What is the toughest sketch you have drawn?

The toughest sketch that I have drawn has to be the portrait of my mom.Original picture. The difficult part was to make the intricate details of the saree look real and also I wanted to capture the same emotions. The smile on her face in this portrait is what makes me happy.Wish I could show this to her.I did this maybe one and a half years back when I was still new to making portraits. It’s done on a normal full size chart paper. This took me about 30–35 hours to complete this.Edit 1: To everyone asking why I said “I wish I could show this to her” is because I made this portrait for her birthday on 1st October 2016 as a memory to cherish her all my life. I lost her in a car accident in December 2015.I always wanted to make a portrait for her since I started sketching but for some reason or another I kept procrastinating it. I never knew she won’t be there to see it when I will really make a portrait for her.But I am sure she must have been proud and happy seeing it up from there and smiling :)

What things make you wonder, "Who approved this design?"

Women’s clothes. Which bastard made women’s clothing so they don’t have any pockets?Let’s take a look at jeans.Men’s jeans have actual pockets. Women’s jeans don’t have actual functioning pockets. According to a study of 80 jeans with a 32 inch waist, women’s pockets are smaller. Given they have the same waist, they shouldn’t be.These are all pockets from a 32 inch waist jeans. The colored outlines are the average pocket size. Obviously, women’s pockets are crap.In the middle ages, women had POCKETS. I could probably shove an entire small tablet in one of those middle ages pockets. You know what I could also shove in there? Keys, student ID, pencil, eraser, pen, small emergency kit, phone, and a whole lot more stuff in one of those pockets.Yes, this looks very inconvenient, but it’s meant to be worn under a skirt. Why can’t modern people realize that giant pockets are extremely convenient? Now, the only realistic thing to carry around that I can shove into my pockets are a few hair ties and a few Band-Aids. That’s not a lot. I can’t even shove my fingers into the jeans I wear, let alone my entire hands. The point is, some women want pockets in their pants. Maybe the clothing manufacturers should start sewing in pockets that can actually hold stuff. Also, they should include hip size in the sizing charts for all pants. Then, maybe finding something that fits wouldn’t be too hard.Edit: Since a bunch of people in the comment section are saying that women have purses, there will always be people like me who tend to forget stuff including a purse. Purses are also dead weight, especially when going through security checkpoints. Also, for those saying that women prefer smaller pockets, chances are, women probably aren’t aware of the fact that there are certain brands that actually have pockets. If you give me an affordable brand that actually has pockets, I’m probably gonna end up buying it.Edit 2: I can fit an entire Ti-84 Ce in the pockets of a pair of boy pants, but I also have a similar sized women’s pants and about a third of the calculator was sticking out. I know this because I was walking around with a calculator for no reason.

How does Godzilla compare with the Kaiju of Pacific Rim?

I found this size chart comparing the new Godzilla with Pacific Rim's kaijus and a few other movie monsters.(By Jarsolav Kosmina)The sizes aren't entirely accurate, Godzilla is about 350 ft in the 2014 movie, and some of the kaijus are listed with slightly different heights in their wiki pages. In any case, Godzilla stands as tall as some of the largest kaijus from Pacific Rim, definitely comparable to the Category IV monsters. Only the Category V Slattern would be significantly larger.I would think that Godzilla is capable of easily defeating at least one Jaeger. Being taller than all of them (250-280 ft), Godzilla will have the perfect angle for his atomic roar to hit the jaeger full in its face. Two opponents would be tougher to handle, but I think it will take more than that to take down Godzilla.
