To choose cricket as profession is like a lottery.you must have a good luck on your side .As you need fitness,skill,passion and to be among good books of the selectors.You need good health and fitness atleast for 10–15 years to span your career.You need form and skill to contribute to the winning cause.Today's cricket has become technology based.you remain at radar of the opposition and analyst finds your weeknesses as against spin or pace.against good length or rising deliveries.And soon you may become off colour.Internal politics may mar your career any time.There is hard competition for every spot.Suppose you are wicket keeper and a senior is performing well he may block the path of your career.as it has happened in the case of parthiv Patel,Dinesh Kartik,Naman ojha etc.because Dhoni performed well and spanned his career.This has happened with spinners line Rajinder Goel and Shivalkar in70s when famous qurdupet of Bedi, chandra,prasanna and Venkat were automatic choice for national duty.The same has happened with batsmen like Wasim jaffar,Manoj Tiwari and Amol Majoomdaar.Let us see his one day recordHis leg break bowling is another asset4/61 is his best bowlingTiwari was selected purely on merit he scored 796 runs at an average of 99.50 but injuries ruled him out of contention.he was selected three times in the national side but form and fitness kept on haunting his career .
