PDF Editor FAQ

What is the most bizarre thing you've caught yourself doing after your brain's autopilot misfired?

What a lot of people don't know about me is that I'm extremely ditzy, so these situations have happened to me countless times. I'm really not stupid, I promise. Here are some of them:When I was a smoker, I started lighting my cigarette as my dad was putting fuel in his car at the petrol station. With an open window. It wasn't until my friend was like “What the fuck are you doing?” that I had realised. Also when smoking a cigarette, I lit the wrong end. I made sure I had the correct end in my mouth, but still managed to somehow not notice. After a few puffs, the filter was in flames. It surely shocked me.My toaster malfunctioned and wouldn't release my toast. I was starving and annoyed because it was burning, so I picked up a knife and tried to get the toast out. Again, the same friend had to grab the knife out of my hand. I think she saved me on a few of these occasions.I deleted an entire essay I had just finished because I accidently highlighted it all. My finger automatically went to the delete button. Thank God for “undo".I went into college after I had graduated. I had some paperwork to hand in and went to see my tutor. We got to talking and walked into her class to finish the conversation. She was reading what I gave her and I sat down at a desk. About 20 minutes later, she comes to me and asks why I'm still here. She was laughing because I didn't actually know. I didn't need to be there after I handed it to her. I looked around and since I didn't recognise anyone, it finally clicked that I was no longer a student. My login at work wasn't working. I kept typing it in for over 10 minutes. As o had customers to serve, I had to call someone to cover me whilst I figured it out. I called my superior over because nothing was working. He looked at me, started smirking and said: “I don't think you can log in on the product code search engine…”. How I didn't notice, I'll never know. This is the worst one. I say that because I didn't do it once or twice. I did it close to TEN TIMES. I went to work when I wasn't on shift. Yes, I've mixed up my shifts before looking at the rota, but this time it was purely because my brain had a massive fart. I would get up, get ready and go to work. I signed in and then checked where I am needed for the day only to find out I'm not on the sheet. The manager on shift (who always seems to be the same guy) is laughing at me because I've done it again. They started texting me telling me I'm not at work the following day for a while, as a reminder. They found it so funny that all the staff ended up knowing. Whenever I go into work now, they ask me if I'm sure it's my shift today.

Did a teacher ever send a note home that got you in trouble?

Yes! And I’ve got two stories to share- one personal and the other from my son’s teacher. My personal story:When I was a sophomore, my parents had gone to Reno for a few days and had left us home, trusting me to go to school while they were gone.Rebellious ol’ me had ditched school those days and had taken the Benz on joyrides. I had figured out a way to not get caught with the car and had a plan for being excused from those days “off”.So I had my mom sign a note where she thought it was for math and which she authorized my request for tutoring. Note that I wrote this in pencil and thought I’d get away with erasing it and writing over it with the excuse of being away with them.I guess I didn’t erase enough of the note because it was obvious that there was something else on the sheet and the VP not only wrote a letter to my mom AND dad confirming my absence, but also called them at work “just to be sure” they received the note I was supposed to send to them. (No way did I give them the note- that was going to be close to suicide if I did that lol! Which is why there was a “follow up” call.)And to THINK I had the perfect plan….nope…my son tops that story….When my son was about 6 years old and prior to his diagnosis of severe ADHD, he was constantly getting in trouble at school. And I mean CONSTANTLY.There were times he’d get two referrals a day- one in the AM and the other in the PM.Needless to say, he was getting tired of it as was I.He just knew that pretty soon, I’d be taking away ALL of his toys. And to a 6 year old, a week of not having toys is like…uh…FOREVER!!!!Let me paint the picture…it was a TERRIBLE 2 weeks. He’d been called in to the office 2x almost daily. I was exhausted. Exasperated. The principal and he were having lunch dates on a regular basis and he was wreaking havoc at home and tormenting his sisters with his “boredom” thus getting in more trouble.I told him Wednesday morning, if I get ANOTHER note home from his teacher, my head was going to literally explode. That night, I was apprehensive to what I was going to see in his Wednesday folder. I carefully and delicately opened it as though there was a bomb about to be detonated if I wasn’t cautious.NOTHING.Whaaatttt?!?! My joy was evident in my face. I hugged him and said I was so proud of him for going ONE day without getting in trouble. Hey- each step towards progress is celebrated- it keeps the kids going! :)We had a great night.Thursday morning, I reiterated how happy and proud I was and encouraged him to go for starting a streak with today being a second day of no events. My son eagerly said yes to that! That bliss was short-lived. I get a call from his teacher that afternoon asking if I’d gotten her note and I said no, I had not.Apparently he’d gotten in trouble and had figured out in his genius mind that when he was sent home with paperwork, I signed it and returned it and that was that.He took the liberty of hiding the note and signing it for me….he thought he’d get away with it but his error was signing it at the bottom as “Mommy”.The teacher and I had such an uproarious laugh about the whole situation, I had to stop myself from laughing when I sat him down to “reprimand” him.To this day, we all still laugh about this event! :)

Has a student ever made a teacher cry? Why? Was it from sadness or happiness?

When I was young and hadn’t found tools to help me, I was super super disorganized at school (Churcher's College). I’d show up late, not know where I should be, forget books or homework, turn up to the wrong place. After enough complaints from teachers to my form-tutor, Mr Pook, designed an “organization sheet” which contained all my lessons plus boxes to be signed for timeliness, attendance, equipment and preparation / homework. It must have taken him an hour or more to do by hand. After half a day of using it, I promptly lost it. The next day, when he asked to see it and I said I’d lost it, he put his head in his hands and started crying in front of the entire form.

Feedbacks from Our Clients

CocoDoc is practically the same as the other similar programs that exist of this type, performs the same processes and in the same way being very easy to use (and with a very friendly environment), giving the options of cutting and pasting pdf, converting files pdf to other formats (word, excel. ppt jpeg), as well as to transform the files to pdf, number pages and in itself, all the same functions that the other programs have. However, it has a great advantage, and that is that the processing done to reduce the weight of the pdf files is really very good, since not only does this decrease, but it also maintains the resolution of the file as much as possible.
