PDF Editor FAQ

Is there life after death?

Short answer: yes, there is life after death. But things are much more complicated and convoluted than religion, philosophy and science can tell us… Let me explain a few concepts about life / death that are definitely not "mainstream" and put them into a coherent contest, which unless you have been following people like Dolores Cannon, Micheal Newton, Brian Weiss, Elizabeth April, Gigi Young or Bridget Nielsen, you might have never heard of.What follows is an ultra-concise summary of the results of 37 years of my own investigation at 360 degrees and a multitude of personal experiences. Firstly, during the last 3 years, I have met more than 30 people (mostly women) with psychic abilities, from various backgrounds and countries of origin (e.g. an American writer of children's books and lecturer in a major university, a Czech marketing manager for big companies, a former fellow researcher with a degree in physics, a Bulgarian human rights expert psychologist who worked at the UN, a young Russian entrepreneur in the field of design, various professionals working for the European Commission, a Turkish chemist who now heals using shamanic rituals, a Canadian youtuber graduated in economics), all in full possession of their mental faculties, with first-rate careers and admittedly with various forms of extrasensory perception. Secondly, I have done research on related topics for decades and have lived countless "paranormal" experiences myself (which I recently started documenting in an anonymous blog ...) that keep showing up in my (and some of my friends’) life on a daily base. At the root of everything, with all due respect to atheists, Catholics, Jews and Muslims, there is reincarnation. The latter, contrary to what many people think, is not a belief, is not an invention of some gullible Asian or aboriginal joker, but it is a VERIFIABLE reality that is at the core of the life cycle. Reality is organized into different energy levels (or vibrations) corresponding to different dimensions (there are said to be at least 12-13) and to an unknown (infinite?) number of universes. We, in the third dimension (also called third density), perceive only that part of reality corresponding to the frequency range to which we are "tuned in” (think of the analogy with a TV: in order to watch a channel you have to tune in to the frequency corresponding to that channel, within a finite range of available frequencies), but other realities exist in other frequency ranges that our senses and/or instrumentation cannot perceive. Everything vibrates, starting from the subatomic particles that underlie all the fundamental states of matter (plasma, gas, liquids, solids). Even modern theoretical physics is approaching this conception of reality with the string theory, with the concept of multiverse and assuming the existence of multiple dimensions (11 or more). The higher the level of vibration the closer one is to what is called "source energy" or "divine energy" or God if we really want to call it that. Not a "father God" as religion describes to us, nor above all a "God judge", none of this, but in any case creator / source of the whole. Jesus, Buddha and other prophets were actually direct incarnations of source energy, the so-called "ascended masters" although in many cases their message was deliberately manipulated by religious institutions (interested in brainwashing their followers to keep control and power over the centuries ... so far very successfully, let me add). Demons / angels also exist and correspond to low / high vibration levels. As well as the so-called spirit guides (each of us has more than one, on average a dozen ...) which can be contacted directly BY ANYONE through procedures that exploit meditation or other forms of channeling (for example, through a pendulum magic). Each reincarnation works a bit like in the film "The matrix", in which, however, outside the simulation (i.e. our "tangible reality"), we exist in the form of energy orbs, pure high-vibration energy and direct emanation of the source energy. When we die, we actually go back to the "base" (process called "crossover") and then reincarnate not necessarily immediately (time is relative beyond the third dimension ... but Einstein had already noticed it with the theory of relativity). It may happen that some soul remains "attached" to people, places, physical things or emotions of a certain existence and that they find it difficult to return to the base. In this case, these souls become (temporarily) the famous… ghosts. Think of the mythical film "Ghost" with Patrick Swayze: all realistic, also the fact that the emotions and the desire to interact with the "living" survive in some cases to physical death. I guess the giggles, I would laugh too, but I had a direct experience myself at home (between 16th and 17th November 2018), with a series of horror film-like events that dispelled all my remaining doubts about the existence of ghosts. Each soul has a predestined contract, consciously choosing the type of life in which to incarnate in order to learn lessons and achieve certain objectives that are always of a spiritual nature (love, forgiveness, acceptance, etc.). Suffering, trauma and sacrifice are unfortunately an integral part of these contracts and are tools that allow the soul to evolve. Normally dozens if not hundreds or thousands of lives are needed to achieve the spiritual goals. If these are achieved, the soul can progress and move to higher levels of existence (with higher "vibration") and new goals are set, including that of helping other souls to progress (in this case you can become spirit guides) . Another aspect to consider is that reincarnation (like time outside our tangible reality ... think of the film "Interstellar" for example) does not follow a "linear" logic. It is not said that in an immediately subsequent life one must fix the unsolved problem of the previous life, so to speak, there may be discontinuities in this sense and resume an unresolved mission many lives later. In any case, at any level of vibration, we continue to evolve spiritually. The process is infinite. Some souls are enormously “older” than others, up to billions of years, at least according to our conception of time. Yes, even infinitely older than Earth's estimated life (4.5 billion years). To make things more complicated to conceive, the same soul can live different existences simultaneously, in different levels of vibration and even in different universes. What is more, multiple souls typically share the same "Higher Self", the immortal spirit which is the highest expression of one's soul, the closest to the source / God. Actually the soul is just an interface between the Higher Self and the physical body. And having a soul shared by multiple individuals allows the soul to evolve faster, since it can simultaneously experience different ways of life, so to speak. The latter is the concept of the oversoul group. Obviously there is no intelligent life only on Earth, with all due respect to those who (scientists, philosophers and luminaries from all over included) believe that we are alone in this boundless universe (in which trillions of "visible" galaxies have been identified so far ... you can do the stats), actually multi-dimensional multiverse. And, to be honest, we humans are among the youngest and least evolved in the universe both technologically and spiritually, but under close observation by other inter-dimensional species for various reasons that I am not gonna list here, otherwise night falls… Also in this case, I have had numerous experiences of "contact" myself (the first at 8 years, the last just few days ago), both direct and indirect, desired or unwanted, in the presence or absence of witnesses. Returning to the concept of spirit guides, these can be souls of deceased relatives, spirits of animals, other "terrestrial" souls and / or inter-dimensional beings of various nature, even extraterrestrial. For those of you interested in learning more, I advise you to find out what access to "Akashic records" is and how it works. Akashic records are what the Bible refer to as the Book of life. They represent a database, a sort of "cosmic" internet where all information about past, present and future lives (although many claim that the future exists only in potential form to still make sense of free will) for any existing individual and for the universal consciousness (in the multi-dimensional and multiverse reality) are archived. In principle, the records are accessible by ANYONE through relatively standardized protocols based on meditation or hypnosis. While accessing these records, the requested information is received (or "channeled") in different forms: images and / or words and / or sensations and / or streams of consciousness and / or through a dowsing pendulum (quite tedious to use, but still effective). People like Nostradamus or Baba Vanga (famous Bulgarian psychic consulted even by the KGB and Russian government in the 80’s ...) had the ability to predict the future thanks to direct access to these "metaphysical" archives, in which information is "cataloged" based on different energy levels, so to speak. But even scientists / inventors such as Tesla had the ability and awareness to "download" information from this universal source of knowledge, in some ways comparable to Plato's Hyperuranion. Basically, forget the simplistic (allow me to say... from a children's storybook) vision of heaven, hell and purgatory or the fact that there is nothing after death. Past, present and potential future timelines actually coexist outside of our sensory perception. Past life regressions, Akashic records reading and remote viewing are psychic tools that anybody can train for, allowing to prove that space and time are illusory concepts. I suggest checking Dr. Harold Puthoff’s work. He was former director of a CIA-funded program (STARGATE) about remote viewing at the Stanford Research Institute, whose unclassified part of the experimental results were published on two NATURE journals (I guess this can be considered scientific enough, right?): Information transmission under conditions of sensory shielding (1974) and Information transmission in remote viewing experiments (1980). Reality is infinitely more complicated than we, any fiction, religion or science can imagine. But gradually, as I already mentioned, even theoretical physics (in particular quantum physics with the concept of entanglement, the theories of strings and the multiverse) is getting closer to understanding, at least in part, how things work with purely mathematical and, for now, unverified models. Probably, it will take centuries or millennia to arrive at a scientific, exhaustive and at least partially experimentally verifiable model of this multi-dimensional multi-universe reality in which we are immersed, ideally capable of grasping its most intimate complexity. If you are interested in understanding how reincarnation and the world of spirits work, I invite you to read a best seller called "Journey of souls" by Micheal Newton. The author in question is a psychiatrist specialized in hypnotic regression who collects extracts from sessions to 29 of his (7000 !!) patients in his book, during which these patients (under deep hypnosis) reveal highlights of their previous lives, various traumas, birth, death and periods between different reincarnations, encounters with spirit guides and / or with deceased relatives / friends etc. I have recently been able to experience something similar to what Newton told during a regression session in Brussels, before even starting reading his book. Other authors who I highly recommend: Dr. Brian Weiss (doctor and hypnotherapist), Dolores Cannon (hypnotherapist) and Prof. John E. Mack (former head of the Harvard psychiatry department and Pulitzer Prize winner, who devoted the last years of his brilliant career investigating alien encounters and abductions, also using hypnosis). Dolores Cannon, in particular, was the first one to develop a powerful technique for past life regression (i.e. QHHT, which I was able to experience in person only a few months ago) in the early 70s. There is also a whole team at the University of Virginia who studies reincarnation and Near Death Experiences: Our Research | Division of Perceptual Studies. For those of you interested in psychic abilities, I invite you to lookup info about remote viewing by Dr. Harold Puthoff, Russel Targ, Ingo Swan, Pat Price. Reports like SUMMARY OF KNOWN REMOTE-VIEWING EXPERIMENTS, https://www.cia.gov/library/readingroom/docs/CIA-RDP96-00788R001900760001-9.pdf sparked my personal interest into psychic abilities in first place.Let me give an advice to people interested in my post: always keep an "open mind" and doubt all the prepackaged “truths” that the media, education, religion have fed you since you were children. Wake up, do your own experiments and research, without prejudices! The same science can only accept what theories / tools of the moment allow it to explain / experiment, but it is constantly evolving and does not have a definitive answer on everything, on the contrary... Think of all the uncertainties related to quantum mechanics, the nature of gravity, cosmology (what is the dark matter that makes up 90% of the "visible" universe? just to give a striking example), genetics (what is the real function of the "junk" DNA, which represents about 95-99 % of the total ??), etc. There are experiences shared by millions of people (e.g. memories of past lives, contacts with spirits and entities of various types, UFOs, near death experiences, lucid dreams, astral travels, remote viewing, premonitions, alternative medicine, energy healing, shamanic rituals, etc.) and innate and fundamental questions about our existence (what is consciousness? what gives us awareness of ourselves? why death? why life?) that cannot be fully explained within the prepackaged paradigms that society proposes / imposes on us and which, despite this, deserve due attention and a research that is anything but superficial, in case one wants to understand how things work "behind the scenes". I am doing my part as a truth seeking scientist and engineer with a passion for knowledge and spiritual exploration in all its forms.

What are some good dark but good Naruto fanfictions?

Here are 25 extremely note-worthy dark fanfictions in the Naruto fandom that I have highly enjoyed reading. They are realistic, well-written and very entertaining:He Had No Fingers Chapter 1: He Had No Fingers, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: The Ninetails cannot be contained. But it will take a human sacrifice, all the same.My summary: A very dark fic where Naruto becomes progressively more inhuman, unsettling and unnerving. The best fanfiction in the Naruto fandom that I have ever read, hands down.A Play With Words Chapter 1: Earthquake, Death God, New World, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: A normal, though rather vertically challenged, young woman appears in the Naruto world through what she thinks might have been a freak accident. Problem is, she knows absolutely nothing about said world. Somehow she manages to burn Google translate into her own brain, and also have everyone out for her blood...literally. OC Self-insert.My summary: This is the second-best Character Insertion fics I have ever read and a high recommendation. Very realistic, dark and gritty but it retains humour and lighter parts without being too dark and depressing.Dirt and Ashes, or: The One-and-a-Half Body Problem Chapter 1, a naruto fanficOfficial Summary: The invasion didn't fail. Team seven is long gone. Konoha has burned to the ground. And Sakura finds herself carrying half of Hidan across two countries, leaving a trail of blood, bodies and other people's legs. [Grim, absurd and very violent. No romance.]My summary: Awesome story featuring Sakura who gets a reality check as she is captured by Orochimaru and lives through horrible things before she manages to escape with the upper half of Hidan's body, which she must drag across the country in a quest for revenge against Orochimaru. The Price of Living Chapter 1: Prologue, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: Knowledge of the future is not the safest thing to possess, she learned... [realistic SI/OC]My summary: Most realistic Self-Insert fanfiction I've had the pleasure to read. I recommend it highly.Loyalty Chapter 1, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: Blind loyalty is simple. The problem only begins when the world makes you open your eyes. Sakura-centric, AU, pre-timeskip.My summary: Sakura finds herself blackmailed into working for Orochimaru when she accidentally spies on a secret meeting between some of Orochimaru's spies. It's dark and at times quite brutal, but a satisfying read.Tis Femina Chapter 1: Last Entry, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: Naruto had gone to his last battle with Madara fully prepared to die with his enemy. He did not think he'd be manipulated by old toad sages and thrown to the far past. He did not expect to wake up in the Senju clan compound either. My summary: Naruto timetravels to the era of Madara and Hashirama. He grows stronger and becomes an important political presence within a city while at the same time plotting the demise of the Uchihas. The story has awesome world-building and politics.Monomoth Chapter 1: The Lingering, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: Everything ends, eventually. Eight years after the war, Sakura's unhinged and Sasuke's obsessed. The fields are filled with corpses. AUish, Sakura-centric.My summary: This is a post-war dark psychological fic that I highly recommend.Phantom Pains, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: There is something going on with Kakashi, but Minato can't figure out what. All he has are distressing deductions, each one progressively worse than the last. It's no wonder Minato can't help but fear and fear and fear. (To be fair though, it really wasn't his fault he never considered the possibility of time-travel)My summary: Basically, Kakashi time-travels to his younger years. Unfortunately, every injury he got the first time around will be inflicted spontaneously on his body as time passes. So he will complete a mission without causing himself injury, but if the first time around he'd gotten injured during the mission, those injuries will appear on his body the second time around. So he gets a lot of unexplained injuries and the story is about how Minato deals with this.Hokage By Necessity Chapter 1: What We Treasure, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: Hokage-it was Naruto's dream, just as Sasuke was his promise. And for a short, glorious time, he had them both. But when tragedy strikes, it is Sakura who must continue to bear the reality of the dream: endless paperwork, bickering Kage, and political factions. My summary: Naruto (the Hokage) disappears and Sakura is forced to replace him because she did all his paperwork for him before and she's the only one capable of replacing him until he is found. This story is about how she deals with various problems and tries to keep the village together. In Good Company Chapter 1: One: Wayward Yolk, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: This will sound a little ridiculous, no matter how Sasuke phrases it. "I see dead people" is embarrassingly tacky, and "I'm half-spirit" seems like something Sakura might say when she's stoned sky high. So he settles for a shrug. My summary: Sasuke is capable of seeing ghosts. This fic deals with how the Naruto-verse would be in that case. The First Flower of Spring Chapter 1: The Bell Calls Us, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: Because every ninja comes from somewhere. Lacking a presence in any ninja village, the Haruno are a clan just the same. Beholden to the traditions of her family, Sakura is changed, as are Team Seven's dynamics. Very psychological and philosophical fic, deals with dark themes in a very interesting way.Shinobi Tales: Tsubaki of the Pen Chapter 1: The First Story, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: (Complete) One reincarnation unwisely decides to publish the stories of several villains in the form of fairy tales. Unfortunately, not just children take notice. Main characters: most Akatsuki members, shady Konoha shinobi, OCs and a pseudo-SI.My summary: A story where a self-insert decided that instead of changing events, they would write stories that are thinly veiled metaphors or fables of future events. the Akatsuki finds out and decides to track down the writer. If You Like Piña Coladas Chapter 1: Scroll 1, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: We've heard it all before. Girl gets sucked into Naruto, girl heroically makes sure the story stays on track. Well, this girl was nearly killed in a ninja attack, and since then, she's had a change of heart. The story of a girl out to change the world...completely. AU. Pairing still undecided. My summary: A story I really love because it diverges from canon and goes very far. It's about a Self-Insert who decides to help the Akatsuki live and complete their goals.Trial by Ninja Chapter 1, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: To become great, one must overcome great opponents. A moment of inspiration during the chuunin exam puts Sakura on the path to greatness, whether she likes it or not.My summary: Very interesting story where Sakura has to battle increasingly powerful foes against her will and is forced to survive and become stronger. The Eyes Have It Chapter 1: Evidence, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: [FANOWRIMO CHALLENGE] Most people seem to think that developing a doujutsu is a wondrous, unspeakably lucky occurrence. Considering that she now has to deal with an ability she has no idea how to use, family drama, fashion crises, and the world's most rude and vulgar doctor, on top of getting to know her new genin team just after graduation...needless to say, Sakura begs to differ. My summary: Sakura gains a Kekkei Genkai. This fic deals is a realistic approach on how other people would deal with this, what Sakura would do, and so on. Very entertaining fanfic.Dancing with Demons Chapter 1, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: Growing up with a pack of Demons is easy, especially when the older he gets, the more a demon Naruto becomes. He encounters Team Seven and is brought to Konoha.Silence of the Damned, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: When Naruto wakes up to a dead body in his bathroom, he begins a quick spiral into madness. My summary: Fantastic fic. Or so Sasuke thinks… but there are too many coincidences that prevent him from dismissing his dreams as mere illusions. Timetravel. (A/N: under revision.)My summary: One of my favourite time-travel fics. A very good take on how Sasuke would react to time-travelling.The Philosophy of Self Chapter 1, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: They told him he was Sasuke. Was he mad to believe they were wrong? My summary: An amnesiac Sasuke is brought back to Konoha and is going to face trial. He has no memory of his life and is convinced he is not truly Sasuke. Great fic that keeps you hooked until the end.Freedom in the Eyes of Another Chapter 1, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: The Wave Mission was a failure. They got caught, captured, taken-it didn't end well. Now Sakura has a half-heard order, uncut fingernails, and more desperation than bravery. One way or another, she's getting Team Seven out today. Complete. My summary: Dark fic where the Wave Mission goes very badly and all of Team Seven is incapaciated except for Sakura. It's up to her to save them all, and this fic describes how far a weak little gening goes to save her team against powerful foes. The Ghost and the Darkness Chapter 1, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: Sasuke and Naruto become friends at a young age, but will Naruto's paranoia and mental instability draw Sasuke down into madness, or will Sasuke's own demons bring them both into the dark? Not yaoiMy summary: A very interesting fic in which Naruto is mentally instable and Sasuke befriends him.Ascendant Chapter 1: How it Ends How it Begins, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: Itachi's just died...and woken up thirteen again. The only problem is his thirteen year-old self doesn't like the idea of sharing his mind and body with his clan's killer. He didn't realise how bad pretending to get the Mangekyō would affect the members of his family. Gen, time travel, description of rape, prequel of Team Tensai not required to understand TT. Complete. My summary: Sasuke time-travels. He is young and would like to be able to use his Mangekyo, but unfortunately he hasn't lived through anything to justify having the Sharingan, as he is in the body of his child-self. So he pretends to have gone through a traumatizing experience to justify why he suddenly has the Mangekyo, expect his family reacts much more strongly and emotionally than he would have thought.Marrow Chapter 1, a naruto fanficOfficial summary: Because some things reach bone–deep. My summary: Sakura makes a deal with Orochimaru - Sasuke's freedom in exchange for her healing Kimimaro. A fic with a lot of interesting medical facts.I do hope you'll enjoy these as much as I did.

What would be the best way to restructure and improve the Star Wars prequels?

I feel like I’ve been waiting for this question for the past twenty years. Ever since I heard Lucas was working on an Episode I-III, I assumed that it would hit a few key plot points hinted at in the Original Trilogy and expand on a whole lot of others, but all we really got was a whole lot of irrelevant detail that answered questions no one had and added very little to the mythology. What should have been a Shakespearean tragedy of the slow but sympathetic descent of a Jedi Knight into madness against the backdrop of the decline and fall of the Roman Empire -- sorry, the Galactic Republic -- was instead replaced with toy tie-ins, podraces, high school romance, political and racial caricatures, and people running the galaxy (the senate and the Jedi) so dumb that you didn’t know who to root for. What a waste of good source material.I’m going to take a stab at writing down the outline of the plot that I’ve had in my head since 1995. My essential problem with the prequels is that of pacing – why waste two and a half movies on nothing, and leave the turning of Anakin into Darth Vader for half a movie, so that we have an entire movie dedicated to Tatooine Podracing and another to Frolicking in the Grass, but have the formation of the Rebel Alliance, the hiding of the twins, the hiding of Obi-Wan and Yoda, the construction of the Death Star et al all condensed into wordless 1 minute screen wipes at the end of the movie? Aren’t THOSE the key plot points? I’m sure people who watched the original trilogy wondered more about the formation of the Rebel Alliance than they did about the texture of skin vs. sand.My TL;DR summary: Expand the last half of Revenge of the Sith into the prequel trilogy.Okay, here goes nothing:Episode 1 - A Shadow Rises15 minute prologue – A starship, down to red emergency lighting and with alarms blaring, is being boarded by space pirates, echoing the start of the original trilogy where the Stormtroopers board the rebel starship. A twelve-year-old child and his parents are passengers on the starship, running away from the pirates who are killing everyone on board, and they are separated in the mayhem. Two young, unnamed Jedi Knights traveling on the starship are attempting to protect the passengers, but the heavily armed pirates are gaining ground. The Jedi put out a distress signal and a Jedi rescue starfighter from a nearby system speeds out towards them, but it is hopeless. The pirates hunt down the last of the passengers, and the two Jedi are killed in the ensuing battle, along with the child's parents. The child, still running, turns the corridor and sees the bodies of his parents silhouetted in the dark. His shock internalises into a wordless rage, and unthinkingly, he activates the lightsaber of one of the fallen Jedi and starts hacking away at the pirates who haven’t really noticed him. They turn around and start firing, but the child is somehow avoiding or blocking all of the laser blasts. He cuts a swathe through an entire corridor of space pirates, and continues hacking, hacking, hacking. When the rescue starfighter arrives, the Jedi board the now silent starship, looking at each other in shock when they find a trembling, fuming child standing alone in the control room, holding a glowing lightsaber with bodies of passengers and pirates strewn about him.Screenwipe to the Jedi Council, urgently discussing the matter of the clearly gifted child (in his absence). Yoda is distressed that the child’s Force sensitivity ‘triggered’ in such horrific circumstances, and worries that the Dark Side already has a foothold in the child. Obi-Wan, by now already a Master and young member of the Council, argues that the Council don’t really have a choice but to train the child, as he has displayed such strong potential that to deny him training would be even more dangerous, and that he has nowhere else to go now that he is an orphan. Obi-Wan has also had success training several distinguished Padawan, and he believes that he can train the child. The council begrudgingly accepts Obi-Wan’s proposal.[end Prologue]Jump quickly through ten years of Jedi training (I’ve always thought Liam Neeson and Christian Bale training for the League of Shadows in Batman Begins would have been the perfect ‘Jedi Training’ scene. Yes, Christian Bale is my Anakin. He can play the right blend of idealistic wrong-headedness and rage-driven world-weariness that I’ll need from my Darth Vader). Then, land Obi-Wan, Anakin and the Jedi ten years later squarely in the middle of the Clone Wars as generals. They are distinguished warriors, both on the battlefield and as starfighter pilots. Anakin is patriotic and charismatic, the perfect soldier, a politician’s dream. (He is not whiny, he is strong and brave and idealistic, which makes his descent all the more tragic and sympathetic, and creates a poignant undertone for the rest of the series, including the Original Trilogy.) The Clone Wars, which started innocuously as a trade dispute in an unremarkable system has now conflagrated into a decade-long, galaxy-wide conflict, as a secessionist movement has formed from disparate parts, accusing the Republican Senate of corruption and imperial ambitions, drawing the Jedi unwillingly into the conflict on the side of the Republic. No one can say for sure why they were called the Clone Wars, other than an unsubstantiated rumour that a secret cloning facility was part of the original trade dispute, and that someone high up in the Senate was developing illegal cloning technology. After a peculiar battle, Obi-Wan and other Jedi smell something fishy, and start to investigate.Anakin falls in love with a military royal senator that he fights alongside (sure, call her Padme), and argues unsuccessfully for a change in Jedi practices for him to marry her. He leaves the Jedi Order (but remains a general who uses a lightsaber) in order to marry Padme, leading to his first falling out with the Jedi. The movie ends with an exciting raid that Anakin and the Jedi carry out in their starfighters (echoing Episode IV's attack on the Death Star and showing that they are still comrades). At the end of that raid, Obi-Wan and other Jedi uncover evidence tying Senator Palpatine (an ambitious, ruthless politician pushing for the Republic to extend emergency powers and expand its military capacity, and who is gaining support in the Senate) and the entire military branch of the Republic – the Moffs etc. – to the prolonging of the conflict as well as cruel war crimes, and to the development of illegal cloning technology. Obi-Wan in shock is the end of Episode 1.[Note: The Moffs and the military brass are the key missing ingredient in the prequels. They propped up the Empire in the Original Trilogy -- many a real-world coup has happened with military backing.]Episode 2 - The Dawn of EmpireObi-Wan informs the Jedi Council of his discovery, and the Jedi confront the Republican Senate with the information. However, Palpatine and the military arm of the Senate successfully discredit the Jedi, leaving the Jedi no choice but to secede from their position as protectors of the Republic. Several senators sympathetic to the Jedi cause, including Padme, meet up with the Jedi to discuss next steps. When the Jedi uncover the fact that Palpatine is a full blown Sith Lord, they attempt to confront him, but are framed as traitors to the Republican cause, forcing them to flee and join forces with the secessionists, who the Jedi now realise were right all along. This puts Anakin squarely in conflict with his former Order, as he is still loyal to the Republic. He grows increasingly cruel as he fights to protect the Republic. [Important point: Anakin/Darth Vader in the Original Trilogy acted not necessarily out of evil but out of a simplistic idealism that he was ‘protecting’ the Republic/Empire against chaos and rebellion, albeit with an iron fist. Seeing his parents killed by pirates may be why he so firmly supports order over 'lawless' rebels.] Padme is torn between Anakin and the secessionist movement, but when she discovers she is pregnant she keeps it secret and joins the secessionists to protect her children from an increasingly violent Anakin. She gives birth to twins, and they are kept secret by the Jedi. They grow up a wee bit (which is how Leia ‘remembers’ her mother, who is understandably ‘sad’).Meanwhile, Palpatine is elected Supreme Chancellor of the Senate to confront the Jedi threat, and given extensive emergency powers. He titles himself ‘The First Citizen’ and orders the construction of a massive fleet, and legalises cloning technology to create large disposable armies. He starts to throw the full military might of the Republic at the Jedi, and puts ever-loyal super-soldier Anakin at the head of the army. There is a series of huge battles, and for a while the Jedi (and the secessionist army led by Padme) manage to hold the Republican forces at bay, but before long, Anakin and his army are on the secessionist base planet. There is a fateful showdown, with Anakin and Padme leading massive opposing armies. Eventually, Anakin is confronted and surrounded by an army of Jedi Knights, including Obi-Wan etc., and he engages in an epic lightsaber battle where he single-handedly fights off tens of Jedi Knights (who are holding back because they don’t want to kill him – BUT HOW COOL WOULD THAT SCENE BE?!)However, during the battle Padme is accidentally killed, which sends Anakin into a murderous rage, and he overloads on the Dark Side and starts killing Jedi Knights. Obi-Wan confronts him to stop his rampage, and manages to slow him down and gain the upper hand. Anakin refuses to give up, and is eventually tragically maimed by Obi-Wan (and other Jedis). At that moment, another huge Republican starship and military contingent arrive and attack the secessionists, who beat a hasty retreat. Anakin is rescued and taken back to Palpatine. At this point he is a seething mass of rage, having lost his wife and limbs and feeling betrayed by his former Order, and is easily made a Sith disciple by Palpatine (with a few displays of force lightning to show who is boss). Having turned, he is fixed up into his Darth Vader suit (maybe an early prototype) and given the order to hunt down and kill all the remaining Jedi. End of Episode 2.Episode 3 - The Hunting of the Jedi[Note: You realise in the actual prequels that you never see Darth Vader fight any Jedi other than Obi-Wan and temple guards/kids. Yet, in Episode IV Obi-Wan says that Darth Vader hunted down and killed all the Jedi. This is where it should have happened, to establish Vader’s badassness.]This is a pursuit episode a la Hitchcock. Darth Vader is hunting Jedi, and Obi-Wan and Yoda are trying frantically to (a.) save the Order, (b.) hide Anakin’s baby children from him, and (c.) help the secessionists/kick-start the Rebellion, in that order. (This explains why Obi-Wan and Yoda end up hiding on obscure planets, instead of just being deserters). It was only a matter of time, but the Jedi and the secessionists are a rabble at this point. The inexorable industrial military complex of the Republic has largely stamped out the war, and Palpatine, in the process of declaring victory has also named himself Emperor of the newly minted GALACTIC EMPIRE. The Grand Moffs and the rest of the military are more than happy to back his declaration, largely neutering any dissent from the Senate.Vader has been given a special Jedi hunting task force (some dark apprentices, a bunch of Jedi killing droids, maybe even a General Grievous etc.), and we see him hunt several Jedi down, be it by raining fire from space with his Star Destroyer, doing a search-and-destroy with some ground troops (early AT-STs et al), dogfighting Jedi in his starfighter, or just straight up mano-a-mano lightsaber combat (and force-choking and stuff-throwing). Maybe Palpatine/Darth Sidious joins in on particularly odious tasks like hunting Mace Windu, but in one of the fights, even though they kill the Jedi, Palpatine is disfigured, so steps back into the shadows, to command from afar. Vader’s suit is gradually upgraded, perhaps as he is further injured in fights. Every Jedi kill further erases any trace of Anakin, until there is only Vader left. He even says it during a fight, when a former Jedi comrade appeals desperately to “Anakin”, and he says, “Anakin Skywalker is dead. I am Darth Vader. I killed Anakin Skywalker”, before killing the Jedi.Obi-Wan and Yoda realise that the Jedi are being obliterated, and make contingency plans for a restarting of the Jedi Order. They re-discover ‘spirit form’ training, an ancient Jedi skill that had fallen out of practice (largely due to mis-use), which was a powerful way to communicate after death. They believed that this would be the most powerful way to restart the Order, as death wouldn’t mean the end of their influence. As spirits unbounded by space, they could lead a large group of apprentices across the galaxy without having to be physically present, thus being even more powerful than their corporeal bodies, which could only be in one place at a time. They also saw the training that they could pass on as more powerful than their physical skills, thus Obi-Wan’s comment to Vader that “if you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine”, i.e. essentially immortal and omnipresent teachers. Thus their plan was to retreat and learn this skill, and restart the Order with force-sensitive apprentices when the time was right, starting with the offspring of Anakin. After several close misses, Vader finally tracks down the remnants of the Order, and in a desperate last stand, the remaining Jedi Knights sacrifice themselves in order to help Obi-Wan and Yoda escape, maybe blowing everything up to fake Obi-Wan and Yoda’s deaths. Satisfied, Vader returns to the Emperor to oversee the start of the construction of the Death Star. The trilogy ends with Obi-Wan going to Tatooine with baby/toddler Luke (where he has tracked down remaining Skywalker family), and Yoda taking baby/toddler Leia to Bail Organa and exhorting Bail to ‘keep the spirit of rebellion alive’.--That’s it!p.s. Please forgive any EU continuity errors. I haven’t taken that into account at all.p.p.s. Insert fan favourites (Mon Mothma, Darth Maul, R2-D2, C3PO, other cameos etc.) as necessary.(Edit: Can't wait for Episode VII premiere in Melbourne, Australia midnight tonight; Our seat numbers are funny too..almost BB-8!
