Normally when an aspirant burn himself for such uncertain exams conducted by UPSC where one can't predict anything till final results are out, the condition is like to fire gun shots on a moving target that too with your eyes closed, the need is to keep shooting some or other day you will hit your target, I am saying so because to my surprise I have seen so many people even from iits are unable to clear it even after 2–3 years and a number of average students from private colleges cleared it with great rank, the deciding factor is hard work only,this is condition in ESE, CSE is full of such stories both of success and failure, so I thank GOD daily for what he made me to achieve as I wake up, if I say that any topper whosoever is he if says that he topped such exams without blessings of PARENTS and ALMIGHTY then he is certainly not correct. E taking seminars you will be paid good amount (since I don't have that much time so I attended few only) , a number of people will come for your financial help even without your asking in some or other form(I can't tell which forms, U clear it you will understand yourself) ,even few professors of my college were asking for any financial help if I needed but I didn't took it from anyone as now I am self sufficient to carry out my expanses also my father teaches coaching so a number of students have come to study from the day I cleared ESE with AIR under 10,its normal condition that people judge your parents by your actions, if you will do something great, this society will praise your parents. So overall condition changed drastically, I never thought that these things will become so smooth after clearing ESE.LEARNINGIf you are financially weak then don't bother about anything just study and clear it, your financial conditions will surely change after clearing it itself and after joining I don't need to say anything, you can see salary and perks that these officers get, I visited NCR headquarters and rail colony in ALLAHABAD, I was surprised to see the house and facilities these railway officers get, even class 3 employees house in railways has a decent living conditions let alone class 1,it is applicable for other departments also, no doubt you will have good living conditions.SOCIAL RECOGNIZITIONThis is the biggest change I observed before and after clearing ESE1 The UPSC tag and all the hardships which you have undergone to achieve it will make you to respect yourself and this is the biggest satisfaction one can achieve.2 Laughing faces of your parents and loved ones makes you to think that whatever I did to bring smiles on these gloomy faces which always were in thought of your future will make you happy by a number of times, every elder members who are too old to live for more than 10 years, when sees me starts to weep as they have achieved this feat themselves, since I belong from a very humble background with no one in my family in any govt job so these things for them is no less than miracle.3 Now my house is not judged by how it looks whether it has Asian paints or a broken wall nor my parents and family members by which brand dress they have wore or how is their hairstyle or how is their makeup, wherever they go they are respected and are center of attraction. It is easy to have a branded dress and make up than to have a branded post. So these trivial things doesn't matters to us anymore. I myself as well as a number of toppers know used a single pair of dress for 10–15 days during preparation, we used to recall each other by our dress like wo lal shirt wala because ones that lal shirt any of us wore will come down after 10–15 days so it become our trademark.I used to have hair cut or shaving after months when it became intolerable similar was the condition with theses people also, it is not that we intentionally used to do such things but such was our dedication level that we used to forget everything except our target.LEARNINGKHUCH KAM APNE LIYE NAHI APNO KE LIYE KARNA CHAHIYE AND DON'T RUN BEHIND PSEUDO THINGS AND ATTRACTIONS, RUN BEHIND ONLY YOUR GOAL.SOCIAL BONDINGThis is one of aspects in which I found myself developed, after clearing ESE I met with a number of people and talked them personally which enhanced my knowledge ,few to mention are1 AJAY KUMAR SAHANI SIR -A senior railway officer from mechanical branch. Presently he is posted at NCR HEADQUARTERS ALLAHABAD.2 ZAFAR IQBAL SIR IAS AIR 37 2016 presently SDM of HAMIRPUR H. P, he is alumni of our college NITH.3 SAGAR KUMAR JHA SIR CSE AIR 13 2017 Not only he is a topper but also a down to earth person, he is just like an elder brother to me, always ready to help whenever needed.Apart from these abilities he has a quite melodious voice, I myself hear few bhajans sung by him whenever I get time, it's excellent to hear those,I have seen a number of toppers but very few of them are bonded to our culture and traditions.He is an iitian in computer science and cleared cse with mathematics as optional but even though his faith in our culture and traditions is surely praiseworthy.4 ABHIJEET SINHA SIR CSE AIR 19 2017 A very modest and helping personality.I have never seen him aggressive, he is a quite cool headed person with a superb intellectual level, secured 163 and 153 in cse 2016 and 2017 prelims which is remarkable.I learned a lot and got guidance from these people whenever needed. I am thankful to all of these people and hope for their valuable guidence in future also.PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENTI gave guest lecture at few places and was interviewed by various sources, which helped me to develop my personality and enhance my public speaking skills, as I was back bencher from always who was always late in each and everything, I never took part in any sort of competition or programme in my college as well as school, I also never attended any technical fest or any other programme in whole of my life and from the day I secured AIR 8 ,I have attended all in one go, so whole void is filled in one go.Best presentation which I had when I was invited to deliver guest lecture in my college, I am saying so because I was only person who missed every campus placements, every festives and college programmes for the sake of my studies, most of the time I was sitting in college library, even in summers of final sem I didn't go home to prepare for gate and ese and studied in college library for whole summer vacation, up-to 3rd year I had a simple black and white mobile that too in such a condition which only I could operate but when I see those days I laugh internally and feel proud on my dedication level, few people said that when you leave college you will not get any job as you have not opted for any campus placements and private sector scope is too less in civil, I heard all these patiently and it felt great proud to me when I went to deliver the guest lecture at NITH and all the people who went 25–50 lakh were none invited there, it is best rank in CIVIL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT FROM NITH from 1985.LEARNINGTHERE ARE FEW THINGS WHICH CAN'T BE PURCHASED BY MONEY, THE EARLIER YOU REALISE IT BETTER THE CONDITION WILL BE. I REALISED IT QUITE EARLY.NO MORE WATER SPLASHINGThis was small incident which took place with me when I was going to take admission in NIT HAMIRPUR from my home, my train was from ALLAHABAD, as I was going to Railway Station to catch my train with my father, in between there was DRM office as ALLAHABAD is headquarter of NCR, it was a rainy day and whole road was filled with water, I and my father were going on foot with luggage in our hands suddenly a DRM came out with a vehicle having red beacon on it (somewhat like above picture) and driver was so rude that even in such condition he was driving so fast without even thinking that it will splash water on those who are going on foot, his splash of water wetted us from top to bottom and vehicle passed by but we can't do anything, but my hardwork and determination has surely made me and my father to sit in same vehicle some day but we shall go slowly because I know how it feels when someone is treated like this...
