My family are on a Tier 2 work visa minister of religion. We are getting child tax credit but I have heard that I am not supposed to be getting it.

Check your visa or BRP itself. It says you cannot claim Public funds - GOV.UK. Unless you are a national of Algeria, Israel, Morocco, San Marino, Tunisia or Turkey, for whom there is a special arrangement, you are not entitled to claim child tax credit.I advise you stop claiming immediately, and that you seek immigration legal advice about whether and how you can limit the damage. This is likely to include paying back all the money you have claimed.

Feedbacks from Our Clients

I needed to transfer a large number of phone contacts from a Nokia Windows phone to an iPhone and needed a reliable way to do the export. I was happy to pay the £25 charged for CocoDoc MobileTrans as the product claimed "1 click phone to phone transfer" via USB cables linking both phones via a laptop running the MobileTrans software. The software was listed as supporting my Nokia phone. I downloaded and activated the software and ran it as per the instructions, however, no contacts were transferred at all. I tried multiple times, but with no success. Eventually I contacted CocoDoc support who then informed me that their web-site was incorrect and the process would not work with a Windows phone. They provided a modified process that would require me to export from my Nokia phone via the Windows "People" contact manager. This process was far more complicated and involved than a "one click" transfer. I followed the process and did not work at all. CocoDoc were trying to impose a useless process that could be found for free on the internet. By this time I had spent £25, wasted several hours of my time, several days waiting for CocoDoc support to reply to my emails, and had transferred ZERO contacts. I therefore asked CocoDoc for a refund of my £25 as I was resigned to doing a manual transfer of my contacts, and re-key them into my iPhone. Although the MobileTrans software had not worked at all, and CocoDoc had acknowledged that their website had posted incorrect information relating to transfers from my Nokia to an iPhone, they refused to refund me my £25. Indeed their support / customer service have stopped replying to me emails. I would certainly expect more from a reputable company. I will be taking up this matter with Trading Standards and will seek legal redress. I advise anyone wishing to transfer contacts from a Nokia windows phone to check very very carefully before buying the MobileTrans software, or having anything to do with CocoDoc for that matter
