Even when caught, if they don’t have a serious criminal record, the deportation proceedings can be drawn out for decades while the “deportee” continues to live and work in the US.The famous DACA program falls in this category with limited support from the US government to award citizenship to children who illegally entered the US and attended school while remaining illegally in the US. In order to discourage the practice of illegally bringing ofr sending minor children into US, many US politicians wish to make an example of how harsh US Government punishment can be and inflict the ultimate torture … Giving US citizenship to these childrenThink of it, for the rest of their lives, they will have to report their income to the IRS and be free of harassment when crossing the US Border. We are currently overdue for the next one. For some reason though forcing illegals to become legal residents with a path to citizenship or immediate citizenship fails to discourage others who might be planning to settle illegally in US.
