Dr. B.R Ambedkar was the student of two best universities in the world i.e Columbia University (USA) and London School of Economics (UK) and I think these universities teach their courses (Major) in the English language only.And he drafted the Constitution of India and our Constitution is written in the English language only.He wrote so many volumes in his lifetime; all were written in English and a few days before his death, he completed his last book "Buddha and His Dhamma" in English. Anonymous is right in saying that you need to apply through UCAS to British universities such as the LSE. However, you do not need to submit a SAT score, all that might be required is a standard score in any english proficiency test (IELTS, PTE, etc.) if the university requests it. Do make sure that you check their entry requirements, as CBSE is often not recognised by a lot of British universities.Moreover, I would recommend that you look into the University of London International Programmes which are offered by the University of London on a distance learning basis. You can enrol, study using the material that UoL provides, and give examinations every May just like any other university. Currently, there is a UoL affiliate centre in India (Indian School of Business and Finance in Delhi) which offer full time academic support for this programme (like any other college). By enrolling in this programme, you will have a chance to transfer to British universities directly in the second year, which is a very cost effective (and time effective) option. Furthermore, this may be your only shot at attending such universities if they do not accept CBSE students directly out of school(assuming you are a CBSE student). Make no mistake, competition for second year entry is also very tough, but it is very achievable if you are determined to succeed from day 1.Why should you believe me?
