Guidance Letter Sample: Fill & Download for Free

You want to write what is called a cover letter. It is called such because you send it with your resume, and it goes on top of the resume. Both should be only one page long. Don't staple them together; tri-fold them together. You can find plenty of examples of proper formatting and what to write with a simple Google search, but here is a basic outline.Paragraph one: introduce yourself by briefly explaining your qualifications, stating that your skills and abilities match the qualities they seek. Say how you learned of the job. This might be 4 sentences long.Paragraph two: expand on your abilities, providing the best examples of your experience. Tell some things about yourself that show your work ethic and dedication. This is the longest paragraph.Paragraph three: end by recommending a course of action, such as an interview or a chance to meet and further discuss how you can best serve the company.
