the answer is YES and NO too…dont get confused!! let me explain.fix it pro can fix the minute scratches like which are not deeper than the clear coat, and to say exactly it doesnt actually removes them it just covers them, so they can be visible after some hard washes on it.Use Toothpaste to Remove Scratches & Scuffs. Just grab a damp, soft cloth and a smear of toothpaste, and you can erase scratches and scuff marks on your car without much work involved. This trick works best if the scratches and/or scuff marks haven't fully penetrated the clear coat of your vehicle's paint. this method also helps to fix those kind of scratches and cheaper, way easier too…however the bigger scratches which are very deep are to fixed in the service centre itself as it is a much big, time and energy consuming process and to be done carefully.

Ormhel Manuel is right. The absence of clear coat in those spots does contribute to sun damage. Peeling/missing clear coat is due to lack of proper paint care.Take for example:Washing with soaps that aren’t meant for cars, i.e. too harsh and abrasive for the clear coat. Using these will degrade and strip the clear coat. Examples: Dish detergent, clothes detergent, etc. Solution: use soaps meant for cars.Using materials that are too rough on its coat - Examples: bath towels, gritty sponges, rough sides of sponges, a cloth that you dropped on the ground that picks up particles, and the like. Solution (if you wash it yourself): Use microfiber cloths/towels/mitts instead. Also ensure that the cloths don’t pick up dirt by using a separate container for washing the body than you use for the wheels and make sure the bottom of that container is bumpy enough to trap some dirt.Going to only those automatic/tunnel car washes, esp. too often, will likely leave your car with scratches too.Not waxing often enough. This is different from polisher which will make your car shiny for a while but not as beautiful as it would be with a proper wax job and detailing.
