People become CA after clearing Law papers in all levels of CA. But how many CAs do actually know to interpret the Law? We are taught to interpret statutes as a separate chapter in CA Final Law paper but most of us don't even know its practical application. Further, many CA freshers don’t even know how to decode a student notification published at ICAI website, forget about GST circulars!Some CAs have done their Articleship in Big 4 or the top CA firms in India while the rests did from the unbranded CA firms. Please go and check how many CAs actually know to audit. Most of us don't even know what is control testing. Many CAs conduct Audits only by Test of Details.Why are CAs taught Taxation by the ICAI when we can't have the right to represent our clients in the courts? CAs generally know more on Indian Taxation regime than the Lawyers but still, we are not allowed to practise in the courts.Why does ICAI take exams in the paper-pen mode while we have to work on the computer throughout our career?Oh, come on Uncle! humlog CA hai bhai, free ka tax consultant nahi, ki aap din raat apne Taxation matters leke bug karoge humhe.God!CAs are not Financial Advisors. Clients log, aap apne practising CAs ke paas financial planning karwane ke liye please maat jaya karo. Humlog ka field wo hai hi nahi.Not only the clients are mostly unprofessional in unbranded CA firms, but even the partners too. Articles log ke nak me dum majorly unbranded firms ke practising CAs hi karte hai.I wonder why people address practising CAs as Advocates sometimes. Hum Vakil nahi hai Bh******, Chartered Accountant hai. Aur haa, humhe kripya karke ‘Charted Accountent’ maat boliyo.I wonder why people ask kaunse college se CA karrahe ho? Aur ha, ye maat pucha karo ki CA kitne saal ke course hai. Kaan paak chuka hai ye sunte sunte.Log soch lete hai yeh CA hai, crores me kamaata hoga. The fact is that if a fresher CA starts his/her career afer becoming CA writing n number of attempts, the CTC is something which can’t even be proudly shared with the people.Even after CA, stiff competition has to be faced with B.Tech (IT)s ( we don't know how to do programming), MBAs (humhe khudko present karna ghanta aata hai) and CFAs (Hum sochte hai SFM humhe Finance ka pura duniya samjha diya hai).Log sochte hai yeh CA hai, boring hoga insaan. Typecast maat kiya karo Uncle. Hum bhi insaan hai.Itna ladhai karke CA banne ke baad jab koi puchta hai “Kitna attempt me clear kiye Aap?” It feels like ek danda leke usse mar mar ke thanda kar du.I wonder when our beloved ICAI will seriously revise our course and make it aligned with the International pattern. Chees e memorise karake kya faida jab real life me sab kuch internet se mil jata hai?After becoming a CA, Upps! I mean after clearing CA Final exam, people rush for changing their names on their social media accounts. Are bhai! Professional Ethics bina padhe CA kaise ban gaye? It goes like this, “Hello folks, I am Arushi Sharma. I have recently cleared my CA Final exams. I am extremely passionate about working on Taxation. I want to make my career in GST. Please share any relevant openings in comments or pm me.” Why girl? why will someone contact you? You have not even talked about any instance where you have showed your passion in Taxation.If you scroll your Linkedin wall for some more time after CA final results are declared, you will find similar posts like Arushi Sharma. Sab ek dusre ka copy karta rahta hai. Come on! Hello, Mr/Miss freshly qualified CA finalist, why will someone hire you when you don’t even know how to pitch yourself to the recruiters?On clearing CA final exams after n number of attempts, when someone looks for a job as a fresher, job seeking feels like a treasure hunt. Many HR girls don’t even consider 3 years of rigorous Articleship as full-time work experience. Come on! B**** please, the only difference between a full-time job and CA internship is that the former gets salary p.m where the latter gets a relatively lower stipend per month or per quarter (sometimes Articles don’t even get stipends).

There are many options to consider after engineering:Give gate if you wish to study more. Benefits of giving gate are you will get a stipend around 10–12k, also you could land up in PSU.Take a job, the more early you start, more experience you will gain, in India syllabus is stale, you will get to know new technologies.Give GRE and TOEFL if considering studying MS in foreign countries, comparatively study environment is practical based also you could develop interest in subject. Also packages offered in foreign countries are much good than India.Consider doing business or starting a start upp, if you have promising idea and you believe in it. Start up experience counts for B school if you wish to perceive further any time in future.If you wish to change your field would proceed further with change but change comes with number of obstacles. Be ready to face it. Have courage and be confident about yourself once changed your mind, there's no looking back and regretting.
