Why are many non-Portuguese-speaking countries like Turkey and Indonesia trying to join the 'Community of Portuguese Language Countries'?The Community of Portuguese Language Countries[1][2] includes 9 Member States which are united by having Portuguese as an official language: Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Timor-Leste.The organisation goes beyond promoting the Portuguese language. The difference between educational technology and instructional technology has to do the scope of the fields. Educational technology embraces all areas of technology in any field of education. While instructional technology covers the processes and systems of learning and instruction, educational technology includes other systems used in the process of developing human capability.
