PDF Editor FAQ

How does omnipresent existence (Enlightenment) choose who or which person has to realize the omnipresent existence (Enlightenment) from the context of everyone is already enlightened but not realized?

Well, Teja already answered this in full, I think. I would just like to add a few angles to look at this:When you say “omnipresent existence (Enlightenment)”, you may be avoiding the word “God”, but nevertheless you are inferring a Supreme Ruler that rules over His Creation, deciding, thinking out (planing) and determining its unfolding. This requires duality: the separation of Creator from created. While you can disguise this by avoiding the word “God” or “Supreme Ruler”, this is the basic false premise of many religions (created through misinterpretation of those on whom the religions are based on, usually). It comes from the idea of oneself as doer — an entity with volition, power and authorship (authoring its own actions) — that can do something right or wrong to become “chosen”.”Maybe if I just play my cards right with this ‘omnipresent Existence’, I will be elected to be one of the realized enlightened ones.”It is quite a real possibility that the next stage for humanity is to consciously be who they are. I mean, the dog, the baby… they’re being who they are, absolutely effortlessly. But they don’t know of a possibility of being who they’re not. The child begins to lose himself — and eventually is lost as an adult. The return to innocence is the journey back to being yourself, as you were as a baby — only with conditioning. The conditioning got you in to the human club. At first you may have merely pretended that it’s true that you are a person; that when mommy sends a jet (spoon with food) into the Void (where you can’t see your head) there is something called a mouth there; that when the room spinned and was all blurry that was really you spinning and the room actually standing still. You gradually took everything you were told is true over what you actually saw in your own direct experience. The most poisonous untruth you drank was that you are locked up in a body; that somehow that little figure in the mirror has crawled out of there to where you are looking at it from — and it possesed you! It turned itself around 180 (so that it would face the right direction), climbed about 1 meter out of the mirror, probably traveling through your arms’ veins, and placed itself right where you are.How absurd! And yet… the conditioning got you into society, and this is important. But it should not, perhaps, be the last stage of development. ‘The adult’ is a functional capacity, that understands paying the bills and getting things done, etc. S/he understands things that a child naively sees as just appearing for him or her, with no idea that mommy and daddy had to work for it, for example. But this functionality and ability to complete checklists cannot possibly be the final frontier, can it? Everyone feels the emptiness of that, sooner or later. We all feel off-center. Consciously or subconsciously we yearn to return to center — that is, to be ourselves. When the way Home is found (simply put that guy in the mirror back in the mirror! And be Spotless Awareness — for that guy in the mirror — right where you are!), one is consciously him-or her-self. One can say “I am not a person”. A baby cannot say that because a baby does not yet have an idea that it is possible to hallucinate that one is a person. The Seer says it.Now Seeing Who You Really Are is infectious. I propose that is one of the main reasons Buddha spoke of the importance of Sangha. Douglas Harding opened his home to people, and spending time with each other — all of them Seers — it was far easier for them to stabilize as The One. It is not as easy when everybody is “emitting” separateness. But when everybody is “emitting” ‘I am the Essence that you are’ we fall into that, naturally. When invited, we warmly relax into Home. It’s the most natural thing. But the majority of society, by simply believing they are persons, says “Keep out. I’m here and you’re there.” Little do they know that I’m them…And so the next stage for humanity could very well be at a certain age in life to make the pilgrimage back Home, to Naturalness. This is intended in many societies, but doesn’t quite “take”. And yet, it would seem to be the natural next step: when you’ve become an adult and earned your entry into society as a functioning member, you at some stage go and hang out with Seers. It rubs on you and you begin to remember you are not a person in time and life isn’t about just achieving things. You remember that you are The Timeless One enjoying the show. You don’t stop being functional, on the contrary, everything you do is done better from The Center. That includes relationships! If this next stage of development should occur, then one could say the ‘omnipresent existence’ is choosing everyone. There is no specialness, because there is only One. If The One were to choose ‘someone’ to be consciously enlightened, that one must be special, perhaps better than the rest. I’m sure Jesus is tired of being seen that way; can you see him sighing?Which blade of grass gets to grow taller, and why? What has it done to deserve being closer to the sun?Which planet gets to be inhabited? Why that planet and not another? What did earth do right that mars did wrong? All of this is based on the premise that something is better than another (i.e. being close to the sun for the blade of grass, being inhabited for the planet). Of course from the “perspective” of The One, it is all blades of grass and all planets — how could it prefer one over the other if there isn’t an other? In the infinite expressions of itself, everything gets to be. Don’t take it personally. None of it is. Existence has nothing against a starving child, and nothing for the one who is conscious. Karl Renz said, “if you wake up, don’t take it personally.”All in all it’s all a play of apparent duality. Rich and poor, healthy and sick, consciously enlightened and unconsciously enlightened. These are all appearances: the No-thing appears to be all of this, but really all of this is No-thing. That is, there are no rich, no poor, no healthy, no sick, no enlightened, no unenlightened. At the end of the day it’s No-thing appearing as everything but never becoming anything. No one becomes consciously enlightened — the illusion that there was something to be other than No-thing falls away, like a leaf falls from a tree when it does, with no one controlling or deciding (it’s in spite of the leaf, not because of it!). And in that falling away, the most curious thing: nothing at all fell away, as no person was ever there to begin with. It’s always been No-thing.

Which plane is better: Airbus A330 or Boeing 777?

From a pilot’s perspective (current instructor on both types):I don’t care too much about cost or seat capacity, I care about operating the aircraft.Comfort: Airbus all the way. The A330 has comfortable pilot seats, a tray table and it is quiet. By comparison the B777 is like sitting on a park bench next to a waterfall on a windy day. Notice that comfort is top of this list. After 10 hours in the seat, it really matters!Systems: Both aircraft have very sophisticated systems with lots of redundancy. The Boeing probably wins out in this aspect; if pretty much anything breaks in flight, it’s no big deal at all. The checklists guide you carefully through a procedure to minimse the impact of a failure, explaining all the way what you need to do and why.Automation: The Flight Management Computers, autopilot and flight director systems on both aircraft perform similar functions. Each type has its ‘special features’ and some odd quirks. It’s a draw.Manual flying: I love the fly-by-wire system on the Airbus. The A330, especially the -300, is incredibly graceful in the sky, and you can control it with pin-point accuracy. The protections in pitch, bank and speed make it hard to mess up in Normal Law (see below) and allow you to be brutal and ham-fisted in a crisis (like, about to hit a mountain) while the aircraft interprets your inputs and delivers what you actually need. The fly-by-wire on the B777 is also great, but maybe a bit less precise. That said, it flies very accurately and rides a turbulent approach with ease.Gotchas: These are incredibly complicated aircraft and the devil is in the details. There are some things you have to know and be ahead of at all times. For example, while the Normal Law protection on the A330 is great, when it fails you lose protections. Couple that with the non-backdriven, non-crosslinked controls and you get Air France 447 dropping into the Atlantic. Uness you know what to look for and when. The B777 also has its foibles and has to be managed correctly; the Asiana accident in San Fransico shows what happens when you don’t understand the automation. In summary, they are both superb aircraft to fly, and very capable. I love operating the 777, but I miss that comfy seat!Note: this answer only addresses the question A330 vs B777. Other aircraft from the same manufacturers are as different as, say, a Ford Mustang is to a Ford Explorer.

What are the differences between psychopaths, sociopaths and borderline personality disorders?

Thanks for the A2A.Psychopathy is something one is born having. Studies using fMRI brain scans show psychopaths have reduced connections between the ventromedial prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain responsible for feelings like empathy and guilt, and the amygdala, which regulates fear and anxiety. Here are brain scans of psychopaths versus non-psychopaths.Scientists say that the structural differences in a psychopathic brain are distinct even from those with Sociopathy.Canadian psychologist Robert D. Hare developed the following checklist for psychopathy in the 1970s.Many professionals now dispute his famous list.Wikipedia lists these traits:This was partly based on a clinical profile by American psychiatrist Hervey M. Cleckley published in 1941.Many psychiatrists, psychologists, scientists and mental health researchers now disagree with Hare’s checklist and other writings on psychopathy. He has been widely criticized for being inaccurate and biased. For example, he based his checklist largely only on people who were in prison. Naturally, they would not represent a high functioning psychopath.Psychopaths do not bond with others, have limited or shallow emotions, are unable to feel empathy, remorse, guilt, sadness, grief, love, jealousy, and fear.Sociopathy (also known as Antisocial Personality Disorder) shares many characteristics with psychopathy, notably lack of empathy for others. However, sociopaths usually have a conscience, even though it’s weak. Psychopaths tend to be more “cold” and calculating. Also, sociopaths seem to have the capacity, although limited, to bond with certain people to an extent.Sociopaths are usually more impulsive, less stable and have more erratic behavior than psychopaths. While psychopaths are born that way, sociopaths appear to be created by both a genetic predisposition and environmental factors. Some scientists theorize their brains mature at a slower rate than non-sociopaths. Factors which can contribute or cause sociopathy include:Physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse early in life.Severe neglect by primary caregivers.Extreme poverty and/or exposure to frequent violence.Early loss of, or rejection by a parent. There tends to be significant overlap between Borderlines, Narcissistic Personalities, Antisocial Personalities, Primary psychopathy, and Secondary psychopathy.People with Borderline Personality Disorder feel empathy, although at times they experience a limited capacity or temporary loss of the ability for it.They are able to bond normally with others, except in rare cases.Borderlines tend to feel all emotions more strongly than the average person does. Sometimes, however, their ability to feel emotions disappears for periods of time. They also frequently display rapidly changing moods and severe mood swings. They often feel as though they have a dark, or evil side, and struggle with this dichotomy a lot.Borderlines can feel very intensely, especially love, anger, hatred, sadness, guilt, remorse, and jealousy. They often suffer from moderate to severe depression and/or anxiety.Borderlines have a very fractured sense of identity. They usually fear rejection and abandonment. They can be extremely impulsive and prone to self destructive behaviors, such as drug abuse and cutting.Borderlines are usually created by severe, early childhood abuse and/or neglect, or the early loss or rejection of a parent, just like sociopaths. There are interesting studies that suggest a genetic component to borderline personality disorder as well. Finally, there is a condition known as a Borderline Sociopath. This just means the person has borderline personality disorder along with many traits of sociopathy.Hope this was helpful!

Dishonerable and buggy Ive used V 5, and V6 before recently purchasing PDF Element V7. Software has always had bugs which includes crashing but found it useful to compress and edit pdfs. Most recently I purchased V7. There are bugs in both these function. But worst, I purchased at a 40% discount but CocoDoc charged full fee. When I submitted documentary evidence they prevaricated and try to fob me off by asking me to pay for a new product at a higher price before they would refunding my original payment (seriously!) then offered to refund VAT only (you kidding!) CocoDoc is completely dishonourable.
