Recipe Cookbook: Fill & Download for Free

I love recipe / cookbooks.My online publishing company published close to 100 recipe / cookbooks to date. Some make thousands on autopilot every single month. Some make less. But it’s always cookin’! :)And I even taught many students around the world how to do this in detail who’ve paid good chunks of money so pay attention!Here’s some reasons why I love recipe / cookbooks:It’s mainstream. Not everyone will be interested in “candle making” hobby or Cryptocurrency. But EVERYONE have to eat and cook. Which means, bigger potential number of customers. And bigger potential number of customers = bigger potential to make more money in your pocket! If you want to make not chump change but a sustainable, full-time living with publishing, you need to sell in VOLUMES. In fact, you’d want to ONLY publish books that has the potential to hit a home run. And recipe/cookbook is just that. I’ve had books in the past that brought in close to 6 figures from ONE book.It’s cheap and easy to create. Recipes cannot be copyrighted because it’s FACT. The way that is presented can be copyrighted, however. So, an easy way around this is to RE-WRITE some of the recipes in your own words or get someone else to do it for you. I’ll explain how to do this later down in this post.It’s evergreen. There’s ALWAYS a “trending” diet or cooking frenzy you can leverage on. That means, going back to point #1, there’s evergreen potential for HOME RUNS. It’s something you can learn once, and use over and over!Sold yet? ;)If so, here’s how you can start one quickly and structure it so you can slug one out of the park!STEP 1Go to Amazon Cookbooks category and observe what kind of recipe / cookbooks are trending right now.Biggest mistake people make is they try to create something that is totally new. What’s counter-intuitive and bit paradoxical is that you must SELL WHAT’S ALREADY SELLING. So if “Keto Diet” is hot right now, you must sell “Keto Diet” cookbooks. You can’t do “Cabbage Diet”. Make sense?STEP 2Now that you know what kind of recipe / cookbook to create, you’ll either want to hire someone to create someone from scratch or rewrite already existing recipes and add additional value.As mentioned, recipes are facts and it can NOT be copyrighted.But way that “fact” is presented and written can be copyrighted so you’d want to re-write that. For example, “Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.” You can change it to “Drip olive oil in large Dutch oven and heat it in medium-high heat.” Make sense? Not too sophisticated I know but it’ll do the job.STEP 3Add additional value or your “unique twist” to make your book unique and different. It can be anything that your readers might find useful. Additional commentary on your recipes, pictures, grocery lists, etc will do.STEP 4Get an eye-popping cover created.Warning: Do NOT design the cover yourself unless you love the sound of crickets. Covers are 1 of 3 most important elements to sell your book. Great looking covers are one that has high definition graphics (because people associate resolution of covers with quality) so you can charge higher prices easily, with BIG and bold letters (because it needs to capture fleeting browsers in 0.5 seconds even on small smartphone screens), and one that has contrasting colors so it is extremely legible and attention-grabbing. Got it?STEP 5Get your book manuscript and cover together and upload it onto Amazon Kindle.Make sure you have your keywords in your title, subtitle, and keywords (you get 7). Earlier you have your keyword in the title, higher Amazon is going to rank your book in the book ranking page. Make sure you sell it on ALL countries (like Canada, Australia, Japan, etc) because it’ll be extra income for you without any additional effort!Also, be sure to enroll in KDP Select for an important reason I’ll mention in next step.Your book should be available for sale within 12–24 hours and you’ll get your sales recorded in real-time on your KDP dashboard.STEP 6Once it’s online, submit your book to various book promotion sites!If you’ve enrolled in KDP Select, you have the option to get 5 days of free promotion which is killer.Because during this time, you can submit your book to various free book promo sites and it’ll get your book downloaded thousands and thousands of times creating massive exposure to your book!And once it’s over, it’ll even get you ranking high up in keyword search rankings!Here’s some sites you can use for this.STEP 7Now you know the formula, rinse and repeat.Ideally, publish books consistently in the same topic for a bit because a person who purchases one recipe/cookbook on your diet (e.g. Keto) and have enjoyed it will buy more from you… over and over again! This is how you build a brand!You’ll see passive income royalties from these books depositing into your account like clockwork every month - whether you’re on computer or away from vacation!Yes, it takes a bit of effort but if you do it right, it can accumulate into substantial amounts of cash.Once you have around 10–15 of these cranking out passive income every month, that’s when it gets really fun.Because then, some people use it to pay for car payments, loans, mortgage, vacation, toys and more!Hope you enjoyed this!
