I am not sure whether it is an item but it still qualifies as completely overpriced and a waste of moneyINDIAN MARRIAGES a.k.a BIG FAT INDIAN WEDDINGIt is a disease to the Indian middle class society as people are driven by social pressure of exhibiting there capabilities .I have seen middle class neighbors renting huge halls for 1 1/2 days . Hosting reception and weddings inviting strangers and feeding them some expensive catering service where each leaf costs you 500 INRAnd the catering in itself is a legal form of robbery. The caterers will have their hayday at every wedding. They do not evenb serve the guests based on age and size. They just simply fill the leaves like this :I have myself seen <5 yr old kids or 70+ senior citizens with filled leaves and they totally waste that foodI don’t know who started this but unnecessary lengthy Menus and lavish decorations force a family to spend their 20 yr savings in just 2 daysWorst part is additional expense of Mehenthi, Expensive cars and decorationsPS: Pictures are from other answers in Quora and Internet search:)

This little-known area is less arid and more fertile than the familiar northern ranges, and was traditionally farmed by Sauron's slaves to support his armies. Today it stands as a fascinating vision of industrial environmental degradation where scalding streams feed the contaminated salt Sea of Núrnen, home to a range of iconic beach resorts favoured by locals:Soaking up the poisonous rays on the glorious, uncrowded beaches of the Sea of Nurnen.Children will love frolicking in the warm, polluted waters, while parents relax in one of the traditional seafood restaurants which grace the sulphurous shores.
