Photocopy of a counter ticket is not acceptable but you have many other ways which will allow you to complete your journey.In case you lost or missed your confirmed counter ticket then you can show the berth confirmation message sent by IRCTC right after booking or after the chart preparation.In case, you don’t have the message sent by IRCTC then also you can complete your journey by showing valid ID proofs to the TTE but you should know your berth no. otherwise you will have to wait till the TTE doesn’t comes to your coach and informs you about your berth no.Note: If you lost or missed your waiting counter ticket then there is no other way which will allow you to travel in the train.Tickets booked online are stress free.
