Personally I identify with my Indian Ancestry more than my Pakistani identity. By ethnicity I’m a Bihari (Maithil and Bhojpuri), linguistically we speak Urdu but the Bihari Languages are our actual mother tongues, culturally I can see eye to eye with a Hindu Bihari more than any other Pakistani.My paternal side are Maithil Biharis and Pathan by caste (not by ethnicity), I know for a fact that I'm a Nasli Pathan meaning that my ancestors were Pashtuns who came into India and assimilated into the local Bihari Culture during the Delhi Sultanates. Within the Pathan subcaste of Nasli, Biharis have 11 subdivision that are based on the tribe of origin, mine is Yusufzai. So on my paternal side my ancestor(s) came from the Swat Valley area of Pakistan around 500–800 years ago, assimilated into the local Maithil Culture, marrying local Maithili women and leaving behind our Pathan roots.My maternal side belongs to the Sheikh Caste, they are Bhojpuri Biharis by ethnicity. This could mean that our ancestors were Bhumihar Brahmin converts to Islam via Sufi Saints or a few Arabs came in and married Brahmin convert women. I choose to believe that we are desended from Bhumihars because the Arabs didn't reach that far into India and because our family name isn't a conventional Sheikh Family name.It's important to understand from all of this that my ancestors came to India with the purpose to make India their home for generations to come. More importantly they assimilated, they didn't impose their culture on anyone else, they practiced the same culture as their Hindu Bihari friends but they maintained a different belief System. When I think about my ancestors coming from Pakistan or possibly Arabia, I think that is interesting to know, but I'm not proud in any sense, nor do I find anything in common (culturally) with Arabs or Pashtuns. I'm proud to belong to a Bihari family who has lived in Bihar for hundreds of years as Hindus, and continued to live as Biharis after their conversion or migration; and now even after our 70 year saga from Bihar to Dhaka to Karachi to the U.S we have still protected our culture and identity.For some reason a lot of Pakistanis like to think that Muslims arrived in India in a large group of people didn’t intermingle and ruled over the Hindus, these Pakistanis look up to the Muslim Invaders who plundered India and killed thousands so of people. These Pakistanis over look the fact that at one point or another, whether your caste is a Syed or a Dalit, at least one person in your family converted to Islam from Hinduism or Buddhism.I was born and raised in the U.S, I visited Pakistan 2 years ago and I was looking at one of the History Textbooks of my younger cousins in 6th grade at the time. Her textbook went in detail about the Indus Valley and early European encounters, skipped over the Vedic Kingdoms and Hindu Empires, talked a lot about Muslim India, gave a huge amount of information on the Britsh Raj and Indepedence and then it ended. Pakistanis want to embolden the fact that a portion of their ancestors came from a foreign land and thus it can serve the purpose of justifying the creation of Pakistan.In the end, personally I love India and I love my Indian Heritage. I accept my Hindu and “Native Indian” ancestry and respect my culture and continue to practice it.I want every Indian to underatand that India was compelling, people wanted to move there. If Muslims wanted to come and economically benefit from India they could have sent armies to plunder it and send the riches back to foreign lands much like the British and early Muslim invaders. As time progressed attitudes changed and outsiders wanted to beacome Indians too.Even though I'm an American Paksitani, 70 years later I'm still an Indian.

The White House might come under attack, but it could not come under siege. A siege is a prolonged isolation of a target by a hostile force which cuts off supplies and communication while attempting to physically destroy or capture the target or the people within it. Fifty people attempting a siege would be caught or killed long before they could capture the White House.However, 50 people could launch a coordinated attack which could be quite disruptive. To illustrate this possibility, I will use a fictional news account.>Just as dawn broke on Sunday morning, in the midst of blizzard conditions and temperatures in the low 20's, numerous small missiles and RPG's dropped onto the White House roof, exploded against the exterior walls, and penetrated windows. The coordinated attacks were launched by a group calling itself Levant Justice, a known terrorist organization. Not less than 50 individuals located on roof tops and in the upper stories of nearby buildings fired their rockets and mortars in rapid succession, at approximately 5:15 in the morning.Launch points included the tower of St. John's Episcopal Church to the north, the Renwick Gallery to the northwest, The Corcaran School to the southwest, The Marriott Hotel in the southeast, and other nearby locations which have not yet been finally determined. Approximately 75 shells landed in and around the White House. Captured documents indicated that access to the buildings had been secured as early as 2 weeks prior to the attack. Several ammunition caches have been located, accounting for over 800 rounds available to the attackers.Inside the White House, the President and First Lady were moved within minutes of the first impacts to a secure basement area, and a contingent of US Marines was immediately deployed by helicopter, arriving on the south and north lawns about 30 minutes after the attack commenced. Within another half hour, National Guard troops moved in with armored vehicles. Streets were sealed off within a mile of the White House. Several fires in the White House were quickly extinguished, but the explosive impact of rounds coming through windows destroyed or damaged furnishings and some art works. Concerned about the possibility of gas or biological agents, authorities sealed off various internal areas, and all but essential personnel were evacuated or moved to protected underground areas.Battlefield radar successfully back-plotted incoming rounds, but counter-fire was difficult to establish because some launch points were located behind taller structures; missiles and mortar shells were lobbed over the higher buildings. Multiple locations added an element of uncertainty to the various points of origin. High accuracy indicated, and documents later confirmed, that trajectories had been worked out well in advance of the assault.Site commanders attributed the eventual capture or killing of the attackers to the very condition the terrorists had relied upon for their initial success -the weather and dark or twilight conditions. With little or no traffic, the sounds of launch and visible trails of some rockets identified the buildings from which the projectiles originated. Counter-attacking troops and SWAT teams quickly moved through the empty hallways and stairs to isolate the terrorists. Once located, the terrorist units were quickly dispatched. Seventeen terrorist fighters were killed, the rest apprehended. There were no deaths or serious injuries to military responders or police.The First Family was evacuated to Camp David sometime prior to 2 PM, well after shelling had stopped. Severe weather made a helicopter escape inadvisable; the President and his family were moved by unspecified "other means." Sources within the White House said only that the alternative means of egress had been planned well in advance of the need for it, and was accomplished smoothly and quickly, according to plan.Meanwhile, the testimony of surviving terrorist fighters, and follow-on forensic investigations have produced a wealth of information, still under study, about how the attacks were planned and the means by which the terrorist fighters were able to secure their offensive positions without detection.
