She became Miss India.I'm talking about Koyal Rana.(Miss India 2014)She was the epitome of beauty at the tender age of 14.Though 3 yrs senior to me, I would hear people talk about her whenever she would walk through the corridors, visit the canteen or the basketball court.People literally would turn their heads around when she would be in the auditorium. ( even if she would be just standing in a corner)Being a girls school, one might think of how much attention can girls receive? A lot, I'll say.Being pretty has its perks. People are nice to you for no reason at all. They think and feel good about you. Everyone has a good impression of you. And she was the most polite and soft spoken person you could ever come across.As of now, she's doing advertisements,commercials and judges beauty pageants too.

Okay, folks!Back in Senior High School, we had a project where we had to produce a movie. This will be played in the auditorium and the audience will be all the students in the school.Our grades will depend on how many tickets will be sold.So our group decided that we should choose horror as our genre. Since romance is common.When everybody was asked what character they would like to portray, I immediately volunteered myself as the ghost.This was because I'm an extremely shy person, and I was afraid of being the center of attention. I was afraid of being recognized. If I played as a ghost, no one would ever know me (because I would have to wear a makeup).We began to shoot scenes. And I never thought it would be so much fun.We searched for an abandoned house. And found one near our classmate's home.This was us shooting at past 1 am.(We chose to do the scenes at 1 am because everything was quiet and eerie. Just perfect.)Imagine, because I was the ghost, I was left on the second floor alone in the darkness. That made me scared a bit.A little noise and they would scream. The patrolling guard even warned us for disturbing the neighborhood.And this photo was captured by me. We were shooting in the forest and they were very weary at that time so they slept in there. That was past 3 in the afternoon.I dread activities like these. Acting, Role-playing, but I never thought I would enjoy this very much. For me, this was the most unforgettable moment of my life.This is me before my turn to act. My makeup wasn't finished yet. But I think it looked great. The makeup artist was my classmate.I felt the fun. The excitement. And the thrill.I would never forget this memory.And by the way, we did not win. Unfortunately. The one whose genre was romance grabbed the title.All is well that ends well.

Oh I’ve got a good one!At my high school, it was a graduation requirement for all seniors to take a semester of AP Economics.The Econ teacher, Ms. R, was a notoriously harsh grader who’d been working at the school for 25+ years. She assigned a lot of work and actually expected students to do it, unlike many other teachers who didn’t have particularly high expectations.And 95% of her students passed the AP exam, so there was no doubt her methods were effective.Our senior prank was to leave behind for future classes of seniors a constant and harrowing reminder that one day, they’d have to take Econ with Ms. R.Each senior printed and cut out six wallet-sized pictures of Ms. R’s yearbook photo. Something like this, but individual cut outs of an elderly woman rather that typical children.There were 225 kids in my class, with six cut outs each. There were a total of 1,350 pictures of Ms. R brought to school by seniors one day, totally unbeknownst to the administration.Throughout the day, everyone hid their cutouts around the school. Ms. R was EVERYWHERE. Go to the bathroom and close the stall, there’d be three taped to the door watching you do your business. On overhead lights, in random books in the library, on seats in the auditorium, even taped to basketballs in the gym. Those little fuckers were EVERYWHERE!Even now, a year after we pulled this off, I’ll get texts from friends that were younger than me with pictures of another picture of Ms. R they found.Easy, cheap, non-damaging, and long-lasting. It was a pretty good prank I think.
