I love unique, edgy and pushing the boundaries kind of fashion. Some of my favorite fashion designers are those who create something truly unique and there creations are no less than an artpiece.Here’s a list of my favorite fashion designers:International1) Guo Pei- The Chinese designer behind iconic yellow gown worn by Rihanna.The way she reflects the elements from the Chinese culture into her garments is just outstanding.All of her garments are based on a concept and feature intricate embroideries with fascinating silhouttes.2) Marchesa-Established by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the designs of this fashion house are feminine, gorgeous and look right out of a fairy tale. I just love the way they use applique and floral elements on their garments.3) Yanina Couture- Owned by fashion designer Yulia Yanina is my absolutely favorite fashion house. Her designs are what dreams are made of and the way she uses unique techniques and bold embroideries in her garments is amazing.She was also behind one of Aishwarya Rai’s outfit for Cannes Film festival.4) Elie Saab- He is one of the leading fashion designers in the world and his outfits are loved by a number of Hollywood stars. He knows how to dress a women like a queen.5) Zuhair Murad: His enchanting gowns are every girls dream.And here are 5 of my favorite Indian designers-Papa Don’t Preach- If I have to wear an outfit that matches my personality the best I’d definitely chose one from Papa don’t preach by Shubhika. Her designs of traditional wear with a modern twist are pure love.Rimzim Dadu- The sculpted silhouettes in her outfits are created by stiching a bunch of metal wires together using special techniques. How amazing is that?This saree pallu is created using zari cords.3) Amit Aggarwal- He uses recycled pvc cords to give interesting textures to his garments.4) Masaba- Who knew that comfort and fashion go together so well. She mixed tribal Afro prints with traditional Indian dressing styles and created something truly amazing out of it.The revolutionary denim saree by Masaba.5) Sabyasachi- If someone asks to define India in terms of clothing, the answer would be Sabyasachi. He has revolutionized the fashion industry with his vintage fashion inspired outfits that are classic and timeless.
