Yes, it is true.It is also true that there is quite simply not ONE nation on earth in which he is welcome. [Russia? :-) ]Meetings of international leaders shun him, and laugh at him when he attempts to speak.Criticism of him worldwide is based as much on what passes for a personality, as it is about his policies.Far from being welcome, he is exceptionally unwelcome. Not since Saddam Hussein or Idi Amin or Robert Mugabe or Pol Pot has an international head of state been seen as so toxic as Trump.Now, that’s the answer to the first part of your question. You also ask why.Firstly, his policies. These are based on three towering principles of Trump’s; me, self and I. He has absolutely no interest in his country or what happens to it in the future; it’s all about him. He pursues agendas which are nakedly and blatantly pro-Trump, and anti-everything-else. Round the world, other people don’t like that. Internationally, he is seen as one whose lack of knowledge of the world, and lack of anything close to good judgement about it, is staggeringly bad and staggeringly obvious. Politically, nobody, but nobody trusts him. His failed businesses, willingness to break promises and unwillingness to honour agreements is legendary, long before he entered politics. The rest of the world has access to more balanced media information about him than is available top many Americans who still, almost unbelievably, support him.Secondly, his personal characteristics. His brash, low-class, ignorant, boorish and bullying attitude is cultural anathema in Britain, and elsewhere. Civilisation and civilised societies do not take kindly to loud, brash, pushy behaviour - something that many “entitled” American tourists have found out to their embarrassment abroad. You don’t “get what you want” outside Mar-a-Lago by making the most noise about it. His demeanour is seen internationally as crude, uninformed, ignorant and confrontational.Thirdly, his intellect and attitudes.His “alpha-male” or “macho” image cuts no ice internationally. It is seen as what it is - ignorant, bigoted, trailer-trash lowlife. He is also very clearly a man of very poor intellect. His personal history ranges from his teachers saying he was the “dumbest student” they ever had, to his lies and cowardice in evading military service, even his cheating at golf. Kim Jong-UN tells his nation that he’s a genius at everything, that he’s the best swimmer, golfer, athlete, whatever, that North Korea has ever known. The rest of the world laughs at him - including Donald Trump. Trump trots out the same arrogant, childish nonsense, and the world laughs at him. Trump’s failed businesses have always been known of - anyone who ever dealt with him business-wise frequently ended up getting stiffed by him.He is overall, an exceptionally odious person. He has not got a single, solitary redeeming characteristic.This is why Britain may well see the USA as an ally, but with good information to their hands, they see Trump as what he is - lowlife; thus have zero respect for him.
