It is a simple process. Bonafide passenger should meet Chief Reservation Supervisor of the nearest Railway Station (for Chennaites - meet CRS, available in the first floor of Moore Market Complex Reservation Office) with a copy of Train Ticket already purchased and supporting documents (Aadhaar/Ration Card etc). The CRS will be giving (forms readily available in his Cabin) printed form for Name Change Request. To carry original supporting documents for verification. Form needs to be submitted before 24/48 hours of journey. On satisfactory verification of details, the CRS endorses Change in the Name, after making necessary entry in his Computer and Office Records, in the e-ticket/i-ticket carried and submitted to the CRS. The CRS at Chennai Central happens to be a simple and quick in his courteous action. The entire process takes just a few minutes.

There are very few peple who can give you a balanced opinion because no one has attended all classes of both of these institutes. As a DAMS Classroom student (no idea about Test and Discussion), I will tell you what I like and dislike about DAMS.I was a student in 2017 so some of what I am going to write is no longer relevant because much has changed since last year partly because of the advent of Marrow.Inside the classromTeachersDAMS as several exceptional teachers. Not only are they qualified (and usually hold degrees from famous institutes even though I personally do not think this is an important criteria for a good teacher), they are also good at the art of teaching.Several names stand out immediately. Sumer sir for radiology (a big reason why I chose this subject), Deepti ma’m for Gynae, Srinath Chandramani sir and Arvind sir for Medicine, Anupama ma’m for Physiology, Rohan Khandelwal for Surgery (he has left dams for marrow now), Jindal sir for Derma, Sachin sir for Psychiatry etc are all adept at making you excited about their subjects.These teachers not only forced me to reinvent their respective subjects, they also gave us wonderfully concise notes which were a pleasure to read conceptually while still covering a massive number of MCQs.In my opinion, DAMS is still the largest collection of exceptional teachers in India. (Although, as of 2018, Marrow has a great panel too.)Quality of studentsMost of the toppers are from DAMS because DAMS is still the most popular choice. That in and of itself doesn’t make it the right choice, obviously, but there are certain advantages of sharing the classroom with the hardworking and well-prepared students. You get a feeling of what you’re up against when they answer the difficult questions that you have never even heard of before. It gives you a sense of the magnitude of the task ahead of you.Another added benefit of going up against most of the top rankers is that if you choose to assess yourself in the online tests or even the DAMS CBT (an all india practice test), it gives you a pretty real picture of where you rank at that point of time.Special sessions: DVT and Pre-PGI revision classesEven after your classroom session ends, DAMS arranges a DVT:DAMS visual treat at the Talkatora Stadium in Delhi which is telecast live at all their centres in the country. In 2017, this session that I attended was brilliant. The teachers managed to distill unimaginably vast subjects into session that barely lasted 3–4 hours and somehow helped us revise important sections for all topics of the respective subjects. I found myself sitting next to a dude who was well prerpared even during his internship and went on to get a top 100 rank and the interaction I had from him gave me a lot of insight on how the good students from rest of the country are studying.Although my PGI rank wasn’t enough to get me a seat, it was a really good rank compared to my AIIMS and JIPMER ranks which gave me confidence. A big part of my PGI preparation was the DAMS special session where they told us in details about how the exam is different from the rest and what should be the ideal approach for it. In addition, they discussed past years questions (PGI is well known for repeating) and I got direct hits from the discussion as well the DAMS PGI book.Outside the classroomSocial MediaDAMS continues to influence the way you study even outside the classroom.The DAMS exclusive club on facebook is not perfect but it is great. It is a very active facebook group where Teachers post updates from different subjects and they along with ex-students (like me) and even current students try to answer the questions put forth by others. Although the wait time for several questions run into several hours and days (and some questions remain unasnwered), if the question is a good one and generates interest in the form of response by other students, it is usually noticed by the faculty and solved.Teachers like Deeksha Sikri ma’m actually hold classes in Facebook comment threads and despite how counter-intuitive it may sound, she continues to be one of the best pathology teachers who can explain the intricacies of hematology over comment threats spanning close to a thousand comments.AppsDams has a dedicated ebook app in which they make available the DVT presentations to help you revise in addition to a bunch of other extra books apart from their CRS books.DAMS also has a Test app which lets you give the tests and gives you detailed analyses of your results compared to all others who have also taken the tests. In addition, this app also has video solutions of all the tests where the teachers discuss the important topics from which the questions are derived.They also have a newer emedicoz application which functions similar to the facebook club for now. This is where they upload their mop-up videos before the entrance exams which I found superbly useful for subjects like Obgy, Community medicine and infectious diseases.YoutubeDAMS has a relatively new Youtube channel where they have started releasing videos about certain diseases or conditions where the relevant sections like radiology. Pathology, Micro, Psychi, Medicine etc are covered by respective subject specialists. This is a big help in correlating information accross all subjects.Problems and better alternativesOf course, not everything is awesome.The DAMS CRS books are terrible. The teachers will consistently tell you not to study from random guide books (and I agree) but their suggested CRS books have no solutions, hundreds of printing mistakes and errors in the answer sheets and it used to give me a headache trying to study from them.Update from Ojas Gite about DAMS 2018 session:I don't know about 2017 batch but now DAMS is also offering talking CRS which has considerably reduced printing mistake in CRS (According to me!) also Errata of subjects is released time to time and it has reduced printing mistakes to zero.The FB group isn’t optimised enough to prove quick solutions to all questions but more than the teachers, I blame stupid students who keep asking the same question without taking the time to search the group for a question that has been asked hundreds of times before.The Kolkata organisers will sometimes make you angry when they will randomly cancel and reschedule classes.Good teachers are leaving (or have left) DAMS and that is a big cause of worry.In 2018, several of my juniors have reported being very disasatisfied with the quality of teaching in the DVT which wasn’t the case during my time.Marrow offers a better alternative to their test series and MCQs. The Marrow Question Bank blows away the CRS. It is also a slicker app than all the DAMS apps.As for the videos, unfortunately, I haven’t seen ALL the marrow videos but they do have excellent teachers too.I have no experience with Bhatia but I will give you certain facts:Bhatia has fewer students (which implies fewer toppers that you share classroom with)Bhatia mock tests will be less representative of your actual position than DAMS Grand tests or subject wise tests although this is not a deal breaker since you can take the DAMS CBT as a bhatia student and vice versa.Bhatia may have better books (It is not difficult to outdo the CRS)Bhati may have a few or even equal number of good teachers but logic dictates that since DAMS is richer and pays more to its teachers, it is more likely to have a greater number of good teachers.Ideally, you should compare a review of DAMS (mine or similar) with a review of Bhatia to make an educated choice.

There is no need for an explanation of either, they are self explanatory. If the President of the US cannot talk with a foreign leader without someone making the ridiculous claims then this country is in even bigger trouble. Every one of the invalid whistleblower complaints was made clearly obvious from the released transcript. On top of the fact that the whistleblower complaint should have NEVER have made it past the IC IG for several reasons. 1st the complaint was filed under the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protrection Act. This Act is one of several different whistleblower protection acts that covers various parts of the government. This act is to protect a whistleblower from retaliation from their bosses in the Intelligence community. This Act does not cover the President. Therefore it is invalid and the IC IG should have rejected it. Secondly the law itself states that, rumor or political difference are not valid claims. And that the whistleblower must have 1st hand knowledge of the event. This requirement had been printed on the complaint form itself. This note on the complaint form suddenly was removed from the complaint form just days prior to the official complaint being filed. The CRS which gives guidance to government departments and employees about the various rules and regulations also issued a new report on the whistleblower report, which is highly usually when there hasn't been any change in the law. And in this revised report the CRS selectively edited parts of the actual law that required the whistleblower to have 1st hand knowledge and the parts that demonstrate clearly that this act doesn't cover the President.The whistleblower also violated provisions of the law that required the complaint be filed with the IC IG and then if he wants to go Congress with his complaint he must inform the ICIG. We already know that the whistleblower contacted Adam Schiff before he contacted the IC IG.In any event the claims by the whistleblower have been totally debunked by the transcript. The Australian thing is also another fraudulent claim as proven by the letter the Australian government released about the event.
