But I am guessing you are looking for averages rather than every single data point.Depending on which year and which particular IIM you look at, the composition is likely to be as follows:1. Consulting - 20-40% of the batch2. Banking - 20-40% of the batchWhat is important here is how you define the two things mentioned above. A consultant in McK and one in IBM are technically both consultants. Some IIMs will however specify consulting as Management Consulting, and will indicate this in their placement report. The Wipro consultant is thus likely to be classified under the IT section of the report.Similarly, banking can be split into Investment Banking or Retail or Commercial Banking.The point being there are many ways of reporting these figures.Now that we have random statistics out of the way, let us get to the more specific questions you have regarding sector specific roles on offer. Once again, I will work with averages.1. Banking - Associate. You typically start of as an associate on a particular 'desk'. In many cases this translates into making PPTs and reports.2. Consulting - Associate or Junior Consultant. Companies may have different names for this but the idea is more or less the same. Most of the time will be spent on gathering primary and secondary data and (you guessed it) making PPTs and reports.3. Marketing - Assistant Brand Manager. Once again, the title may vary from one company to the other, but the overall role will be more or less the same. You will typically be involved in creating some sort of 'engagement' and working closely with a Brand Manager. This reply is more applicable for an FMCG like HUL or P&G but should be a general fit for other marketing roles as well. Once again, good amount of time will be spent on making PPTs and reports.4. IT - This is special in the sense that IT companies for the most part would like to have someone with an existing IT background (compare and contrast this against the first three profiles where the company is looking for smart people, not experienced ones). Thus lateral placements are preferred here (a hiring program designed specifically for people with 2 years or more of work experience). I believe a certain level of sadism to be inherent in psychopathy, and whereas empathy and guilt would likely prevent a neurotypical from killing an animal, this would not deter a psychopath.The myth is that all serial killers have killed animals, but there is definitely a correlation between likeliness of killing animals out of curiosity or fun and low levels of empathy. Although, I have read anecdotal evidence of a primary psychopath killing a pet out of annoyance. This would be an act easily enough done by a psychopath, although to be fair the climate and upbringing of the psychopath could still be a significant factor.My own conclusion is thus, that it is not primary psychopathy or low empathy per se that is linked to animal cruelty, but rather low empathy as a result of abuse.
