Having good information and knowledge about the subject makes you confident, which is crucial in making presentation.Practice, practice, practice. King Jr. and Fidel Castro. Watch presentations of these noble speakers with critical view.Rehearsal. Before making the presentation, rehearse it several times with classmates, friends and others and ask them to challenge you with hard questions and to suggest your weaknesses.It is very important to know who are the audience; public folks or academics in your field. Others, jump in with both feet - just make sure if you do this that you test material on honest viewers.Bonus:Be open to new formats, technologies, ideas, presentation styles. The world of conference education is changing along with the people who attend them (i.e. social media integration, live streaming / hybrid events, fishbowls, audience immersion, pecha kucha, etc).
