What is my destiny on Quora? My destiny is to answer questions and enlighten the less enlightened. My destiny is to read answers and become more enlighten about subjects I know very little about. It is here that I can read with awe and wonderment the wisdom of Michael J. McFadden, Mike Muluk, Gordon Miller, Lola Sugimoto (杉本 ローラ), Josh Hill, John Goss, Alan Bonebrake, Adey Gurshan, Kaden West, Caleb Beers, André Müller, Farah Deeba, and many others. And with this knowledge, I will slowly grow more and more powerful in my quest to make the world a better place.

He has very well thought out answers on a variety of subjects. But beware! He is also addicted to chocolate. Michael J. McFaddenI met John Goss while studying Qi Gong about a decade ago. He is one of my very best friends ever in my life. He has helped me out so so many ways and I learn a lot from him when we talk together. We socialize in person several times a month, and it is an intellectual delight every time. John GossAnd there is one friend that I have known since childhood, Alan Bonebrake. He is one of the smartest people that I have ever met. He is also the world’s best chiropractor. He was such a delight to talk with during our last high school reunion that time passed very quickly. One of the most interesting things during our friendship was that his first wife seriously proposed marriage to me during our first high school reunion. Billy Zoom from the band X is appreciated as an amazing guitarist among X fans but beyond that I’m sure nobody’s ever heard of him. X is a punk band that started out in Los Angeles in 1977. Their first three or four records were produced by Ray Manzarek of the DOORS. John Doe on bass and vocals, DJ Bonebrake on drums, Exene Cervenka on vocals and Billy Zoom on guitar. X was and is a punk band but they had way more going on than anybody else at the time. Male/female lead vocals, intricate drum parts, harmonies, and this incredible guitarist. Everybody in that band excelled at what they did and they are incredibly creative musicians and poets. Billy Zoom mixes a lot of rockabilly and country guitar in with a lot of straight up Chuck Berry rock n roll and then adds a sound and intensity that can only called punk and he does it completely effortlessly. Not to mention that many of the songs on the first three X records are played incredibly fast, so Billy Zoom is basically playing these incredible guitar bits at least 2x as fast as anyone else at the time. He has always played Gretch guitars and he always had a sort of punk rock/rockabilly look and these days he looks like a guy in a 1960’s bowling league. I saw X play a few years ago and he’s still the master of those songs. He left X for quite a while in the late 80’s and I’m not actually sure at what point he came back. Pull up the albums ‘Los Angeles’, ‘Wild Gift’, ‘more fun in the new world’ and ‘under the big black sun’. Those are the first four records and they’re all incredible.
