The only time I’ve had an ISP or MSP not approve this kind of contract change was the one time that the ISP itself was changing legal hands and they could not legally approve the contract.Just talk to your account rep, they’re generally good guys and happy to help out a valued customer.Oh, and as to the bandwidth increase or decrease, I do not manage bandwidth based on costs, it’s based on needs, so the contract term and link type are not intrinsically linked in my line of work. I put a product out that has very specific requirements ahead of time and has had an official RFP and we buy the link that suits those needs. They’re all engineered solutions.So yeah we don’t ask for more bandwidth just “cause”.
