My ex still planned to pick him up for the holidays and I encouraged their relationship by offering them an extra week to spend together. When my son came back home, they seemed closer and I was happy for them both.Then five months later, my ex slapped me with custody papers. The trust was also broken with my son when I found secret texts between him and his father. I blocked my ex and his family on my social media, took away my son's phone, and would only let my son talk to his dad in my presence. Perhaps this was wrong, but my ex was manipulating my son. It was also clear by now that this man would do everything in his power to destroy my relationship with my child.Don't ever believe that women can't lose custody of their children. I can attest to this as my ex lied, twisted the truth, and to my utter disbelief was able to completely fool the court. I suffered, grieved, and cried enough to fill oceans.
