PDF Editor FAQ

Can women play football well in the NFL?

Legally - yes.Any team can sign a woman if they want to waste a roster spot.Practically - no.Even a female kicker or punter would not have the kicking speed or distance of a male player, and if they were ever required to make the tackle on a kickoff or blocked kick, the likelihood is they could not take the full impact of a man running full speed. Not politically correct, but truthful

What would happen (your opinion) if a football team (soccer) was to be expanded where 19 players + 1 girl are on each team?

What would happen (your opinion) if a football team (soccer) was to be expanded where 19 players + 1 girl are on each team?I managed a USISL men’s Division 3 pro soccer team that had a woman player. See: Is it possible for a woman to play in a male football team? and Gayle Smith WilsonI refereed more than a few games of a local adult amateur recreational league that required each team to have at least two women of the possible eleven playing on the field at all times. This necessitated rosters that had as many as four or five female players, but I do not believe that the roster totals were increased from a customary 18. Teams could play with as few as 5 males on the field, but could not play with fewer than 2 females. The recreational teams were clearly social institutions. There were differences between the two genders on the field. The men, as one would expect, were faster and stronger. The women often had better touch and ball control, and their passing was more precise. The men were generally poorer players than the women, and had to rely on strength and speed to compete. The women relied on game sense and smart use of space. At the pro level, there were men who were adamant in belief that mixed teams were abominable, corrupting the game; The adult rec league’s male players always had the option of joining men’s leagues if they were totally opposed to being on the field with women. I think that in both leagues, there were men who would have been willing to commit vicious fouls against women players, and in general, this led the women players to practice smart possession and to make early passes to avoid being tackled. Nevertheless, there were women rec players who were willing and able to challenge male opponents, and skillful players of both genders made for interesting games. As a referee for the mixed league, I cautioned and sent off overwhelmingly more players for misconduct by male players against male opponents, for the same sort of things that I had to show cards for when reffing men’s leagues. I never saw in these recreational games the sort of vicious fouls and excessive competitiveness by women that I observed in some women’s NCAA intercollegiate matches. IMO, high-level competitive mixed games would include fouling by players of both genders against opponents of both genders, and I would expect to see severe over-reactions by surprised victims or players who were simply unwilling to accept such fouls from the other gender. This is the main reason I support FIFA’s decision to outlaw mixed games at the high levels

What is the minimum height one can be to be a successful high school basketball player?

Unless you’re Peewee Gardner (look him up on YouTube he’s disgusting), at least 5’9” assuming you have great ball handling, genius level basketball IQ/passing ability, dead-eye shooting, solid driving skills and freakish athleticism. If you’re small then you’re going to really have to earn your spot on the roster because there are plenty of people scrapping over shorter positions, the reason being that as height increases, the number of prospects plummets. There will be plenty of average height players looking for a point guard spot, but only a handful who can play center. An even bigger factor is how large your high school is in terms of student population: A school with 4,000 students will probably have a more competitive team in a more competitive league, a school in the middle of nowhere with 200 students will probably have a walk on team in a league with other low-caliber teams. The only other exception is a freshman team; if your school is big enough to have one of those, you might be able to snag a roster spot if you are decent/ know the right people/ show up to all of the conditioning practices before tryouts and get let on the team out of pity (if that’s the case don’t expect playing time, do expect to fetch water during practice).Long story short you need to be a beast at the point guard position if your height is in question. The smallest beast I’ve ever seen is peewee but that’s 1 in a million.I’m gonna go with 5’9” assuming you’re very athletic, and 5’11” assuming you’re a good all around player. These numbers are reasonable minimums, not factoring in extremities.Size really does matter…if you’re small then you’re probably going to get stripped, swatted, backed down in the post and abused by bigger players in general, so you really have to make up for it with other attributes.***EDIT***Now that I think about it, it also depends what country we’re talking about. My assumption was for the United States, other countries may deviate in average height. In that case, ideally you’d be a little bit taller or shorter depending on where you live. Some countries in Europe have fairly tall men, others in Asia have relatively short men. The other assumption is that you’re a male, females are a few inches shorter on average.

Feedbacks from Our Clients

This software saves tons of paper. My business is client-based and we require a lot of negotiations which, of course, must all be signed or initialed for approval. Because CocoDoc has digital copies of the contracts, we can just mark them up in CocoDoc and then send them off to the client to sign. It can be used all over the world. If I need to sign something from home, I just click. If I have a client in Japan and I'm located in the states, we just use CocoDoc to get their signatures without having to put anything in the mail. I can CC anyone when I send out a document and everyone is notified when it is completed so we can take action right away. It lets you know that someone has opened the document but hasn't signed so you can reach out to your client and ask if they need clarification on the contract. It's clear and easy to use, even for those that aren't tech-savvy.
