After going through many videos online, official documentation released by IIT Bombay, etc. Came up with following,Gate 2021 is going to be organised by IIT Bombay. Refer previous papers for understanding difficulty level of gate papers when IIT Bombay organizes gate exam. But thats for later, when you cover entire syllabus. Remember one thing questions for gate exams are gathered from professors of different IIT’s. So what you see in exam, is just a fraction of total questions gathered by Organizing institute. Only because of this, different IIT’s have different difficulty level and its usually similar for a particular IIT over many years. So this analysis is also important to be mentally prepared for exam. But keep it last in your queue.Changes Applicable to all branches :Previously there were 25 gate papers now its 27. Following papers are newly added,Environmental Science and Engineering,Humanities and Social SciencesA student may appear for two gate papers at most. One is primary and other one is secondary. Secondary paper depends on your primary paper. For Example if your primary is CS, you may choose math. If your primary is civil, then you may choose Env. Sc. and Eng. or Agri. etc. (See image attached below for more)Thirds year students are allowed to appear for gate exam.
