I appeared for first day first show (intentional error)Scored 386I got 354/450 and 32/36 in bonus.I remember my physics marks only which were 100.I'd heard bonus questions were of advanced level but I found them to be slightly easier than rest of the exam.I didn't prepare for bitsat but still somehow ended up with a good score. I took one mock on mypat for bitsat on 15th , got 318 in that. I'd no pressure for performing good in BITSAT as I already had some good NIT as back up.My mains % in jan was 99.706In September it was 99.853, ended up with air 1742.For anyone interested in books that I referedPhysicsConcept of physics (only theory sometimes) , problems in general physics (did quite some questions from here)MathsA das gupta, I don't recommend it. Go with cengage , vikas gupta, sl loni.ChemistryPhysical: ncertInorganic : jd lee, ncertOrgainc: ms chauhan (for questions)Edit:Clarification part for ncert , I didn't do questions from ncert for physical chemistry, I used it as theory reference.The books are additional to course notes, coaching material which includes modules, mocks, gmp and questions given in class, also several other questions that appear on my batch group which probably cover some part of DC pandey, cengage, n awasthi etc.The most important part is to have a healthy competitive peer group.

The lower order contributed heavily with Anil Kumble scoring 87 and Harbhajan scoring 63, before India pile up at 526.With Australia, put into chase a tricky first innings score set up by India, they were given a head-start with a 159 run opening partnership. Led by 3 centurions: Hayden 103, Ponting 140 and Clarke 118, Australia frustrate India by scoring 563, a lead of 37.Part 3: The Challenge:India were now in a very dicey situation. The pitch was opening up. The Australian quicks were breathing fire with Mitchie Johnson and Brett Lee sharing the new ball.And again,Irfan Pathan out for a duck. With India still 35 Behind. 1–2.Rahul Dravid takes one Stuart Clark delivery on his thigh. Retired hurt at 11.Score 1–57.The other batsmen could not contribute either.Sachin Tendulkar: 13 (36)Sourav Ganguly: 18 (38)VVS Laxman: 12 (30)MS Dhoni: 20(44)But Sehwag had other plans.Part 4: One-Man Domination:This was when Sehwag’s extreme defensive game came into foray. He took on the hits. If he loses his wicket, India would reel in for another defeat on an already forgettable tour. So he hung in there. Ducking the bouncers, leaving deliveries. How often do you see that?He carried his team single-handedly on a pitch where all the other Indian greats failerd to cross the mark of 20. He reached, what could probably be his slowest 100, with the team score being 128. He continued his steady pace of innings and almost anchored India to safety before he nicked one to a fine catch by Adam Gilchrist off Andrew Symonds bowling.V. Sehwag c. Gilchrist b. Symonds 151 (236b) Minutes: 354 SR: 63.98The job was almost done, and from then on the Indian tail’s blockathon managed to successfully save the test match.(He reached his century with 1–128 on the scoreboard. Magical)(How often do you see Sehwag ducking and resisting to swack them out of the ground)(Outside off and Sehwag with an awkward leave. Miraculous!)(151 out of 269. And do have a look at the Fall of Wickets too!)So this is all Sehwag is about. There are times people doubt his credibility and lack of adaptiveness. What hurts is people at times fail to acknowledge all that he has done to the Indian Test Cricket scene beyond his triple hundreds.He was a team player, forever. And this was just a macabre of an innings from him.Thank you, Sire, for the memories!

It depends a little on your background - one benefit of being in a startup-project course, is meeting people (whom you may work with, on a venture later in life, if not right away) and so, I would strongly encourage you to do a course that is not in your school (e.g. if you are an engineer, trying STRAMGT 356/366 and if you are an MBA, taking MS&E 273 or E245).If you prefer lecture/case based classes, MS&E 270/271 are good. STRAMGT 354 too has cases and good speakers (Biz Stone, Eric Schmidt, Peter Fenton, Meg Whitman among others this time) but is GSB only, although you can sit-in if you are non-GSB. CS183 (Startups, by Peter Thiel) is also being offered this time.Taking a d.school course (Launchpad or d.bootcamp) is a nice way to learn about a different way of approaching problems (design thinking) as well as to meet people from Med/Law/Ed/other schools.My personal take is that after you take a few of these courses, you tend to see things repeating, which is probably a sign that you should either start building something or if you don't have the skills for that, taking a course where you would gain hard skills (CS106B and/or CS142 for Rails)
