What if the House flips to Democrats in the 2018 midterm elections, but the Senate becomes more strongly Republican?

As of now, it’s become increasingly accepted that Democrats will capture the House of Representatives. Current trends and predictions give Democrats, on average, a ten-point lead on the Generic Congressional ballot.Although, it should be noted that it is very possible that Democrats could win the House popular vote by multiple points, but still fail to win the House (You can thank a Gerrymandered map for that)But one scenario that isn’t getting much traction, is the increasing possibility that the Senate is going to be split - deadlock and 50/50. In this scenario, Republicans, of course, will retain their majority(courtesy of Mike Pence)If Democrats want to capture the Senate, they’ll do so at the expense of a liberal, status-quo type majority. I say this because it’ll boil down to two Senate races:(This is assuming that Democrats pick up all seats in which they are currently leading in the polls. If we go by that statistic: Dems hold onto most of their seats, Heidi(ND) loses, Democrats pick up seats in Arizona & and Nevada.)Beto O’Rourke(D)-TX 1 in 4 chances of winningPhil Bredesen(D)-TN 1 in 3 chances of winningBoth of these candidates will be mavericks, albeit on different sides of the spectrum, but in conclusion: a pain the Democratic Leadership’s ass; they’ll both break ranks on numerous occasions. But, even if Democrats lose BOTH of these seats, we’re back at a 50–50 split. So in accordance with your answer, let me say this:A president winning a state does not mean that the presidents' party will win the statewide office. Every election, followed by the midterm thereof can be a testament to this. But there will be no bloodbath, and Democrats will do fairly OK, but there most likely won’t be a “blue wave.”However, even one chamber flipping should scare President Trump. With a majority comes Subpoena power, and Republicans have already put together a short list of things Democrats will potentially investigate, should they gain a majority in any chamber. Democrats are going to investigate EVERYTHING. But you know the best part of Democrats potentially taking the House? None other than:“Low-IQ waters” A.K.A next in line to become chair of House Financial Services Committee.Waters will have broad subpoena powers, and will likely subpoena for Trump's tax returns - the irony. But for me, the best part is we will possibly have a legislative branch that will reign in on the president's power.FACT CHECK: Could Maxine Waters Subpoena Trump’s Bank Records If Democrats Take the House?Republicans circulate list of investigations Democrats could initiate if House flips: ReportTennessee - 2018 Senate ForecastTexas - 2018 Senate Forecast

Why is Stormy Daniels even an issue? It was prior to his presidency. What about Clinton/Lewinsky?

Either you were not born in the Clinton era to ask such a question or you’re just fishing for a raise. Either way, I’ll give you as simple an answer as possible.CLINTON:An investigation that began as a look into a Whitewater land deal malpractice by the special counsel of that day, Kenneth Starr, went sideways (after he came up empty handed) into a look at Clinton’s sex life. On paper, it was between two consenting adults, albeit with no sexual intercourse performed, as acknowledged by Lewinsky herself in the report (she said it was mostly oral sex), but the house GOP nonetheless pushed to have Clinton testify under oath — to which Clinton said he’d never had any form of sexual relationship with “that woman.” But with the discovery of the now infamous “blue dress” with his DNA on it, Clinton was found to have lied under oath and was impeached. So, he received his punishment. End of story.TRUMP:Trump has had multiple affairs with numerous women since being married to his wife Melania (the marriage being a byproduct fallout from an affair with Melania while married to Marla Maples). Stormy happened to be one of those women.Stormy said it was also consensual. So, on paper this should be a “nothing burger.” Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, this nothing burger had turned into an “eat as you like free buffet.”How?Well, Trump via his lawyer Cohen paid her 130K two weeks prior to the election. That money is where the crux of the problem lies. Now team Trump will be embroiled in campaign finance malpractice/fraud if found to be in violation. This is red meat for the Electoral commission and Mueller. If Trump is subpoenaed to testify under oath and lies about it, then guess what? Impeachment. Not only that, they might not need to even bring him in to testify. If based on election campaign rules, a law was broken … that’s more trouble. Hence the all out war to keep Stormy silent. And before Mueller or the electoral commission could even blink, Stormy filed a suit in a Federal court demanding that Trump testify under oath acknowledging he played a role in all this “hush money-gate.” Stormy’s lawyer sited the ruling in the Clinton case that a civil suit can be brought against a sitting President. An opening Trump’s lawyers didn’t see coming. So, now with Trump’s “fixer” Cohen and Trump being sued, it sets the stage for some very interesting drama.ON A FINAL NOTE:Let me tie in a moral quandary (some might call it plain ol’ hypocrisy) of the GOP/Republicans/Evangelicals.When Clinton was on that Lewinsky hot seat, GOP Congressman Nnewt Gingrich bellowed from the hilltop that “Clinton lacks the moral compass to be President.” He said this even while he, Nnewt, was in bed having his 2nd extra marital affair (unknown by the public at the said time). The same Nnewt comes back in 2011 and wants to be President. The double standards and hypocrisy is mind bogglingOn their pro-life stance: Take the congressman from Tennessee Dr Scott DesJarlais for instance. He was the supreme pro-life champion in congress who, under the cover of darkness, went and asked his mistress to have an abortion 3 times!!! And his Evangelical base that sees immorality only if you are a Democrat reelected him back in office. A similar thing with the disgraced GOP senator Tim Murphy. Had he run, I’m sure his base would still vote for him.

What are my options to get my ex served in Tennessee? He has avoided being served by the sheriff's dept for 2 months now. What else can I do? I've already given all the info that I can. They know where he his, but he won't answer the door.

In Tennessee process servers dont have to be registered or licensed. Anyone over the age of 18, not a party to the action can serve him. What I would do is have a friend he doesnt know, in a car he doesn't know, do a little re-con, see where he goes, and serve him there. It doesn't have to be the Sheriff serving him. I'm assuming it's a subpoena? It doesn't have to be handed to him, as long as its given to someone. I got one while I was in the hospital in March, the deputy left it with my husband.

I have used other, more expensive services in the past so I was expecting lesser quality but was pleasantly surprised when the ease of use and quality was just as good and at a fraction of the price! It was very easy to jump in navigate through the software.
