Igc Project: Fill & Download for Free

Dear friend;Myself a Project HSE officer Currently working in UAE. I will give you some brief of what I do to reach this position. I started my career as a Graduate Trainee in an Oil and Gas Firm in India. After I came to know about the safety field and its importance in Missle east countries. I researched the topic and came to know about NEBOSH IGC. It was a 2 Written exam(IGC 1 & GC 2) and 1 project course (GC3) at that time, but now only 1 exam and 1 Project (IG1 & IG2). Along with that I also have done some courses such as IOSH Managing Safely (which are actually not mandatory to get a job).It took around three months to get the result of nebosh. At this point, IOSH and my B Tech degree had helped me to find a Safety Officer job in a company in India. The salary for that job was Rs. 10000 with accommodation(which I believe is too low). But the experience I got from that company was good after getting the result of Nebosh, I stayed there till that project ends. In the meantime, I applied for lots of jobs in sites such as Naukri, Indeed, and also a lot of WhatsApp groups as well. It helped me to get a job in an Oil and Gas Construction company( They give importance to my certificates and my Knowledge in oil and gas during the interview). Since they need a person on an urgent basis, They selected me. This was a turning point in my career, I got a lot of contacts from the company. It helped me to get an idea of how to get a job abroad. I used to read Assignment abroad Newspaper and local Newspaper abroad job advertisements. I had gone to a lot of interviews in Mumbai also had attended a lot of telephonic interviews before I get a job in UAE. The interview was tough, because gulf countries are following a lot of safety procedures and systems compared to India. So I had done a lot of background study before attending interviews. I strongly believe this interviewing team is only looking for a person who knows something about these safety systems, They don’t actually give much importance to Indian Experience.and That's all about me. Now I am trying to do some advanced courses in safety. because as time goes, we have to update our knowledge as well.

Construction industry is still in boom stage to some extent in gulf countries. So they do hire civil engineers from India and other asian countries along with engineers from western countries too.Now coming to benificial courses, one can do the following courses as per their desired department in construction industry;For design department:One can do a certificate course in Auto Cad, Stad Pro, Revit, SAP2000 once you get ahead with all this you will understand the need and preferences and so can learn some more softwares too if desired.For safety department:Safety professionals are much required, recognised and well paid in gulf countries.Along with a civil engineering degree a safety course like NEBOSH IGC, ICC or from IOSH or safety course from RICS.Above mentioned course are very well recognised and respected and with these courses in hand it becomes quite to easy to fetch a job in gulf countries.For project planning departmentCerticate course in Primavera and MS Project will be benificial.For execution department.I guess there is no such certificate course. A dynamic, energetic with a good leadership skills and knowledge about site construction work will be helpul.Quantitative surveying, contract management.This is also one of the good profile and one can do a certificate course in Quantitative surveying and contract management from Bhidani or RICS etcQA/QCQuality assesment and Quality control. Institute like RICS, Bhidani provide a certicate course in this domain too.Note: Bhidani institute comes under SKILL INDIA initiative of INDIAN GOVERMENT and RICS(Royal Institute of Charteted surveyor) is a globally recognised institute and very well repected in gulf countries.Although lot of oportunities are there in gulf countries GCC but it is always better to get some experience from your native country first then you will be offered with more opportunities and good pay also.Hope it helps.Feel free to contact, message or comment if you have any doubt.

I have not heard about IGC 4IGC 1-It is the management part,you just need to answer it properly.IGC 2 -It is the techniacl safety(which i personally feel is difficult).IGC3 -It is the project part,you need to prepare a project report on the basis of the safety visit you had(opportunity to score here).Still it depends on the experience a respective person is having.sometimes for a fresher IGC 2 is difficult and for experienced IGC 1 is difficult.Nothing is difficult if you prepare well.You know your weakness so focus more on you weakness.Thank you
