T Ncsu: Fill & Download for Free

Not exactly a job interview, but I told this in my visa interview for f1 visa to USA and still got it approved somehow.I am very causal with everything in my life. I don't take things too seriously. So for my visa interview I went wearing t shirt and jeans as it was very hot in chennai(us embassy location where I had booked my slot for visa interview). There was no way I was wearing formal in such hot weather.After an hour my turn came for the actual visa interview.Visa interviewer: why USC?And he started typing something onto his computer.Me: actually I wanted gatech or ncsu, but didn't get an admit there.I was so casual that I didn't even realize what I had just said until he stopped typing and gave a shocked expression and asked me to repeat what I said.I just composed myself and told that I wanted gatech or ncsu, but I didn't get an admit in those two. USC was next on my list and it has a pretty decent course work and other positive is that the weather in Los Angeles is pleasant compared to other parts of the country( I don't like cold much).I was getting ready for the worst and thinking of answers that I can come up for any further questions. But he just smiled and said I am approving your visa. Have a nice stay in USA.I just ran out from there :)after all it wasn't a bad answer. Sometimes being honest works.

Well as I recall and I don't suspect it has changed NCSU is technically a Democracy. I say technically because when I was there the interest in NCSU Student government was tepid at best. I know during my time at NCSU Bill T. Cat won a Senate seat as a write in candidate. It was announced that since Bill The Cat was not qualified to serve, since he was not a student, his campaign was disqualified.

That’s news to me. I’ve worked as a chemical engineer since earning my B.S. in ChE from NCSU in 1983 (and later an M.S. in ’92 from NC A&T) with one 3-yr exception: 1985 - ’88, when I played full-time in a band with some college buddies. I’ve seen it go through cycles of excellent employment to something less than excellent. But I’ve never wondered does it have a future.Activities as a chemical engineer for me over the years have ranged from troubleshooting issues pertaining to airplane and truck tire parts, to halving make speeds for various adhesive substrates, to optimizing adhesive formulations for markings adhered to road surfaces. I don’t see issues associated with continuing to improve such products going away anytime soon.
