First of all congrats for getting selected in TCS. Once you have been selected the company will email you the offer letter and you should accept the offer letter on the nextstep website. Since I have completed all my ASPIRE and TECH LOUNGE exams conducted by TCS in my college itself I have some knowledge how the procedure works.After being selected you have to accept the offer letter from this website Campus Portal::Tata Consultancy Services using your CT Reference idAfter accepting you should select your preferred location and steam you want to work.Then you can see this in the tracking processYou can also check the status using the TCS nextstep app. TCS NextStep APKThen comes the hard part, you have to clear the online ASPIRE exam to get into TCS.Aspire exam is a SBQ type which comprises of basics like introduction to computer, OS concepts, Database, Networks, Computer architecture and many more and also you would have a programming assessment in python. You should get a pass mark to qualify to to Tech Lounge exams.The below picture will tell you clearly what happens once you accept the offer letter.So once you get to complete all your exams you would soon get the call letter based on your performance in the exams.——————————————————————————————————————————Edit 1:Finally I got the joning letter for the place and date.In the previous answer that i have written only satisfies almost half the question. Let me tell the rest of joining formalities since i have got the call letter.Try to accept the joning letter in the TCS nextstep portal.There are two important documents to get ready with and a medical certificate. ( I will explain the documents below)Once you accept the joining letter, You can see two new links at the left corner of the window as “ Onboarding forms & background check” .You must have already registered for NSR ( National Skills Registry ) and must have an ITPIN if not try to registry through this link Welcome to National Skills Registry 2 .You must also have PAN card for you if you don’t get it.Now, I will explain some points briefly.Documents Needed:You need to type two documents such as a service document(2 years bond agreement with a surety for you ) and affidavit document ( no criminal record are on you ). The documents should be typed in 100rs. bind paper. There will be sample documents in the portal itself under the ILP corner link. You can download and see to that.You must also download Annexure I from the same link. The details to fill up the documents are clearly said in the Annexure I. Try to read it fully and check for each tab.You could see the ILP corner in the picture. Read the ILP corner fully you would get a clear idea on how to fill up the forms.Onboarding & BGC:You must fill all the onboarding forms and BGC forms before the joining date. YOu must compulsorily have PAN card for filling up BGC forms.For filling onboarding forms you will find sample letters for each form in the onboarding tab. After that take printouts of those forms .Other details you find in the ILP corner and ANNEXURE I itself. Follow the procedure itself.

Eventually i got over that period with the help of few unplaced students, completed college and returned back to Chennai “Unplaced”. What i did in that period of time was to analyse what i was interested in, what my strengths were and what my weakness where. One of the strengths i possessed was good writing skills.I read a lot of sample articles, learned a lot of word placement, blog writing, blog editing, content generation, keyword placement etc. Now i am working in Vembu as a “Technical Writer” from June 2016. It’s just that my friends got that happiness while they were studying in college and i got that happiness few months later.Look i am not working in a top rated company as a CEO or something but the thing which i want to say to all the unplaced students just like me is that “It is not a shame being unplaced” just accept that you weren’t good enough for getting a offer letter. It is not the end of your life, Stop comparing yourself with your friends which i did. Avoid it completely start focusing on your strengths immensely and apply to jobs related to your strength alone. I am sure you will master in that. Life has better to offer buddy !
