PDF Editor FAQ

Can Sebastian Vettel be considered anywhere near the standard of Fernando Alonso or Lewis Hamilton?

No.Do you know he has 52 wins in Formula 1 and none of them from below 3rd on the grid ? Alonso has done it from 12th on the grid in 2012 with fourth fastest car (after Mclaren, Red Bull, Lotus) and several times below 3rd. Lewis Hamilton won from 14th in July and several times below 3rd. Basically without a front row start Seb is doomedIt is hard to judge how good Vettel ultimately is because his career has been spent in fairly protected positions with Red Bull Racing (where he was considered the golden boy) and then at Ferrari (where Kimi has been compliant when required). The one year when we saw Vettel under pressure from a team-mate was in 2014 when he was up against Daniel Ricciardo and he ended up being beaten by the Australian,Which is reason why he left Red Bull at the end of the 2014 season because new teammate Daniel Riccardo was beating him mercilessly, 238 points to 167At the last GP at Monza he thought he had pole and was celebrating in team radio before Kimi took it away with a lap record as it was his GP to slipstream. Seb then said “we speak after”. He then failed to explain what he meant 'Unhappy' Sebastian Vettel fails to clarify disgruntled radio message, Sebastian Vettel demands answers from Ferrari after team-mate Kimi Raikkonen beats him to poleHamilton and Alonso are not scared of their teammates. Daniel Ricciardo unsure if Sebastian Vettel would block rematch Hamilton has repeatedly said he welcomes Alonso as teammate at Mercedes Lewis Hamilton may want a Fernando Alonso battle - but this is why he will NOT get one. Vettel prefers Kimi because he knows he is slower because of maybe old age and reportedly vetoes fast drivers to join him Lewis Hamilton as a teammate? Sebastian Vettel prefers Kimi RaikkonenHe makes too many mistakes under pressure something Alonso and Lewis thrive under. Last year Alonso would have won in that Ferrari and this year Ferrari is faster but playing catch upAlonso has the reputation for squeezing the last km/hr out of every car or tractor he is driving. Seb is not known for this. His chance to prove it was 2014 but he failed to win while his teammate won three timesLewis is king of the wet. In 2007 as a rookie he qualified on pole on a wet Fuji Speedway track* and won on the now very wet track that caused the race to start behind safety car. Over the seasons he has proved this ability often. Whereas Seb crashed on his own accord on a wet German GP a few months ago while leading. Failed to tale pole position at a wet Spa track despite having a faster car. Lewis took that pole positionPeople talk of Vettel’s 4 WDCs. Two of those were plain easy. In both seasons he had a very fast car reminiscent of the F2004 of Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barichello they drove in the 2004 season. In 2013 season Vettel was on par with the rest of the top cars when just before mid season Pirelli introduced a new tyre specification that benefited Red Bull enabling him to win the last 9 races. Alonso had to battle reigning Champion Schumacher and the then “fastest man in F1″ Kimi Raikkonen to win his first WDC. He also had to contend with a teammate who was could not dilute his rivals’ points. 2006 season was certainly no different. This prompted Alonso to say Only normal car will prove 'legend' status for Vettel - Alonso. Lewis too had to fight for his WDCSuch was the speed of the Red Bull that Lewis Hamilton approached Bernie to help him get a Red Bull seat as Seb’s teammate Hamilton was 'desperate' to drive for Red Bull before joining MercedesSerena Williams has the temper of Vettel. The incident in Baku 2017 where he intentionally banged Lewis’s wheels should have resulted in a race ban. This temper is also the reason he ends up making mistakesThis is not to say he is a bad driver. He is truly World Championship material. Toro Rosso’s only win and pole position came courtesy of him in Italy 2008 and both in wet conditions like Hamilton a year earlier in Japan GP. He is very fast and i consider him the fastest of the three if the car is perfect and conditions are great. He is just not an overall great driver like Fernando Alonso or Lewis Hamilton.

Why did Kansas City end up traversing two states?

Navigating the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area can be a little difficult. The real trickiness lies in the fact there are technically two Kansas Cities – Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri. But, when you take a look at the region, it’s not all that tough to decipher. Kansas City might include a state line that separates it, but it’s really one big region at heart. To help as you’re learning your way around Kansas City, we’ve put together this little piece to explain the split and what it means. Just so you know, the western Kansas City is the third biggest city within the state of Kansas. It boasts more than 145,000 residents. The city’s eastern counterpart is the biggest city in Missouri, hands down. In fact, with its 442,000-plus residents, Kansas City, Missouri, is a whopping one-third more populous that its nearest rival St. Louis. It also covers an area that’s about five times as large! Now that you know the two cities each hold major prominence within their respective states, let’s take a brief look at their borders and histories. It’s important to remember that together they make up one of the country’s largest Metro areas and share a similar spirit, but the two Kansas Cities are also unique. It’s perhaps that spark that makes the region so special. The two Kansas Cities are “split” by an imaginary state line along about half of their 10-mile border. The other part of the border is made by the Missouri River itself. The Metro area is made up of dozens and dozens of other cities, with Overland Park, Kansas, and Lee’s Summit, Missouri, adding to the overall population by more than 230,000 people combined. The history of the two cities dates back quite a ways in American history. Kansas City, Missouri, was the first to take the name. It was settled in 1821, but didn’t have an official name until years later. There’s a legend in these parts that city fathers rejected such names as Possum Trot and Rabbitville before naming the city after the Kansas Indians. When the town was incorporated in 1853, it took on the name City of Kansas. In 1889, it officially took on the moniker Kansas City. The Kansas counterpart became known as Kansas City, Kansas, in the 1880s when several small towns were grouped together to become one large city. The idea, it’s said, was to basically ride on the coattails of Missouri’s now successful Kansas City. While success might not have been immediate following the Kansas move, a general air of confusion was. In fact, that confusion remains today as people struggle to figure out “which Kansas City” a person might be talking about.Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri, may share names, but they do have different stories. The Kansas incarnation, for example, became the home of industry and immigrants, while the Missouri version became known for professional sporting teams, airports, galleries and more. The inequity that seemed to plague the two Kansas Cities began to dissipate in 1997 when Kansas City, Kansas, consolidated with Wyandotte County. The resulting Unified Government of Wyandotte County, Kansas City, Kansas breathed new life into the Kansas side of the coin. That city is now home to the Kansas International Speedway and a bevy of other economic endeavors that have given the city a new lease on life.As Kansas City, Kansas, finally came into its own, Kansas City, Missouri, began an aggressive revitalization of its downtown region with the creation of new hotels, convention centers and more. The city’s industrial district thrives, while several of its school districts are known as some of the best in Missouri. Now, rather than one city standing above the other, the two Kansas Cities stand tall on their own and combined make one of the best Metro regions in the country. Kansas City, Missouri, is known for its booming downtown, arts, entertainment and River Market. It’s home to Country Club Plaza and the state-of-the-art Sprint Center.Kansas City, Kansas, is now known for its speedway, economic opportunities and growing, prosperous cities.Separated by a river and an imaginary state line, the two Kansas Cities combine thanks to a progressive Interstate system to make a region “separated” come together. The names might still lend themselves to a general air of confusion, but if you’ve chosen to call the region home, you’ll soon find yourself doing what the locals do – referring to Kansas City, Kansas, as “KCK,” and the Missouri version as simply Kansas City! Or, for simplicity, just remember it’s all one big region with a single heart.I would like to give credit to Tiffany Lewis for this answer. Thanks!

Did the quality of Paul McCartney and John Lennon’s songwriting drop after the breakup of The Beatles?

Paul took the break up of The Beatles really hard and hit the bottle while on his farm in Scotland. The one positive thing that Allen Klein did was to get John writing and writing good material with the “Plastic Ono Band” and “Imagine” having said much of the latter were songs that would have been familiar to Paul. Macca’s debut album “McCartney” sold well but it’s homemade quality was it’s weakness. The follow up “Ram” is now seen as a classic but at the time John’s attack, most notably “How Do You Sleep?”, followed by a series of nasty letters written to the NME hit Paul really hard and he began to doubt his own ability to write songs. This wasn’t helped by the release of the shockingly poor “Wild Life” album. John meanwhile, had ‘upped sticks’ and moved to New York and became a lightening rod for every political activist with a cause. This saw the release “Sometime In New York” which was badly conceived and more badly received, providing no song of note. Back in Britain, Paul got Wings up and running, opening with “Red Rose Speedway” to mixed reviews.By 1973 John was off the rails and hanging out with hard drinking and drug taking friends. “Mind Games” saw his stock fall even more, while Paul brought out the highly acclaimed “Band on the Run” and coincided with Lennon putting out feelers for a reunion. For whatever reason it never happened and John’s following albums “Walls and Bridges” and “Rock and Roll” were both average before he went in to retirement. Paul of course took Wings to America for a successful concert series, had two more successful albums “Venus and Mars” and “At the Speed of Sound”.By the end of the decade Paul took Wings back on the road to promote the “Back To The Egg” album where he promoted the forthcoming single “Coming Up”. And it was the live version that went to number one in America and was good enough to bring John out of retirement. But that’s another story.
