PDF Editor FAQ

I m soo confused. I dnt understand that how should I start my preparation for CSIR net exam? I don't have any book, no guidance. I try to start from YouTube channels and Google but I DNT get any path and solution for it. Plz guide me personally 😔.

▶▶ The original question was about CSIR NET preparation in the Life Sciences subject, but you can apply a similar strategy on other CSIR NET subjects as well.CSIR NET is not at all difficult if you are sincere about your preparation!I have qualified CSIR NET JRF (Life Sc) in December 2019, so here I am sharing the strategy which I have followed :Download the syllabus from the website.Mark the units you are strong in. Life Sciences syllabus has 13 units.Find the last 10 question papers. Go through every paper. See if you can solve them with your current knowledge.Note down the topics that you couldn’t solve. Go back to the syllabus and mark these topics in a different colour.Prepare your weak topics first.Keep 1.5 hours every day for revising the previous day’s work. It might seem boring/unnecessary at first, but once you have completed 50% of the syllabus, you will know why I'm stressing on this one.Practice questions from previous years question papers. You can also buy Pathfinder’s MCQ book as well. No need to buy a lot of books for practice. Stick to old question papers and Pathfinder.Study, Revise, Practise. Repeat. You should enroll in an online mock test series. NET is being conducted online nowadays, so you must get used to the online mode of exam during your preparation itself.Prepare at least 8–10 units thoroughly. Judging from recent question patterns, anything less will not work as questions are being combined from more than one unit. When you attempt the mock tests, keep your aim high. Try to consistently score above 140 out of 200. This way, you can be confident that you will succeed in the main exam.Don't study anything new in the last month before the exam. Concentrate solely on practice and revision.▶ Scoring Units (direct questions; fewer chances of negative score) :Unit 2- Cellular Organization, Unit 4- Cell Communication and Cell Signaling, Unit 5- Developmental Biology, Unit 6- Plant Physiology, Unit 9- Diversity, Unit 10- Ecology, Unit 11- Evolution.try to attempt maximum questions from these units in the exam.▶ Important units (MUST prepare these) :Unit 1- Molecules and their Interaction Relevant to Biology, Unit 2- Cellular Organization, Unit 3- Fundamental Processes, Unit 4- Cell Communication and Cell Signaling, Unit 8- Inheritance Biology, Unit 13- Methods in biology.questions are merged from many units together, so you will need these concepts to solve questions from other units.▶ Question selection in the exam :in part C, you have to answer only 25 out of 75 questions. So you have to select these 25 questions strategically.go for match the columns first > then graphical questions > then statement combination questions > then single option type questions.and as I’ve said earlier, attempt maximum questions from the Scoring Units.biochemistry and molecular biology questions are sometimes twisted. Avoid them unless you are 101% confident. Thank me later.▶ Part A :Preparing for the CSIR NET part A is easy!If you analyse the 10 previous question papers, you’ll find that the questions are mainly asked from the following topics:time and work, time and distance, profit & loss, probability, basic geometry, mensuration (area, perimeter, surface area, volume),statistics (mean, median, mode, SD, SE),logical reasoning, number series, alphabet series,Venn diagrams, graphical analysis, blood relations,non-verbal reasoning, and so on…you should buy a general aptitude book and devote half an hour to 1 hour every day for practising the questions.also, solve the questions from previous 10 question papers to get an idea about the questions asked.with a little practise, you can easily score above 20 marks in part A.part A can save you if you mess up in part B and C▶ Books :Some must-have books that are needed for CSIR NET Life Sciences are :Biochemistry - Lehninger, Voet & VoetCell Biology, Cell Signaling - Bruce Alberts, PathfinderImmunology - Kuby, PathfinderMolecular Biology - Watson, iGenetics by Russell, Lewin’s GenesDevelopmental Biology - GilbertPlant Physiology - Taiz & Zeiger, PathfinderAnimal Physiology - Guyton, PathfinderGenetics - Klug and CummingsDiversity, Ecology - PathfinderEvolution - Veer Bala Rastogi, PathfinderMethods in Biology - Primrose & Twyman, Wilson & Walker, Pathfinder.NOTE :One common question which is asked by everyone : Is Pathfinder enough? My answer is : Are your basic concepts clear? Then the answer is Yes, Pathfinder is an excellent book for revising what you already know. But if your concepts are weak, i.e if you struggle with part C, then no, Pathfinder won’t help you. You need to read from the original textbooks (the ones mentioned above) first.Anything else you can ask in the comments.Hope my strategy leads you to your dreams! All the best! :-)..✍ Mystic ❤️

What makes Capt. Vikram Batra the most celebrated officer in recent times?

The thing is, comparing matyrs and questions like “ who was braver” are illogical. It really doesn't matter how one attained matyrdom.Having said that, Capt Batra is indeed better known among the Kargil War heros. And your question is, why?A son of two school teachers, Capt Vikram Batra had a pretty normal childhood, without much luxuries in a pre liberalization India. A hardcore aspirant from his young teenage years, he tried his hand in cracking NDA 2 times, couldn't do it. He joined NCC meanwhile. And finally, after 1–2 attempts, he cracked CDS while undergoing his MA. Because of such a seemingly average profile pre commissioning, on a deep subconscious level, many aspirants identify and relate themselves with Capt Batra.Pic- Capt Batra in his NCC Uniform.Again, alongwith his joining instructions for IMA, Capt Batra also had an acceptance letter from Indian Oil to join their merchant navy fleet as an officer. Despite merchant Navy being the more lucrative option, Capt Batra chose to join indian army. Given the fact that a merchant navy officer earns almost 3/4th more the money earned by an officer, Capt Batra made a gutsy decision which not many would have made. Years later, to pay tribute to Capt Batra's decision, Indian Oil featured him in their print advertisement campaign.Pic - The print ad by Indian Oil which featured Capt batra.Captain Batra, as an officer was outstanding, by all accounts. He had finished his Commando Course with an instructor grading and before the Kargil War had seen combat action in Sopore. As most enthusiasts will be aware of, in Kargil war, Capt Batra's unit 13 Jammuand Kashmir Rifles was firstly given the task to clear point 5140. The assault was to be made by two teams - B team led by Capt SS Jamwal was to do a frontal attack which incurred substantial casualties, while simultaneously Capt Batra's team was to attack from the rear, mainly to achieve stealth and to cut the enemy's withdrawal routes - however, the rear assault involved a treacherous climb up the slope. Capt Batra went ahead with the climb. Just before reaching the peak, the pakis discovered Capt Batra's team and proceeded to fire upon them. Undaunted, Capt Batra pressed ahead and conquered point 5140 after a messy hand to hand combat, in the process silencing Pakistani MMGs which were wrecking havoc on Capt jamwals team, saving them from further casualties. After having conquered the peak, Captain Batra radioed his Co, Col YK Joshi, ” Yeh Dil Maange More” which was the pre decided codename for a successful conquest. After the victorious assault of Point 5140, Capt Batra gave his now famous interview to NDTV's Barkha Dutt. Kargil war was the first war to be covered extensively by electronic and TV media. This interview of Capt Batra, in which he so charismatically described the assault of point 5140 was broadcasted into millions of TV sets in India, winning him the respect and hearts of millions of Indians. This interview not only made Barkha Dutt's career but also made Capt Batra the de facto poster boy of Kargil War. Maybe because of this interview, Captain Batra is more well known than his contemporaries.Pic -Capt Vikram Batra during his interview. After the sucessful assault of Point 5140, Lt Batra was given an acting promotion to Captain on the battlefield. What could be a greater honour? To be promoted on the battlefield itself? This was a testament to Capt Batra's skill, courage and professionalism in his workplace - the battlefield. Now, after the assault of point 5140, 13th Jammu and Kashmir Rifles was given the task to clear Point 4875. Capt Batra meanwhile was down with high fever and did not participate in the initial assault. The assault was somewhat disastrous- The assault team ran into a lot of problems and heavy casualties were incurred. Capt Batra was monitoring the situation from the command post. Seeing the dire situation, he went up to his CO and requested his permission to join the battle with a reinforcement team. Given Capt Batra's high fever, the Co, Col YK Joshi was reluctant but seeing a rare determination in Capt Batra's eyes he couldn't stop himself but give Captain Batra the go ahead. So, accompanied with high fever, Captain Batra went out with reinforcement squad to relive the original assault team. This was to be his final battle. After a treacherous climb, Capt Batra reached the site of battle. He motivated his men, and led a counter attack quite sucessfully. However, in this counterattack, Capt Batra was injured, but still- pressed ahead for more.Suddenly, Capt Batra's hawk eyes noticed a grievously injured young soldier barely saving himself from enemy MMG fire. The young soldier would not have not been able to hold on for much longer.Capt Batra turned to his Platoon commander, Subedar Raghunath Singh and told him “Aap and me milke unko evacuate karenge”.Just as Subedar Raghunath Singh was proceeding for evacuation, Capt Batra held him back, with “Raghunath tu baal bacchedaar hai, piche hatt ja, mei evacuate karunga, tum cover fire do ( Raghunath, you have a family with kids, step back, I'll do the evacuation, you will be doing the cover firing)”.Imagine a young officer, himself grievously injured, risking his own life to save the life of his soldier. That's Captain Vikram Batra for you.Captain Vikram Batra, under Subedar Raghunath's cover firing dashed to the young soldier and dragged him back to safety. However, in the process, Capt Batra was mortally injured. His last last words were “Jai mata di”.Captain Vikram Batra, the young officer who had risen from humble beginings and had a bright future in the army had given up his life fighting for his country, while being seriously ill. He had attained matyrdom while saving the life of a fellow soldier. I doubt if it's everyone's cup of tea to risk his life under fire to save another life, when one has loving parents, a twin brother and an elder sister and a loving girlfriend to return to.And your question was, Why's Captain Vikram Batra so celebrated?

Which is the best handheld game worth buying in Nigeria in 2018?

You can get the Vita but you will find out that getting games on that console is a bit tricky, boys at the market (ikeja, alaba) will tell you 10k for 4 games like FIFA, God of war, mortal Kombat and Unit 13. So if you're comfortable shelling upwards of 4 to 6 thousand per game so be it.The advantage of the Vita is the remote play and sync with PS3 and PS4. If you have one of these consoles a Vita is a nice option to go along.Personally I'd recommend you get a psp 2000 as it's firmware has various hacks on it and there is a lot of free games to play, websites like Wololo.net - PS4, PS Vita, Nintendo Switch, 3DS & PSP Programming, Security and Homebrews will put you through.
