Not exactly the same way but I knew its importance also.Mainly started focussing on it from 12th.It is crucial for both Boards and NEET.Chapters that must be read from NCERT:1) P block2) S block3) D and F block( learn the elements’ names with their configuration.Students ignore this sometimes because it is slight difficult to learn)Read and understand the tables including I.E,E.A,Size,Electrode potential very carefully in all chapters of inorganic chemistry..4)Hydrogen and it's compounds5)Coordination compounds( I love it!!So interesting it is!!)6)Full organic chemistry (specially of 12th and purification of organic compounds from 11th)Learn bond angles' comparison also( like in ether,alcohol and phenol)7)Sometimes same examples/exercise Questions come in actual paper with same data..(eg physical chemistry like solid state)8)Chemistry in every day life and environmental chemistry (12th and 11th: Many facts are there! )All drugs' names and functions.Photochemical and classical smogConcentration of Pb,SO42+,NO3- etc in water(Asked in JEE many a times)If you can ,recall the structures of drugs also -given in NCERT so that you can easily find out which one is which..9)Polymers(This time also, 3 lines of NCERT came as it is . Even ,uses are important)10)Biomolecules ( Remember everything about amino acids-name, structure,symbol :asked in AIIMS and JEE quite often ..)Last three chapters are even more important than any other chapter.Many times students ignore these chapters thinking them either to be nothing or to be very boring .This costs them a lot..You should be thorough with all the tables,in-text Questions, Exercises, Examples,boxes and summaries…If you can, then start reading NCERT from very beginning (class 11th )..Many a times, direct copy paste lines come from NCERT…If you read it thinking it to be your bio NCERT, it will be awesome! Really!…These are NCERT's Jadoos!!

Here are some of the mistakes commonly seen:(Some of which, I myself might have committed too :( )Ignoring the daily work given in class.Focussing more on quantitative study, rather than qualitative study.Taking the class tests lightly. Ignoring the mistakes you do in everyday test.Attraction towards opposite sex.( U r a teenager after all, quite obvious, it can happen)Ignoring NCERT (Especially for chemistry, which is quite scoring, atleast in Mains)No regular practice.Skipping on chapters.(Most Imp. - The one I did myself) - Having the intuition that you are weak in some chapters and strong in others. Well, you could be weak in some, but , strong in none for sure.Its JEE we are talking about. You will always have surprises waiting for you on the exam day :). Cheers!
