A dash of lemon + a spoon of curd softly massaged into your facial skin will do wonders. This is my holy grail. Something I like doing everyday. It’s surely messy but hey come on its your face which is in question. Plus it’s pretty cheap, so a win win!Whole egg + curd or Whole egg + green tea for your hair - When I was 16, I started straightening my hair. It sure gave me beautiful straight hair for a certain amount of time but the results after washing my hair was horrendous. I used to loose hair in clumps and had mousy hair till I straightened it. I am a Bengali woman. My mom still has beautiful waist length hair. And I had destroyed mine through this rigorous heat process. So I came upon this remedy which was eggs. And man they do work. They will give your hair volume, shine and soften it. After using it continuously for about 3–4 years I could somewhat repair the damage I had caused.Never shampoo your hair and not condition it.Make sure to completely wash off all makeup - Try and go as easy as possible on your base makeup. Preferably try and avoid the foundation and concealer. Use a light compact from some good company or a BB cream if you must. I am addicted to my compact as well.Using Besan + Haldi – Use a mixture of besan and haldi with some milk or curd on your face. Skip all your expensive facewashes and try this. Turmeric powder or Haldi has anti-bacterial properties and has been used as a medicine in our culture since forever. Besan Or Chick-pea flour is a good and natural exfoliating agent. If possible apply it all over your body and then scrub it off after it gets semi - dry. A bit messy but you will be left with soft, beautiful skin.Steaming - Steaming your face every three four days helps. Preferably do this at night. Complete your moisturizer routine and then hit your bed.Ghee- Use some ghee instead of Chapstick when you are home. Helps!I have reached that age where I have started taking care of my skin to reap the benefits later. So every night without fail I apply pure almond oil around my eyes. The Hamdard one’s available in the Indian markets are fine. And then I take a mixture of almond+ castor oil in the ratio of 1:3 and massage my face. The massaging should be done very softly. And then I hit the bed dreaming about handsome prince’s. :DIf you do the same you should have glowing skin in the morning. This is especially helpful for women with dry to normal skin. I’m sorry I am not much help for the oily skinned beauties.Get up in the morning and have at least one to two glasses of warm water with fresh lemon. This should regulate your bowel movements and cleanse your system. Being fit internally is very important. Try and replace your sugar intake with that of fruits. Make sure to have some salad regularly. The colorful your palate, the better for your skin. Drink a lot of water. Your bowel movements and urine will be proper indicators of how you are taking care of yourself. And most importantly sleep! Nothing will be a bigger indicator of tiredness on our face other than lack of sleep. Talking from personal experience!These are some of the greatest beauty secrets I know. SET UP YOUR MACROS:1 g of fat= 9 calories.1 g of carbohydrates=4 calories.1 g of protein= 4 calories.Your daily protein intake needs to be at least 1 g of protein per pound of your body weight to maintain or even build lean muscle mass.30–40 percent of your daily calorie intake should be from fats. Important to maintain the body’s hormonal balance.The rest of your calorie intake should be from your carbohydrates.6. STRUCTURE YOUR DIET PROPERLY. Include green leafy vegetables in your diet.
