, Ronald Jones Jr, etc).Rams Wide ReceiversBrandin Cooks - ADP: 39.4 Overall Rank: 36 Rostered: 98.5%Robert Woods - ADP: 48.2 Overall Rank: 44 Rostered: 97.8%Cooper Kupp - ADP: 53.3 Overall Rank: 47 Rostered: 96.9%While these three players are extremely talented with a very good quarterback, when you have three good receivers on a team, one (or even two) of the receivers will definitely get fewer touches.
