Yes and no. Many of my clients are on QB when they hire me, but so far none have stayed on QB once I showed them better options for their particular business where all of my clients are Govt contractors (companies whose customers are Federal Govt such as DOD, DOE, DARPA, etc. as the Govt is the largest customer in the country as they spend billions every year on everything from rockets to toilet paper and one of the best things about this customer is that they pay timely, oftentimes in 3–5 days).Anyway, in order to provide goods or services to these Govt customers, (which may be Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Universities, Veterans organizations and so many). You must have a proper job cost accounting system to be able to bill them properly and QuickBooks is not that system. So I would never recommend to my clients and hate to see so many doing things the hard way manually, thinking they are saving money by doing everything manually in Excel when they could just click a few times.
