The Russian foreign Ministry has published a list of 53 countries whose residents will be able to enter Kaliningrad oblast with an e-visa.The Governor of the region Anton Alikhanov said:“We Expect that a simplified visa regime will be an additional incentive for the development of tourism, international projects in the sphere of culture and education, will contribute to a favorable investment climate. This will strengthen the status of the Kaliningrad region as a territory of hospitality, open to guests and mutually beneficial business cooperation."According to the Ministry of foreign Affairs electronic visa is issued free of charge, without charging any fees, within a period not exceeding 4 calendar days, irrespective of weekends and holidays. Its design does not require prompts or confirmations – you only need to fill out an application on the website of the consular Department of the MFA of the Russian Federation, attaching a digital photograph as an electronic file. No other documents for electronic visa is not required. Electronic visas are issued for a validity of 30 days.Foreign citizens who received e-visas for visiting the Kaliningrad region, have the right to stay and move only within the territory of the Kaliningrad region.
