When I got my vasectomy, I was chatting with the doc while he was prepping the area for surgery. I was talking about being an English teacher and he said, “Yeah, I wasn’t that great of a student…”I replied, “Doc, ya kinda got my life in your hands here, do you mind if I pretend you were the valedictorian?”He and his nurse were laughing so hard he couldn’t cut for two minutes.

This incident happened to me during my internship period.Dept. Yes, women are pretty tensed about male obgy. I think you are pregnant cause it's 2line. But let's recheck.She disappeared and reappeared with-Image source Google:Me : Yes you are pregnant.She : standing still.. with some query in face.Me: Do you want to say something?She : with overcoming shyness (stressfully)replied - Doc the previous doctor whom I visited said 'as the 2nd line is a fade one you are getting pregnant but not pregnant yet'. [In Bengali the exact reply was - বাচচ। আসেনি তবে আসছে]^_^

In school days, one of my friend was passionate about military. He had one aim - join army and serve India.He always kept himself fit and trained regularly keeping up with military standards.The time came. He finished high school and enrolled for SSB.He topped the entrance test and cleared technical rounds with ease. The only thing keeping him away from achieving his dream was a medical test.However, there was a small problem. He was colorblind. Not the typical red-green one but the advance level. The I-have-seen-a-blue-colored-goat level colorblind.He was aware of his condition and was positive about doctor failing him for colorblindness.He had a doctor friend. The doctor friend, knowing his condition, gave him 3 books. These books had random numeric numbers hidden in a pattern which are only visible to people with normal eyesight. One of these books were used by military doctors to check for colorblindness.My friend couldn’t see 70% of these numbers. So he smartly memorized them based on the page number in each book.Next day he was called for the medical test. He was prepared and walked in with confidence. After completing basic examination, it was time for the colorblindness test. The doc took out a book and my friend recognized it from the 3 books he had memorized.Doc pulled a random page and asked “What number do you see?”.Friend: *checks the page number and answers immediately*Doc turned the page and asked again. Friend looked at the page number and answered without missing a beat.This continued 6–7 times and each time my friend answered perfectly.Doc took out another book. This again was one of the three my friend had learned by heart.Same thing was repeated. My friend had memorized the numbers so well he was answering in blink of an eye. He had become super confident by now.Doctor: “Wow, you seem to have a great eyesight”.Friend: “I think so”, he proudly replied.Doc closed the book and turned to update something on his computer. My friend was on cloud nine by now.The Doc turned around and asked “Please take a look into the computer screen and tell me what number do you see?”My friend’s jaw dropped to the floor. The doctor had opened colorblindness test online. My friend was staring into the monitor blankly. He could see there was a pattern but he couldn’t see a number however hard he tried. He squinted, he blinked, he tilted his head, but couldn’t see a thing. Nothing. Naught. Zilch.Doctor smirked and asked: “What happened? No page number to refer to here now, is it?”Rejected.I know what my friend did was morally and ethically wrong. Even he regrets it now. That time he was 18 year old blinded by the passion to serve his country. I have no doubt he would've been a great addition to army. He is one tough guy. And if he had got selected unfairly I’m sure it would've ruined his career sooner or later.Moral is you shouldn't mess with Indian army.
