These are merely guidelines, and this information may change at any time. For private party requests, including requests from civil litigants and criminal defendants, we recommend browsing Guidelines for Third Party Data Requests.WHAT IS UBER AND WHAT RECORDS DO WE HAVE?Uber is a technology company that has developed an app that connects users (riders) with driver partners who provide transportation to the user. Uber is not a transportation carrier, and does not employ any drivers. Users can use the Uber App to request transportation via their smartphone, the web, or via SMS. Uber users can choose from a variety of drivers available in his or her location. At the end of the ride, both the driver partner and user receive a copy of the fare receipt. More information about our services is available here. We store and maintain information as described in our Privacy Statements and our Terms of Use.WHAT TYPE OF LEGAL PROCESS DOES UBER REQUIRE BEFORE PRODUCING USER OR PARTNER INFORMATION?For U.S. Law Enforcement We require valid and sufficient legal process before we can disclose business records regarding partners, users, or trips. In most instances, we won’t be able to provide any information without a valid subpoena, court order, or search warrant. We accept law enforcement requests via email to [email protected] or via personal service through our corporate agent, National Registered Agents, Inc., 818 W. Seventh Street, Suite 930, Los Angeles, California 90017. Our acceptance of legal process does not waive any legal objections Uber may have and may raise in response to the request. For Non-U.S. Law Enforcement: We disclose business records only in accordance with our terms of service and applicable law. A valid U.S. court order (via mutual legal assistance treaty, mutual legal assistance agreement, or letter rogatory) may be required to compel disclosure of certain records. We accept non-US requests via email to [email protected] or via personal service to the following address: Uber B.V., Regus Business Platinum Centre Pvt. Ltd., Level 13, Platinum Techno Park, Plot No.17/18, Sec-30A, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra-400705. Our acceptance of legal process does not waive any legal objections Uber B.V. may have and may raise in response to the request.WHAT FORM OF REQUESTS DOES UBER REQUIRE, AND HOW ARE REQUESTS PROCESSED? To respond to a request, we will need to receive the applicable process described above, as well as a valid return email address from an official government domain. We review each request for facial and substantive validity, and will reject requests that are not facially and substantively valid. Among other things, we require requests to be narrowly tailored to a legitimate law enforcement need and will reject overly broad, vague, or unduly burdensome requests. In order to make sure your Law Enforcement Request is valid and does not seek more information than necessary, we ask for the following: A sufficiently narrow/defined time period; A specific event or action that the subject took; A specific reference (i.e., you must uniquely identify a user or driver partner) We disclose data to law enforcement when we determine that we are required to do so by law. In those instances, we will search for and disclose data that we are reasonably able to locate and retrieve.HOW DOES UBER HANDLE EMERGENCY REQUESTS?We have a process for evaluating requests on an emergency basis where there is an emergency that involves protecting a user, driver partner, or third party or stopping illegal activity that poses an immediate threat of death or serious bodily harm. Requestors must submit an Emergency Request Form (which can be requested through [email protected]) that describes in detail the nature of the emergency, and we review these requests on a case-by-case basis. Law enforcement can submit an emergency request by emailing [email protected]. Please note that we will only review and respond to emergency requests from law enforcement, and will not respond to emergency requests sent to this address by non-law enforcement officials. Non-law enforcement officials aware of an emergency situation should immediately and directly contact local law enforcement officials.DOES UBER NOTIFY INDIVIDUALS OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT REQUEST FOR INFORMATION RELATING TO THEM?Yes, we may notify subjects before producing their information to law enforcement, unless we are prohibited by law from doing so, or in exceptional circumstances such as emergencies. Law enforcement officials who believe that notification would jeopardize an investigation should obtain an appropriate court order or other appropriate process establishing that notice is prohibited.DOES UBER PROVIDE A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICATION OR EXPERT TESTIMONY?We may provide a certification from our records custodian but are not generally able to provide in-person or expert witness testimony. Law enforcement officials with questions about these guidelines should email [email protected]. Please note that we will not respond to non-law enforcement inquiries received at this email address. For non-law enforcement inquiries, please see Guidelines for Third Party Data Requests.

How are the Holy Spirit, Father, and Jesus similar and different?

Many years ago, I met regularly with a young woman to answer her questions about God. She had a masters degree in engineering and a PhD in economics and she was always at the top of her class. She was raised as a Buddhist and had many questions about the Christian God. I explained to her about how the Father loved us so much that his sent his son, Jesus, to die in our place, to pay the penalty for our sins. And that Jesus, upon his return to Heaven, sent us the Holy Spirit to comfort us and guide us and empower us until the return of Jesus when we would all join God in Heaven. I quoted her scriptures and even watched a movie about Jesus with her. She was attentive and interested but she did not give any indication that she wanted to receive Christ as her savior. One day I decided to ask her if she was ready to make a commitment to live for Jesus. Here was her reply, “Mike, I understand what you are telling me. I love the Father. I love Jesus. I love the Holy Spirit. And when I pray, I perceive the answers to my prayers along with a blessed warmth in my heart. I know that God is talking to me… but I don’t know if the voice I hear is of the Father, or Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. I really must know this. Please don’t pressure me when I am still not ready.”I was stunned. It had never occurred to me that the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit might have distinct voices. Of course they do. I was not even aware that they have different voices let alone different personalities; to me they were all lumped together as “God.” How well did I really know them? Not very well, I admitted to myself. Not long after this, the young woman gave her life to Christ and began her faith journey. I also began a new journey: I wanted to know God the Father; I wanted to know Jesus; and I wanted to know the Holy Spirit. That conversation happened twenty years ago and I have been pondering these things ever since… with some satisfaction. I’ll happily share some of the insights i’ve had concerning this with the disclaimer that they are personal insights rather than scholarly or theological — I’m not sure that it makes a lot of difference to some people — but for me, I much prefer the personal insights. In ways that seemed disconnected from my quest, I had come to recognize that there are three great loves that I longed to richly experience in my life: Father Love, Mother Love, and Romantic Love. I thought about these three kinds of love and how different they are, each one essential in its own way, and each imparted (or seemed to promise to impart) to me something that was missing and that I longed for all my life. I formed an idealized notion of each one that no human could live up to, but that reality did not dampen my sense of need. Eventually, it dawned on me that these three loves that I longed for were not human but divine, and somehow, distinctly represented by God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. My thoughts about Mother Love, Romantic Love, and Father Love as they relate to the trinity, did not evolve in an orderly or sequential manner and it was over the course of many years and much life experience and reflection that I began to see what appears to me now to be a simple and satisfying paradigm with which to view the distinct personages of the Godhead. I’ll relate my observations in the orderly way that I now view them, rather than the convoluted way that I arrived at them, or through the lens of my attempts to reconcile them with intellectual, scholarly views of the trinity.Jesus plainly told Nicodemus that he must be born again — spiritually in John chapter 3. So, if we must be born again, then we must also be reared again. Peter carries on the analogy, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” — 1 Peter 2:2 KJV. And there are more verses that carry on this line of thinking. But perhaps it’s much more than just a useful abstract analogy to get us inline with a theological set of doctrines. Suppose that God the Father, Abba Father, Daddy God, actually seeks a relationship with us as a loving father? And perhaps the other vital loves we yearn for also reflect the multifaceted yearnings of God? Let’s explore that thought!Since I was a young man, I have developed the habit of viewing complex things through the lens of a particular relational pattern. It’s the pattern of 7 in the Bible. It begins with the first sentence (which consists of 7 Hebrew words), carries on through the 7 days of creation, the seventy 7’s of the Daniel’s seventy weeks prophesy, on through the books into Revelation with the 7 letters to the 7 churches, and 7 seals & 7 vials. I won’t delve further into the patterns of 7 here, except to say that I found them profoundly illuminating as I began to search for the unique attributes of the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and the unique attributes of Father Love, Mother Love, and Romantic Love. I wrote a brief Quora article about the pattern here: Michael Gailey's answer to What evidence is there that the Bible is real?In the paragraphs below, I’ll outline my observations about seven attributes of each kind of Love and where they are derived, which reveals a great deal about the attributes of the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and the Father, which I hope will provide a further avenue of inquiry for the original poster.Once we are born, the first of the great loves that we encounter is Mother Love. Reading through each of the attributes below, it’s easy to see the motherly, tough and tender, nature described in the selected verses and the source of Mother Love is revealed in numerous verses as the Holy Spirit. I’ll note here that counselors will sometimes employ a helpful technique called reparenting, where someone who retains the residue of an emotional injury from a parent or loved one who failed to meet a need, will remember the incident and reimagine it with the need being met. As I ponder the attributes of each kind of love, I can imagine a similar sort of therapy — only with God walking us through our various injuries and healing them as he reveals himself to us in each incident.ATTRIBUTES of MOTHER LOVEProtection, But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy. — Psalm 5:11 NLTComfort, I will comfort you there in Jerusalem as a mother comforts her child.” — Isaiah 66:13 NLTNurture, Powerful kings and mighty nations will satisfy your every need, as though you were a child nursing at the breast of a queen. You will know at last that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel. — Isaiah 60:16 NLTTraining, But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. — John 14:26 NLTGuiding, The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. — Isaiah 58:11 NLTRescuing, Even when you are old, I will take care of you, even when you have gray hair, I will carry you. I made you and I will support you; I will carry you and rescue you. — Isaiah 46:4 NETBrooding. “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing! — Matthew 23:37 ESVI realize that some people may feel provoked by reading this post, their natural response being, “Oh yeah? Where was God when ________!” When I have felt like this, my anger, disappointment, and hurt fairly melts when I consider the brooding love of the Holy Spirit: “How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!” Now, though I am in my sixties and gray haired, I find myself more willing to be supported and carried and rescued than ever in my life.ATTRIBUTES of ROMANTIC LOVEBy the time we reach adolescence, we usually have felt the pangs of yearning for Romantic Love and this is the love that is exemplified by Jesus. It has always been perplexing to me to read the verses about Jesus being the bridegroom of the church. The romantic language of wedding feasts, the marriage supper of the lamb, and the church as a bride who has made herself ready has always baffled me. I’ve heard that some celibate nuns even wear engagement rings to signify their betrothal to Jesus — but I don’t think priests do the same! How indeed are men to imagine themselves as a bride to Jesus Christ? It’s definitely a mystery as Paul describes: “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” — Ephesians 5:30–32 KJVWhen I first began to gain some insight into this mystery, I was not seeking God’s love, nor feeling especially holy at all. I was anguishing alone in my apartment in a foreign country after my second failed long-term marriage. Though I had read books upon books about marriage and relationships, watched video after video, gone to seminar after seminar, and engaged in hours upon hours of couples counseling, and I understood and practiced the lessons taught, nothing worked. One counselor asked me, “Are you willing to do anything to save your marriage?” I said yes. After weeks of counseling my wife demanded a divorce. I said to the counselor, “I did anything, didn’t I?” “Yes, you did,” she affirmed.Well, if I did anything and my relationships still didn’t work out, what was I missing? As I pondered my experiences, I gradually began to see a pattern emerge and I began making notes about the 7 steps or stages that I perceived to be an integral part of Romantic Love. I posted them in answer to a question on Quora in 2018. The answer received over 1,000 upvotes and has an interesting comment section. Michael Gailey's answer to How do you know that you are no more in love?I made no mention of sex at all in the answer, which seemed odd to me since sex is perceived to be such an essential component of Romantic Love these days. But in almost 100,000 views, 1,000+ upvotes, 135 shares, and a couple of dozen comments, no one seemed to notice that the sex was completely absent. As I thought about this, I wondered if I had just inadvertently left it out (where does it fit in the pattern?), but then I realized that sex was incidental to the stages of Romantic Love. In reality, it might happen at the first or any of the stages — or it might not happen at all. I’m not downplaying sex (which I’m quite fond of), but recognizing the role it plays (or doesn’t play) with respect to Romantic Love was an eye-opener.It was a long time after writing the post about Romantic Love that I began to consider it as a kind of description of the Romantic Love relationship that Christians can have with Jesus. Once I had made that connection, I marveled at how well it actually described my own experience with Jesus (and many others relationship with Jesus that I’ve observed). So, here are the attributes of Romantic Love as I’ve come to see them. I find it a wonderful way to think of Jesus, his voice, attributes, and personality — and it completely resolves my discomfort with the bridegroom/bride metaphors in the Bible.Attraction — This is the initial attraction we selectively feel for another person. It’s often called chemistry. Whether it’s caused by pheromones, sensory clues, intuition, or some combination of things, I can’t say exactly — but some people attract us more than others.Connection — This is what happens when we seek to explore the initial attraction we feel by interacting with the other person. Sometimes it’s asking them out on a date, sometimes it’s timing our footsteps to stand next to them in a line, or taking the same class in school, or noting when they visit the water cooler at the office to chat them up.Infatuation — As the frequency of connection increases and attraction is confirmed and strengthened, a cocktail of hormones is released in our bodies and we enter an intense phase of desire to be with the other person. This is the phase popular culture recognizes as “love”. We see the other person as through rose-colored glasses and their every move, look, and action delights us, no matter how absurd. We are blinded to their faults and exaggerate their good points. This phase lasts about 18–24 months before the hormonal inducers begin to subside. This is often long enough to get married, entangle finances and even have a child or two. But inevitably, by the end of 24 months, they’ve “lost that lovin’ feeling. Whoa, that lovin’ feeling… and it’s gone, gone, gone, whoa oh oh…”Reality (Authenticity) — Now that the hormones have dropped back to normal levels, we stare blinking at the other person wondering what we were thinking back in stage 3. Suddenly, we realize that it wasn’t that the stars and planets had somehow aligned and brought two lonely souls together in a perfect match beyond anything anyone in the history of the world has ever experienced; we are two different persons, with different needs and desires, different outlooks and goals — this is in stark contrast to our fantasies of romantic bliss forever. A lot of conflict tends to surface in this stage. We say things like, “How could I have been so blind?” Or we add a bit of blame and accuse the other of deliberately deceiving us or changing into a different person. Really, it’s mostly that, without the masking hormones, we notice that they’re not meeting our needs the way we want them to. Sometimes we even push their buttons and aggravate the situation just to prove the point. Lingering in this stage for too long is a mistake — it tends to make us bitter. But it’s one of the natural stages of love and it’s necessary. Like the other stages (except the last one), it’s transitionary.Decision Time (Resolve) — Even if you’re already married and obligated by now, you still have to face this stage. Now that the hormone induced romantic mists have cleared and you have taken stock of the actual situation, you must recommit... or not. There is no ceremony for this and you may or may not discuss it with your partner — but it happens nonetheless. It’s at this point that some couples conclude that “that lovin’ feeling” is gone for good and they exit the relationship, looking for fresh love — another infatuation experience. Fortunately, for many, the benefits of staying together outweigh the discomforts — and pressures to flee the relationship — and they stay together, if even for convenience. Often, some kind of a negotiation takes place — a mutual truce with terms. Note that if back in stage 4 you discovered that your paramour is an ax murderer, or a child molester, or something else along those lines, exiting the relationship may indeed be the right decision. Otherwise, the decision to stay becomes an invitation to the next stage: intimacy.Intimacy — At this stage, you see the other person for who they really are and they see you for who you really are too. And you accept the good along with the bad. You’re no longer wondering if your love will last — you know it will because you’ve made a conscious decision to love and trust them — and they you. As George MacDonald said, “Few delights can equal the presence of one whom we trust utterly.” This stage of love is not accessible prior to stage 5 as you’re both still wearing masks up until then — some conscious, some unconscious. But now, you are vulnerable to each other; you know each other’s panic buttons, but you protect them rather than push them. The feelings of stage 3 are rekindled but instead of feeling fleeting and momentary like hot sparks, they are like deep glowing embers of a fire that never goes out. Now, it seems like before, when you were infatuated, you were splashing about in a puddle of shallow water — whereas, in intimacy you are swimming in the great deep.Unity — In this final stage, two have become one. You know each other’s thoughts and feelings, needs and longings; his needs are hers and hers his. Herein lies the mystery of the ancient scripture: But from the beginning God created male and female. For this reason a man will leave his parents and be wedded to his wife. And the husband and wife will be joined as one flesh, and after that they no longer exist as two, but one flesh. So there you have it. What God has joined together, no one has the right to split apart.” — Mark 10:6–9 TPTATTRIBUTES of FATHER LOVEThe love of the Father is the first of the great loves for which I had identified the 7 attributes. It is revealed more directly that the others (He describes himself plainly in Exodus 32). Though the Father’s love is clearly described and his attributes can be listed easily enough, I find it impossible to fathom the depth of it. I’ve listed it last, but in many ways, it comes first (though we’re often not aware of it). I’ve written quite a few answers that pertain to individual attributes of Father’s Love, so perhaps a better way to express my thoughts on the love of the Father may be to simply link to some of my posts:Compassion — Michael Gailey's answer to What was the most meaningful, yet fleeting, relationship you've ever had?Patience (longsuffering) — Michael Gailey's answer to What's the saddest thing someone told you before dying? and Michael Gailey's answer to Why are we born to suffer if God loves every one of us?Mercy — Michael Gailey's answer to Will God have mercy on everyone for every sin? in The Christian CornerLovingkindness — Michael Gailey's answer to Would you ever leave your spouse because of your step-child?Truth — Michael Gailey's answer to If your child accidentally stole items from a store, would you take them back and pay?Grace — Michael Gailey's answer to One day, when out walking, my eldest daughter said: “Daddy, I don’t think I’ll ever be a swan”. What is the saddest thing your young daughter ever said to you?Forgiveness — Michael Gailey's answer to How can God forgive you for your sins if you can't forgive yourself? and The Bible says to love the Lord with all our strength. How do we do this?I’ve come to see vast differences in The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, their voices, personalities, attributes and their love, but they are always in perfect agreement. I recognize that this post is wholly inadequate in expressing the true nature of God — it is only my thoughts and reflections as I navigate the paths of my life.

How would you define the word “Space” and what piece of poetry or literature would you use to support the definition?

The word space can mean many different things, depending on the context in which it is used. For the sake of convenience, and for its authority, I would defer to the Oxford English Dictionary for definitions as well as for supporting examples from literature:I. The card reading company kept declining every card I had even though they were all in good standing. Customer Service (online chat) tried several remedies. Still did not work. I needed to print the document I completed. Customer Service gave me a one time free print so I was not in a bind and will try again tomorrow from different computer to actually purchase the service!! Thank you!!
