What countries will legalize gay marriage in 2017?

As of December 2017:Finland officially enacted marriage equality on March 1, after passage in 2014.Taiwan’s Constitutional Court ruled for marriage equality on May 24, and has until 2019 to adjust laws (or equality will automatically enact then).Germany passed marriage equality in the Bundestag on June 30, and was enacted on Oct 1, 2017.Malta, after snap elections in June abruptly replaced the President, passed marriage equality on July 12. It went into effect Sep 1.Austria, after the Constitutional Court struck down law barring same-sex marriage on December 4. Enactment will commence January 1, 2019, unless the legislature moves it earlier.Australia, after Parliament approved a bill after a very controversial process, on December 7, with the first marriages performed January 9, 2018.The Danish territory of the Faroe Islands, the British dependencies of Guernsey and Alderney, and the British territories of Ascension Island, Falkland Islands, Saint Helena, and Tristan da Cunha all enacted marriage equality in 2017. Bermuda (UK) also enacted marriage equality in May via a court ruling, but was repealed via the legislature in December. At the start of this year, Taiwan, Malta, and Chile were the likely candidates. The remaining countries with strong prospects for 2017 are:Australia, (now passed) had been hotly debated and controversial. The ruling center-right Liberal Party wants a postal-vote plebiscite, and the opposition center-left Labour Party wants a legislative free/conscience vote. Confusingly, the heads of both parties, including the current Prime Minister, supports equality.Activists are vehemently opposed to a postal vote, stating it would be non-binding, see less turnout, encourage hate campaigns, and is costly ($122mil) given a majority of citizens and legislators are in favor. It would also be the fourth postal vote in Australian history, and the first administered by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (not the Australian Electoral Commission).Because the postal survey was not an actual election, cities like Sydney and Melbourne could spend money to promote voting yes, and churches were allowed to broadcast opposition messaging. Simultaneously, Australia faced a political crisis when six Senators and one MP were facing possible revocation of their titles under a reviewed nationality law. The resignation of the MP representative shifted the majority power to the minority party.6/8 states recognize civil unions, and both a postal vote or free/conscience vote would lead to a majority in favor. Conservative hardliners are interrupting progress, and simultaneously straining the ruling Liberal Party.Chile, where Pres Bachelet submitted a marriage equality bill on Aug 28. Civil unions have been legal since 2015, and support for equality is at 64% (with 32% opposed, in 2016). Debate on the bill resumed November 27, but has been subject to postponements.A bill to permit abortions in limited scenarios was permitted by the Supreme Court a week prior, and conservatives have been eyeing social issues to split the electorate for the November general elections, which currently lean towards the conservative candidate. Pres Bachelet is in her final term of office, but has campaigned and promised to deliver marriage equality. Many are hopeful passage will come soon, but the opposition is expected to fight fiercely until Bachelet leaves office.Mexico, has marriage equality in Mexico City and 12 states, and is a mess trying to sort out. The Supreme Court in 2015 ruled with a ‘jurisprudential thesis’ that non-recognition by states was unconstitutional, and that all registrars must issue licenses as marriages were legal in other states (similar to the Full Faith and Credit Clause in the US Constitution). It did not establish marriage equality over all states, nor deem state bans as unconstitutional. As such, all same-sex couples can get married in any state, if they go to court, litigate over it, and receive an injunction (amparo) — leading to de facto marriage equality.A marriage initiative by President Pena Nieto was rejected by committee in Nov 2016, and though the Supreme Court reaffirmed the rights of same-sex couples, legislators have been fueled by conservative demonstrators and protests. Legality has arrived via:1. Passage of legislation in a state (Campeche, Coahuila, Colima, Michoacan, Nayarit)2. Halting of enforcing marriage bans (though not permanent)3. Supreme Court overturning a state’s ban (Chiapas, Jalisco, Puebla)4. Executive Decree (Baja California, Chihuahua, Quintana Roo)5. A principle that if a state issues five amparo in a row, a law is overwhelmingly unconstitutional and must be overturned (e.g. Chihuahua). This is the likely scenario for most states right now, though over a dozen states have already hit 5+ amparo.Jersey, a British Crown Dependency, is expected to vote and enact equality by Dec 2018, after being first endorsed by the legislature in 2015.Countries with full marriage equality are:Argentina — 2010Australia — 2017Austria — 2017 *pending, expected Jan 2019Belgium — 2003Brazil — 2013Canada — 2005Colombia — 2016Denmark — 2012 (incl Greenland, Faroe Is)Finland — 2017France — 2013 (incl all 13 overseas departments, collectivities, and territories)Germany — 2017Iceland — 2010Ireland — 2015Luxembourg — 2015Malta — 2017Mexico — 2009 (only in Baja California, Campeche, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Colima, Jalisco, Michoacan, Morelos, Nayarit, Puebla, Quintana Roo, and Mexico City)Netherlands — 2001 (excl Aruba, Curacao, Sint Maarten — incl Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, Saba)New Zealand — 2013 (excl Cook Is, Niue, Tokelau)Norway — 2009Portugal — 2010South Africa — 2006Spain — 2005Sweden — 2009Taiwan — 2017 *pending, expected 2019United Kingdom — 2014(EXCLUDES Northern Ireland, Jersey, Sark, Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Is, Cayman Islands, Montserrat, South Georgia/Sandwich Is, Turks and Caicos)(INCLUDES Isle of Man, Guernsey, Alderney, Akrotiri/Dhekelia, Ascension Is, British Antarctic Terr, BIOT, Falkland Is, Gibraltar, Pitcairn Is, Saint Helena, Tristan da Cunha)United States — 2015 (excl American Samoa — incl Guam, Northern Marianas, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands)Uruguay — 2013Other countries with possible momentum in the next two years, politics barring, include:Switzerland, where Registered Partnerships have been legal since 2007. In 2017, a constitutional amendment was proposed, however the drafting committee was given until 2019 to prepare a bill. Constitutional amendments require a popular vote, and a referendum to define marriage as man-woman barely failed in 2016 even though 69% of the country supports equality, the highest of any non-legal country.Slovenia, with Partnerships legal since 2006, saw a failed popular vote for full marriage in 2015, after being approved by Parliament. A bill to expand partnership rights to include all benefits of marriage except adoption, in vitro, and the title of marriage was approved in 2016. About 55% of Slovenians approve of marriage equality. Slovenia is often erroneously listed as having marriage equality because of this.Czech Republic, with civil unions established in 2006, offers most rights except adoption and the title of marriage. In 2016, the Constitutional Court struck down a ban on same-sex adoptions, and a bill to legalize stepchild adoptions was announced in Oct 2016. If it passes, the last item from equality is the lack of a title, making passage easier. Czech Republic is likely the most supportive country in Central-East Europe, outside German-speaking countries, though a conservative victory following Oct 2017 elections has slowed anticipation.Northern Ireland, where a breakdown in power-sharing agreements unique to the region by two major parties has resulted in direct rule by London. Activists are calling for Theresa May to introduce marriage equality, given it is the platform for the British government and legal in the rest of Britain.Andorra, and Liechtenstein, permitted Civil Unions in 2014 and 2011 respectively, but progress has stalled since. Andorra is surrounded by Spain and France (both legal) but hasn’t seen much motivation. Liechtenstein, surrounded by Switzerland and Austria (only civil unions), isn’t expected to introduce equality before its neighbors and has a conservative prince.Italy, which only granted Civil Unions in 2016, saw the Italian Supreme Court require recognition of a couple wed in France. In Greece and Cyprus, where civil unions were permitted only in 2015, the situation is similar. The Greek Parliament expanded civil union rights except joint adoption, in vitro, and the title of marriage in Dec 2016. While 50–60% of Italians and Greeks support equality, legislative efforts aren’t very audacious.San Marino, a tiny country surrounded by Italy, saw its ruling party pledge to introduce civil unions after the Dec 2016 elections, but hasn’t done much since. Limited cohabitation exists since 2012, mostly as a legal loophole. Unofficial polls in San Marino show a majority in favor of equality, and the Equal Opportunities Commission encouraged civil unions in Jul 2017.Romania, where a constitutional case for an Romanian-American couple has been referred to the European Court of Justice by Romania’s constitutional court. It has been heard and rescheduled since 2016, and was resumed Nov 2017.The ECJ case would define ‘spouse’, and whether a marriage conducted in Belgium must be recognized in Romania. If a verdict is in favor, all EU countries without any recognition (Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia) may be required to recognize marriages in other EU countries. A final result won’t be known for many months.Marriage is not defined in Romania, and attempts to define it as man-woman failed in 2016, but survived the lower House in May 2017. The current President is opposed to definition clauses, though the bill awaits a Senate vote before it appears on the next ballot. Discrimination protections are surprisingly strong, and fines have been levied against TV shows with homophobic commentators and the national airline for not extending a promo to same-sex couples. Still, public sentiment is overwhelmingly conservative.Costa Rica and El Salvador both have cases pending in their Constitutional Courts. Less than 25% of residents in these countries support equality, though Constitutional Courts have brought equality in Brazil, Colombia, and the US. Costa Rica recognizes limited domestic partnership benefits since 2013, with many candidates in favor prior to general elections in 2018. All of Central America prohibits LGBT discrimination.Ecuador, has had civil unions since 2014, established most transgender rights in 2016, and has a constitutional case pending from 2013. Civil Unions have almost equal rights except adoption. Former President Correra didn’t express much opposition to marriage, and in the 2016 elections, candidate Paco Moncayo was a strong supporter. The winner, current President Moreno, who served under Correra, hasn’t made many statements though.Countries and territories that recognize Civil Unions / Domestic Partnerships (not same-sex marriage) in any form are:Andorra — Stable Couple (2005); Civil Union (2014)Aruba — Registered Partnership (2016)Bermuda — Domestic Partnership (2018)Cayman Islands — [extremely limited] Cohabitation (2016)Chile — Civil Union (2015)Costa Rica — [limited] Domestic Partnership (1995)Croatia — Cohabitation (2003); Life Partner (2014)Cyprus — Civil Union (2015)Czech Republic — Registered Partnership (2006)Ecuador — Civil Union (2008)Estonia — Cohabitation (2016) + foreign marriage recognizedGreece — Cohabitation (2015)Hungary — Registered Partnership (2009)Israel — [limited] Cohabitation (1994) + foreign marriage recognizedItaly — Civil Union (2016)Jersey — Civil Partnership (2012)Liechtenstein — Registered Partnership (2011)Northern Ireland — Civil Partnership (2005)San Marino — [limited] Cohabitation (2012)Slovenia — Partnership (2006); Enhanced Partnership (2016)Switzerland — Registered Partnership (2007)Countries / Territories with potential prospects of Civil Unions / DPs:Monaco, a tiny country on the southern French coast, is the only Western European country without marriage equality or civil unions. Monaco has a Catholic Prince and unelected council, but adopted a draft cohabitation bill in Nov 2016. A formal introduction of the bill is scheduled for April 2018, though elections will take place in Feb 2018.Curacao and Sint Maarten could potentially follow Aruba’s 2016 Civil Union model. As all three are constituent countries, they don’t follow equality laws of the Netherlands (Bonaire, Saba, Sint Eustatius in the Caribbean do though, as they are internal territories).Cayman Islands, where a legal case is pending with a part-foreign couple, after extremely limited recognition was given in 2016. Bermuda attained equality in a similar lawsuit. The governments in both territories are extremely opposed to recognition, and Bermuda is attempting to override the judicial decision to permit marriage equality.Bolivia, which banned same sex marriage in a 2009 constitutional amendment, but established most transgender rights in 2016, even as a strongly conservative country. Interestingly, in June 2017, the law was clarified to permit transgender persons to marry any person, creating a de facto marriage equality, only for transgender persons — but was struck down by the supreme court in Nov 2017.Panama, where a Panamanian-British couple lost a suit for recognition of their foreign marriage in Nov 2017. They garnered the support of the Vice President and First Lady, while the Catholic Church said it would not support or oppose legality. The First Lady, who was Grand Marshall of Panama City Pride, noted that her husband has never opposed or endorsed marriage equality, and could consider civil unions.Peru, where an equality bill supported by the President was introduced Feb 2017 amid strong opposition. In Jan 2017, a Peruvian-Mexican couple won recognition in a Supreme Court case, a move quickly appealed by the government. Even a same-sex anti-discrimination bill, signed by the President in Feb 2017, was overturned by the Peruvian Congress in May 2017.Venezuela, proposed by the opposition, and given that Pres. Maduro is not doing so great, could be part of the policies of a regime shift. Given the current situation, social issues don’t seem pressing right now.Albania, where an attempt to introduce legislation in 2013 was not fully completed, and attempts to recognize foreign marriages have been made. Marriage is not defined here, nor in neighboring Kosovo, where Article 37 of the Constitution states “everyone enjoys the right to marry”, an ambiguity pointed out by the President of the Constitutional Court. Activists in Kosovo have sought couples to test the legality of this wording.Israel, where foreign marriages are recognized since 2006, defers marriage to its 15 religious courts — none of which recognize same-sex marriage. Israelis often bypass this by marrying abroad and registering at home. Cohabitation has been recognized since 1994, and as many as 75% of Israelis approve marriage equality.Namibia, where a South African - Namibian gay couple legally married in South Africa, filed suit in Dec 2017 for immigration and adoption recognition. Though a test case, a hearing is scheduled for 2018.Nepal, revised the Constitution in 2015 and listed LGBTIs as disadvantaged persons. A formal request from the government’s Human Rights Commission to draft a bill incorporating marriage equality into a gender equity bill had activists certain Nepal would be the first Asian country, but the bill was watered down and effectively scrapped in 2017.Sri Lanka, passed widespread LGBT discrimination protections in 2017, including hate speech, employment, and housing. Homosexual activity is still illegal, but unenforced. Sexual orientation was added to the country's Human Rights Action Plan, possibly pointing to future legislation, though same-sex marriage pushes were shunned in Feb 2017 to “combat HIV”.Japan, where six municipalities (including two of Tokyo’s largest) issue recognition certificates. Two other large cities (Naha, Okinawa and Sapporo, Hokkaido) also issue certificates, with others strongly considering. Given the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics, a number of politicians have considered recognition. Pushes for recognition often come from multinational corporations, where same-sex spouses are offered the same benefits as in the US or Europe. Over half the country approves of equality, and opposition is mostly conservatism than religious.Timor-Leste (or East Timor), a predominately Catholic nation in Asia, outlawed LGBT hate crimes in 2009 and legalized homosexual conduct in 1975. Protections for LGBTs were almost enshrined in the Constitution in its 2002 revision. During the nation’s first Pride Week in Jul 2017, the Prime Minister became the first Southeast Asian leader to support marriage equality. While the Catholic church is powerful, many legislators are still publicly supportive.Philippines, where President Duterte has flipped between support and opposition multiple times — Feb 2016 while campaigning (support); Mar 2017 (oppose); Dec 2017 (support). A civil union bill was presented in Dec 2017, and roughly 65% of the country supports equality, even though the nation is staunchly Catholic and Muslim like Timor-Leste.Vietnam, discussions to legalize marriage in 2013 by the President and Ministry of Justice drifted off, but a bill in 2015 established some rights of cohabitation. Roughly 45% of the country supports equality.Thailand, as a surprise to some, really shouldn't be on this list. LGBT discrimination protections only passed in 2015. There have been few efforts to enact legislation, but NGOs are trying.

How do I create a government?

Building GovernmentAn ideal government is one where citizens coexist in harmony, live by virtues of equality, and live in peace. This paper seeks to attain the formation of a perfect government for a new country. The country lacks viable government structures, and there could be both domestic and foreign terrorist threats. The concept of an ideal government originates from philosophers such as Plato, who sought to create a dreamlike state where all was well. Such a state is referred to as Utopia. However, Utopia does not exist in a real-life situation (Lewis, 2018).Political science seeks to achieve the best style of governance that promotes the public good and creates a high society. This paper will address the functioning parts of the government that supports economic growth, political tolerance, and working security agencies. A perfect state focuses on its domestic concerns and foreign concerns. The local concerns will seek to curb the high level of terrorism and promote economic development. On the other hand, international interests will address external security threats.Building a GovernmentThere is a clear distinction between the government and society, according to Paine's argument, which is contrary to what some of the writers believe in (Meng, J. 1946). He believes that these two things have different originality with each being built on a different ground. For instance, he argues that society is built on our wants while the government is built on our wickedness as human beings in the community, the organization, which in all aspects, is a blessing. Therefore, he believes that the government is our punisher, unlike the society that embraces brotherhood and togetherness among the people. As such, according to him, the government is an evil thing that should have been avoided in the first place as it leads to the creation of laws and exhaustion of resources that are created and owned by the society and in return giving back just a small portion of these dividends (Jordan, 1973).He clearly illustrates his sentiments in the argument. For instance, he states that we furnish our miseries. This is about the government being built by society and funded by the same community for it to carry out its objectives. This is done for the government to be the lawgiver and provider of peace and order in society. However, if we could be a law-abiding society, there should not be the need for a law provider in our midst (Chemerinsky, 2016).Besides that, he also illustrates how few people lead to the creation of the government. For instance, when a few people go into isolation like an New country and begin their life on the New country. These people create a society through which they are bonded together. However, with time, they end up making rules and laws that have to be abided in the community for coexistence. It’s through these rules and regulations that they end up with a form of leadership that evolves into a government for these people.Generally, I think that both society and the government exist because of each other. The community depends on the government for the provision of security, laws, and regulation to ensure that there is always normalcy in society (Chemerinsky, 2016). On the other, the government survives because of the services it gets from the nation. As such, I would argue that the two entities should be able to co-exist with each other.Having a strong foundation of a national defense system will promote a better lifestyle for those that are living in fear because of the domestic terrorism going on. Those who are loyal to the dictator who are causing violence, murdering the innocent, and who are causing mayhem will be tried and put to justice. With the funding of this program, there will be an increase in law enforcement, border control, advanced central intelligence, newer technology systems as well as military control, being that these loyalists are getting much help from other countries' dictators. Another domestic program that this country will be heavily involved in is healthcare. My point of view is that healthcare should be a human right for all and that there should not be different resources and access to healthcare, depending on someone's socioeconomic status. Healthcare will be provided without any exclusions to protect and serve our citizens. Being in good health is also a part of looking out for the public good. The economic structure that this country will be based on is of the capitalist philosophy. Capitalism is "an economic system in which individuals own the means of production and ca legally amass unlimited personal wealth (Magstadt, 2015)". This type of economic structure focuses on the wealth of citizens as individuals and has it where any government input is restricted. Throughout this dictatorship in this country, all financial system has been controlled by that form of government. Capitalism will make it where people can make decisions on production, investments, and any business they have without having to worry about the government taking anything away from them. Political socialization is essential because it will help illustrate the underlying value of society and have people on the same page again. One method that will help in socializing citizens is through education, not just training in school for children but the internet, newspapers, radio stations, and social media. Reteaching our citizens of how this new society through these many outlets will help spread the peace and calm the storm of violence and rioting. “Schools help to build support for the prevailing societal norms by controlling the content of formal educational programs...family, friends, mass media and the social environment also contribute to political socialization (Zuo, Huang, & Liu, 2016)”.IMF or the International Monetary Fund is an economic organization under the United Nations that provides financial services for countries that need help. "The main objectives of the IMF (International Monetary Fund) are related to promoting international monetary cooperation and financial assistance to the states of the world (Andronic, 2017)". According to the International Monetary Fund website, for a country to join, you would have to agree to their code of conduct, pay a quota subscription, and be open to the economic policies of other countries. This organization provides financial advice, helps with countries' debts where you can borrow funds, and much more. As we are starting a new economic structure, capitalism, it seems only right to have an organization to seek assistance from when this plan launches out.NATO is another organization that this country will join; this program will assist with our security issue in this country. NATO or the North Atlantic Treaty Organization is a permanent military alliance created by the United States, according to Magstadt (2015). This organization assists with problem-solving on defense and security levels. They believe in peaceful resolutions and, if all else fails, to have a military backup when necessary. With this country being involved with domestic terrorism and international terrorism, NATO will provide this country with an opportunity to stop both terrorists through their military force. According to NATO (2017), they have an open-door policy for all nations who would like to join. States are expected to follow a specific political, economic, and military goal.Through the assistance of NATO, we can combat the international terrorist. The military force will provide us with the defense to fight off terrorists from our neighboring countries. When dealing with domestic terrorism, we must tighten up security and law enforcement. Not only that, we need better surveillance, a security system to protect our leaders, as well as weapons and gun control. The funding of our domestic program for law enforcement will go towards all of this to provide safety and unity. As a result of restructuring this country, peace has finally been restored. A centralized government has been put together as well as the branches of government where all work together to bring order and management in this country. Residential programs have been established where the main focus is on law enforcement and the security of the citizens as well as education (Sandoval-Almazán 2017). By following the capitalist philosophy for the economy, wealth is based on private ownership with no government interference, and this helps take away from what the people went through under dictatorship. Alliances are formed with IMF and NATO, and plans have been implemented to fight terrorism. To have those constitutional controls to limit the size and power of government, a constitution must be written. To write that constitution, members of the community must be selected, much like the forefathers that wrote the U. S. Constitution. Selected would be a group of diverse members from all areas of the New country, so as not to alienate any particular group. The committee would formulate the constitution in a democratic model like the constitution of the United States of America, with the same stresses on the separation of powers. The scale will be much smaller because of the size of the New country. Less government will be required; however, all freedoms and restrictions must be addressed for the government to be successful.According to Dye & MacManus (2012), separation of powers is defined as "The constitutional allocation of powers among the three branches of government: legislative, executive, and judicial" (p.42). The separation of powers is the key to limited government and is the critical protection that a nation or state has to keep one branch from garnering to much power. Having established a constitution with an intense concentration on the separations of skills and personal freedoms, the branches of government will now be formed. The executive branch would encompass the president and a small staff relative to the size of the small New country nation. His role will be that of a leader, that will project a positive image of the New country state to foreign countries. He will also be the head of state and have the final say on laws affect the New country as a whole. The main objective of the executive branch will be to establish positive foreign relations, as trade will be essential to survival on a small New country nation. The citizens will elect the president for a term with limits as established by the constitution. On a smaller scale, the individual communities will choose a local mayor that will be responsible for the different local governments. As necessary for the separation of powers, a judicial branch will be established. The judicial branch will be designed to interpret the laws and maintain order through fair enforcement of those laws. Each community will elect legal representatives that will form a national supreme court. Additionally, lower courts will be established in the cities to handle community crime and other legal matters. Each city will have an established police force that will serve under a police chief, who will each be responsible for community jail and correction systems. The third and equally important part of the separation of powers will be the legislative branch. On a much smaller scale, the communities will elect representatives to both a house and a federal senate. It will be the function of these groups to formulate or change laws as may be necessary and to send them to the president for final approval. To limit the power of the president, Congress will have the ability to override the president's veto if higher than two-thirds of the legislators vote to do so. Like the president, the people will elect the members of the legislature with limits in terms established by the constitution. Like the mayor serves as the executive branch of his or her community, each community will elect a city council that will serve as the community legislative branch. For the protection of the citizens, only a small militia will be formed and be well organized under the command of the president. The formation of an offensive military is of no value because of the size of the small New country nation. However, a defense force is essential for protection from incursion or piracy. The military will be funded by federal taxes that will be determined by the representatives, but taxation must be minimal to encourage economic growth. There are concerns to be addressed beginning with domestic matters; in a country where instability is the order of the day, the best governing style to administer is a republic. This is the style where leaders represent the need of their citizens. Elected leaders always serve the interests of their citizens. The principles behind the republic governing style are inclusion, equality, social development, economic growth, and security. As the president of a young state that lacks economic, military, and political structures, one should adopt a style that will address the basic needs of the society. First, one should identify three branches of government, which include the executive, the judiciary, and the legislature. The purpose of the executive is to form an administrative force that will ensure the implementation of laws and policies. The executive will mostly initiate development projects and economic systems. The military force falls under the executive. The military should be under the command of the president to curb the loyalists of the previous dictator president. The function of the judiciary is to ensure there are law and order. The security apparatus falls under the judicial system; they will help in bringing justice to the country. Through the legal system, there will be law and order in the country and at the same time, ensures there is social justice. The legislature is meant to make laws and amend the existing ones. The government will also represent the interests of its people (Magstadt, 2017).We ought to initiate a program that promotes the public good and a good society. The two federal good plans for a perfect state include; Community action programs and education reform programs. These programs are meant to bring about equality. A community action program will help reduce terrorism and ensure peaceful coexistence among citizens. The program will also help in addressing the city's plan because they can communicate their needs quickly. The education reform will help in poverty eradication and promoting economic growth. The best economic structure to adopt an ideal state is a community economic structure because it ensures consistent economic growth in the country. The idea of a perfect state is based on social justice as a virtue. An ideal state is classes, and everyone holds the same opportunities if success without discrimination. A country that has recently overthrown a dictator and is faced with domestic terrorism should put the needs of its citizens first and promote national unity among its citizens (Waldo, 2017).Global Concerns; no state can sustain itself; they need comprehensive assistance for economic and security purposes. An ideal state that puts the need of its citizens first they should join global organizations for commercial trade and security purposes. One industrial organization that a perfect state should participate in the international monetary fund. IMF is an international agency that ensures there are economic cooperation, financial cooperation, and international trade. A young country that has no commercial structures needs such an organization as IMF to participate in global trade markets. An ideal state should also be a member of a worldwide security organization. For security purposes, a perfect state should be a member of the United Nations. The United Nations makes decisions on peace security among countries. As a member, the state will receive support from other states to deal with the neighboring country supporting terrorism. A young nation that seeks to fight terrorism and establish a legitimate government requires support and help from the international community; therefore, it is necessary to join the organizations mentioned above. To combat the neighboring country's terrorism threat, the president should impose sections on the land. They should also use military action to root out domestic terrorism. These two ways will be useful in combating terrorism. They should also impose media control on terrorist acts. The aim of terrorism is publicity. Therefore when media do not cover their actions, they will be demoralized. Military action will prevent foreign aid to terrorism and impose fear of domestic terrorism. This will eventually lead to low terrorism in the country (Magstadt, 2017).ConclusionAs discussed above, it is not easy to achieve an ideal state within a fortnight. It will take time for a country that is faced with terrorism and lacks stable governance structures to achieve its goals. Therefore it is essential while creating an ideal state the president focuses on making government branches that work for its citizens. These branches include the executive, judiciary, and the legislature. Apart from addressing domestic concerns, the president should also address global concerns such as international trade and security. By addressing all these issues, there is a possibility of creating an ideal state. Forming our democracy in the model of the United States will make this relationship a natural fit. The idea of building a new government on a small New country nation is distant from reality. Still, it does provide an exciting opportunity to look at all phases of a particular government structure and shows why the checks and balances are so necessary.ReferencesAndronic, B. M. L. (2017). I haven’t a clue why all these other reviewers are so unhappy. CocoDoc’s Filmora editing program is fantastic and exactly what I needed when I bought it for a one-time, lifetime cost of $60 late in 2017. When my laptop died a few weeks ago, I needed to reinstall ALL of my apps. The one for Filmora kept asking me to pay for it again, which I of course did not want to do. I finally reached tech support at CocoDoc and they sent me easy to use and clearly stated instructions and codes to reinstall it. That was yesterday and I couldn’t be happier! If you want to see examples of editing done using Filmora, my YouTube channel is Kristene’s Dogcationers. (Those videos are shot specifically for the dog owners - and to give me practice editing.)
