Oswald never fired a shot. Carl Elmer Jenkins, a high ranking CIA officer who worked closely with David Sanchez Morales developed a pre-invasion assassination plan for Castro code named PATHFINDER. The plan called for coordinated sniper fire into an open air vehicle, most likely a jeep. They were to ambush Castro on his way to either the Dupont or Hemmingway estates near Havana that Castro often stayed at. They selected an experienced, fanatic group of Anti-Castro Cubans for the job and were specifically led by William ‘Rip’ Robertson (Johnny Roselli providing funding, Jenkins/Morales as program leaders). In 1961 they trained in Guatemala, Mexico, and Belle Chasse Louisiana. The plan was shelved, and the invasion was severely cut back, resulting in the disastrous Bay of Pigs Invasion. Raids continued, culminating in the Cuban Missile Crisis. CIA legend and ZRRIFLE chief William King Harvey was reassigned and demoted for his actions during the Missile Crisis.In 1963 PATHFINDER was brought off the shelf for the AMWORLD program. Kennedy, stunned by the severity of the Missile Crisis, green lit AMWORLD as a tightened, highly controlled plan to eliminate Castro, but also started working secret back channel negotiations with Castro for peace. One way or another the Cuba problem was to be solved. When the Joint Chiefs and CIA found out about Kennedy's negotiations with the Soviets and Castro the PATHFINDER team/plan was redirected at Kennedy.The CIA/ASCI specifically modeled elements of AMWORLD after the German’s VALKYRIE plan to kill Hitler: a real plan to kill Castro, a mole hunt in Mexico City embassies, Military Intelligence/Army Reserve monitoring Cubans on the mainland, a patsy to pin it on, crime scene control, media control of the aftermath, and compromised public officials who can not investigate. JFK signs off on a mission that is eventually redirected on him.Under Morales and Jenkins, Johnny Roselli and Rip Robertson’s team of cubans continued training for PATHFINDER at Elliot Key in Florida, specifically at an isolated place called Point Mary in the summer of '63. Army Ranger Edward Roderick was brought in to refine the plan and tighten the shooters/spotters/radio coordination. The team likely included the following: Rafael Chi Chi Quintero, Felix Rodriguez, Nestor 'Tony' Izquierdo, Herminio Diaz Garcia, Steve Wilson, Roy Hargraves, Felipe Vidal Santiago, Frank Sturgis, Carlos Hernandez, Antonio Soto, Jorge Navarro, Victor Hernandez, Frank Barnardino, John Koch Gene, Luis Posada and Dick Whatley. This was the CIA’s alpha team of Anti-Castro Cubans (or American contract soldiers) who had been selected, trained, and operated since 1961. Many came from military backgrounds and had combat experience prior to 1961.A number of other spotters, lookouts, radio men, drivers, and back up patsies have been linked to Dealey Plaza that day, as well as possible CIA/ACSI coordinators Ed Lansdale, George Bush, and E. Howard Hunt. George Lumpkin was in the lead car of the motorcade. He worked under the founding member of the 488th Military Intelligence Reserve unit Jack Crichton, which had several members of the Dallas Police under his command. Crichton himself (or his assistant) was at the Dallas Civil Defense Command post at the Fairgrounds which was a likely communication center that day. Lumpkin took control of the TSBD after the shooting, and Crichton arranged the translator for Mariana Oswald.George H.W. Bush and Crichton were the fundraisers and coordinators for the CIA's pre Bay of Pigs Operation 40/AMOTs, using Zapata Offshore as a front. Joaquin San Jenis trained most of the recruits, and CIA officers like Harvey/Jenkins/Robertson selected the PATHFINDER team. This initial pool of Anti-Castro fanatics is where most of the assassination team came from. Much of the team stuck together, and followed CIA commanders David Morales, Carl Jenkins and Rip Robertson around the globe. Congo in ‘64, Laos and Vietnam in ‘65-’70 for the Phoenix program, Bolivia in ’67 to hunt down Che Guevara, Central America for the 70’s and 80’s culminating in Iran Contra. Felix Rodriguez, a legendary operative in the Anti-Castro Cuban community, was a protege of David Morales, led the team that captured Che Guevara, and was friends with George H.W. Bush well into Bush's presidency.E. Howard Hunt, facing prison for Watergate, asked for money saying that if he were to talk, “all the dominos would fall”. Nixon said, on tape, that he wanted Hunt paid 2 million dollars, and that if Hunt talked it would “open up the whole Bay of Pigs thing”. Rafael Chi Chi Quintero, working for Carl E. Jenkins during Iran Contra told Gene Wheaton that they killed Kennedy. Wheaton took it to congress and was shut down. I’m 69 years old, born in 1950 in suburban Chicago. I’m very nostalgic and like to visit every house I lived in and every school I attended. I drive my wife nuts with this.I live in northern Michigan now so I don’t get back to my old stomping grounds much. Wheaton, IL was my hometown. I first drive to the first house I lived in the first 3 years of my life. It hasn’t changed much at all! It’s still yellow brick, old garage and a little lawn. I recall all the names of the neighbors we had.I then drive to my old house that we built in 1952–53. This was my main residence from 3–16, the really formative years. There is a large tree on the side of the yard, I mean a big ash that I bought on Arbor day 1955 while in kindergarten at Hawthorne school for 25 cents. I drive down our old street and as I pass by the houses I can recall every dog the neighbors had, and their names, believe it or not—the dog’s names.Off to my grade school, Hawthorne, where I attended K-6th. I recall all my teacher’s names grade by grade. I recall the day we got a new immunization for polio in 1956—The Saulk vaccine. Polio was horrible in those days, and this stuff was a life changer!I was 5 when they announced the shots would be coming soon and I was convinced that if I turned 6 I wouldn’t cry. My birthday wasn’t that far off, but they announced the shots would be given before I turned 6. What I did was pray at Sunday school that I would turn six before the shot.The day for the shots came, and was cancelled and postponed for two weeks. I was ecstatic that God had answered this little boy’s petition.So, as you can see my nostalgic habits trigger interesting memories!Next stop, Northside Park. We have a lagoon fed by a creek on which we would Ice skate in the winter. It was winter 1962–63 I kissed a girl for the first time, Jennifer, and on the lips, for about .05 seconds. She ended up as a missionary to Spain, and I a Lutheran pastor…Quite a kiss!In conclusion, old places of childhood provide me with a flurry of memories. That’s just the way I am. In fact, Bernie raised a record $6 million from more than 225,000 donors within a day.But he is not the only Democratic candidate gaining momentum.Senators Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren raised a combined $2 million in the first day of their campaign.In all, the Democrats have a serious shot at the presidency. And these three leading Democratic presidential candidates pose a serious risk to your portfolio.Here’s why.All the Democratic Candidates Have One Thing in CommonAll three Democratic candidates have endorsed a policy known as the Green New Deal.The bill’s aim is to cut carbon emissions down to near zero by radically reforming the US economy.It also includes expensive social programs such as a federal job guarantee, free college, and universal healthcare.The plan is estimated to cost $6.6 trillion per year. That’s three times more than the federal government collects in tax revenue.It’s also larger than the entire $4.4-trillion federal budget for 2019.So how will all these new programs be paid for?A Radical Re-Thinking of Government FundingThe Democrats are tossing around an idea known as Modern Monetary Theory (MMT).MMT is an economic theory that states a government can print money and spend as much as its needs. This way you don’t need to raise tax revenue or cut spending to fund government programs.So if the US government wants to spend $6.6 trillion per year on the Green New Deal, they can print $6.6 trillion just like that.Stephanie Kelton is one of MMT’s top advocates. No surprise she is also the chief economic adviser for Bernie Sanders.Kelton went so far as to say that, “We must give up our obsession with trying to ‘pay for’ everything with new revenue or spending cuts.”This is a major re-thinking of how governments are funded.But MMT poses one big problem, which even MMT proponents agree on. This policy could create massive inflation.Bracing Yourself for Massive InflationIf you print more money that chases around the same amount of goods, inflation will occur. It’s common sense.If the Democrats implemented MMT, they would print $6.6 trillion per year for the Green New Deal alone. That’s more than the entire US national budget!Such extreme measures are more likely than you might think. There’s no other way to fund the Green New Deal. Meanwhile, the Democrats seem to be bent on implementing it at any cost.That’s why the inflation risk is real. And now is a perfect time to take precautions.Before I continue, let me make it clear: I’m not a gold bug.My goal is to find safe yet profitable dividend stocks. And the data shows that gold stocks now offer a compelling value. They are also one of the best time-tested assets to hold in times of high inflation.For instance, when inflation was in the double digits in the 1970s, gold took off:But while many investors pour into gold miners, I buy a different kind of gold stock that offers better returns with lower volatility.A Little-Known Breed of Gold Stock That Offers More Upside at No Additional RiskThese stocks are known as gold streaming companies.Here’s how the streaming business model works in a nutshell. (You can find a more in-depth explanation of how these companies work here.)The gold streamer provides money to mining companies and becomes a silent partner. In return, it receives the right to buy metals from the miner’s future production at an agreed price.That’s good for a couple of reasons.First is unlimited upside. When gold prices rise, the streaming company still pays a set price. The company reaps higher profits and so do its shareholders.Second is limited downside. The streaming company is not on the hook for any additional costs. It is immune to the variable costs and risks associated with running a mine. And data confirms it’s a winning business model.When stocks sold off in late 2018, gold performed well. But it’s been no match for gold streaming companies.Take a look at this chart:Since October 1, 2018, the S&P 500 is down 4.9%.
