As President, I would do several things differently.I would expand the role of VP to ensure taxpayers get their money’s worth. A VP is too well paid to be relegated to a few speeches and an occasional visit to the Senate. My VP would be my de facto chief of staff and responsible for communicating our policies to Congress, negotiating votes with Congress, have my back, etc.Weekly meetings with the leaders and seconds of both houses of Congress would be mandatory. There is compromise behind most legislation. Better to iron it out first, then get votes. Agreeing to give away the store for a vote is inane. It can change the whole focus of the bill.Rotation of journalists observing the workings of Oval Office. Any meeting (not including those with sensitive or classified) would include a journalist. Transparency.Addition of a scientist to the cabinet. We are seeing science make immense discoveries and technology change daily. There must be people that understand and can communicate it to the rest of the cabinet, Congress, etc.Net neutrality.Executive order on day one to explore means of reversing Citizens United.Limit the number of people going on overseas trips on taxpayer dime. There is no reason for many of the people that crowd onto Air Force One and Two. Advisers and journalists only. My husband for official dinners abroad, but not every trip. Tax dollars are not unlimited.Put greater emphasis on diplomacy instead of military might.

In the US and in Canada, the construction won’t start until at least 85% of the units are sold, but in China, selling can’t start until 85% of the construction is completed - plus in China the buyer does their own interior finishes.So in the US and Canada, the moment construction finishes, buyer would need to move in because the builder has a mandatory “closing date”, and if the owner fails to provide payment in full, he/she would be considered to have forfeited their purchase (exceptions apply but in general it’s considered as forfeit).In China, once construction completes, the builder will then put the units to the market, it’ll take sometime to sell all the units, and once the units are transferred to the buyers, a typical Chinese buyer usually spent at least 1 year to complete the interior work, and ANOTHER 6 MONTHS - A YEAR TO VENTILATE THE UNITS (the Chinese are absolutely obsessed about ventilation newly renovated homes for at least six months).So you see, the way China build high rise residential would require almost two years for anyone to really move in, even if they buy those units at the earliest time possible.That adds to the sheer population of China, creates the illusion of “ghost cities”.
